Sierra had come back to the muggle world visiting her brother. Only a couple days have passed and there were already new marks on her. Her parents were never happy to see her. She continued walking with long sleeves and pants through the zoo. She got to the wolves den and watched them. She had read that they'd do anything to protect their young and was slightly jealous of the pups. She couldn't remember a time she felt completely safe around her family. There was only a couple people she had told about what really went on at home.
The first one was her beloved Dimitri. Yes he was a professor but she felt everything was right around him. Oh how she missed him. She missed going to his class everyday and their secret meetings. She couldn't wait to graduate so it wouldn't have to be such a secret anymore. He had offered her a place to stay but she always looked forward to her brother coming home. She turned from the wolves den going and buying a snack from one of the concession stands.
The second person she ever told was Selene. She knew exactly what it was like at her home. She missed her too when she came to see her brother. The zoo was her only good memory of her home. She stuck her hands in her pockets continuing her walk through the zoo. She had one more day before she had to catch the train back or have someone come get her and take her back to Hogwarts. She rested near the zebras just watching them.

Dimitri had no problem being in the muggle world since he grew up in a muggle orphanage it never seemed to be as boring or as different to him as it was for other witches and wizards. His sister, to his surprise, though he never told her yet, didn't seem to mind the muggle world but she was always fascinated by the every day things that happened here and the fact that it was different without magic. Though with the help of Airous he was glad she got to know a few things about the muggle world and along with having a father figure in her life now who also knew of the muggle world to help her in understanding. He was dressed in black jeans, artfully ripped in spots in the front, a plain black t-shirt and a plaid long sleeve shirt that covered up most of his tattoos except on his hands.
He reached the entrance of the entrance after walking from the farthest point of the parking lot, though he knew how to drive, he just didn't own a car since it was much faster to apperate and disapperate from places and he had picked the furthest in the parking lot to do that. He had gone in and slowly went to the first animal he had always loved the most which were the tigers he had loved them so much that he had chosen that animal, the siberian tiger, as his animagus form though none, other then the ministry knew of his animagus form. They were powerful animals and he loved what they were along with the wolf though with the wolves he wished he had a bond like they did with their families since it was hard not having that though his aunt accepted him more so then ever.
He slowly went to the wolf den. He knew that his sisters, Selene and Eclipse, were both animagus they both had chosen wolves, though Selene was the black wolf and Eclipse was the white one, kind of like Yin and Yang for the pair of them. He understood why they both had chosen those and both Eclipse and Selene had a saying: 'Darkness doesn't always equate to Evil just as Light doesn't always equate to good.' It fit them since they knew the difference between good and evil, dark and light and since it was the dawn of a new war it was ironic really.
He now thought of his Sierra, the one person he actually did ever love more then anything other then his family now. She meant a lot to him and if he lost her, he would be devastated and he didn't want to even think of what could happen to her. He had nightmares that something would seriously go wrong and he would lose her forever and there was no way of getting her back and that was something he couldn't bare. He missed her desperately, he missed all the times in the class and the secret meetings where they could be together and have those brief precious moments. He knew that it was hard on both of them keeping their secret relationship away from everyone and it was hard for him to keep his mind closed about that for now he had a secret little room in his mind about their relationship. He let out a small sigh, what he wished was that he could see her again to tell her how much she meant to him and how much he cared. He couldn't wait for her to graduate for then it would mean they didn't have to hide their relationship anymore.
After that he found something to eat, since he hadn't eaten for about 24 hours he didn't have much time with trying to prepare classes and his fear of losing the people he loved he didn't have much time. He wasn't much of a meat eater but he chose something that wasn't meat, though not much to choose from but he finished it before reaching the next exhibit which were the zebras. Though he never found interest in them he hardly ever liked something that resembled horses though he was obsessed with horses. He was so lost in thought that he didn't even see Sierra.

Sierra was still remanessing about different things the comfortable and uncomfortable. She just wish she could show her brother her other world and how awesome it was, then again with the war it probably wasn't the best idea. She thought back to her favorite story Harry Potter and how in the end everything turned out for the better. She just knew that would happen for her someday.
Sierra to be honest never expected to see anyone from school here. Her visions had been so blurry lately she didn't know what to make of them half the time. She continued watching the zebras more in thought than actually watching them.
She had found herself curious trying to see how each zebra was different. She didn't understand how each zebra was suppose to have different stripes when they all looked the same. She guessed that was just how zookeepers kept people interested. She still couldn't believe another year had come and gone.
Her mind went back to Dimitri. She would do anything for him just to make him happy. He wasn't in her visions that she could make out atleast. To be honest she just couldn't wait to see him again. She watched as different groups went passed her none of them had her Dimitri in them. Her heart ached to just be with him again. She finally just let her eyes rest for a bit.
She drowned out the voices of the other people. She had just about fallen asleep when a familiar cologne wifted through the wind. Her eyes shot open and searched the crowd for him. She walked up to someone that looked a lot like him. "Dimitri?" She asked hoping she was right.

His mind kept racing. He kept thinking and many told him that he thought to much and that it could be good and bad but that depended on what he was thinking about. He wished that he could have someone to enter his mind and just see what he was thinking about without fear of them finding out who he was. He wanted Selene to do that but then again if she went to deep she would find out that he was in fact her brother and that he was with a student and that was wrong but he was in love with her and that was everything. After he finished he tossed the plate away in the recycle and continued staring at the zebra without actually seeing them. He remembered stories he read and one in particular was always the Harry Potter story which he loved because it showed bravery, courage and loyalty and that was what he wanted to be.
Dimitri was not expecting anyone that he knew, no one from school especially here and many wizards didn't like muggles especially muggle borns. To him everyone was equal though people had special gifts that are hidden from people like the muggles and that shouldn't be something to gloat about. Many pure bloods, like him though unlike him, hated those that were muggles and muggle borns because they thought that they, the muggle borns, shouldn't be allowed. He thought that it shouldn't matter what type of blood, Pure, half or muggle born they should learn what they are and learn how to master what abilities they had. His family at least hecate and those that live with her or stand by her were considered blood traitors and he was one as well. He accepted all and thats what made him a blood traitor.
The swishing of the zebra's tail was soothing to him and he started to relax a little but he could never fully relax. He knew that if dark wizards wanted him, cause they, especially Luna, wanted to harm Selene, get to him they got to her. Though the sad thing is, they were misguided since she never knew that he was her sibling. He rubbed the back of his hand that had the heart on it with the arrow going through it though it didn't have a name on it yet but once he got married he would add the name to it. Thats when his mind went back to Sierra and how he felt about her and he knew that given time and patience he would want that, to give her a life a better one away and have a good one. He wanted her happy and doing anything for her to make her happy was his goal he wanted to see her, to hold her again.
He felt the slight wind and he liked it, the familiar soft touch and he had always loved that. It reminded him of his aunt who had given him so much where as she should have been his mother then that Sliz. Hecate was calm, patient, and loving to him where as his mother wasn't and his father hated him. That's when he heard his name and he turned and his eyes fell on Sierra.
"Sierra? Is that really you?" he asked excitement and love in his voice that he always had for her.

The world was colder without him. The muggle world use to be her home now she considered Hogwarts her home. She knew what it was like for someone to enter her mind. Selene hadn't gone far enough to find out about Dimitri thanfully. She wondered what it was like to be able to get into people's minds. She was happy with just having visions though.
She always wondered what it was like to come from an all magical family. She knew her views wouldn't be different no matter how bad her parents were if they were bad that is. She was glad muggleborns were allowed she didn't know what she'd do if they weren't. She was glad everyone she's met so far liked muggleborns. She didn't understand why only certain blood should be allowed. She just thought those people had corrupt minds.
She didn't know much about the war just that there were good and bad sides. She just worried everyday about Dimitri and Selene. She didn't know why other than she loved them both and the feeling she was getting. She knew she didn't want to worry them before she fully understood the feeling she was getting. She knew she'd figure out the feeling soon enough. She smiled at the memory of the last time she saw Dimitri flooded her mind.
She always loved the feel of the wind. Dimitri had been there for her not just as her love but as her bestfriend. She was glad that this part of the zoo wasn't busy. She smiled as he looked at her.
"It's me Dimitri. Oh how I missed you." She said not able to help running up and hugging him.

He continued to think about how his life turned around and how everything still felt like it was falling apart still. His third younger sister, Rayne, had left with her grandfather to get away from the school and to be what she really was though no matter how much Selene and Azazel tried to tell her that everything would be fine that she was accepted, one day she was just gone. No matter how much he cared, it seemed, that she was just not that willing to open up to new and better ideas and that she had people that cared about her and were willing to protect her and to make sure she was loved. It was hard, he guessed, for her, to be accustomed to the world in which he and his other family were so used to. He wished he was like Selene in order to know what really was the reason she and her grandfather left but then again, he knew that he would never fully know.
His heart was broken that he couldn't do more for her for being what she was and he didn't know how to tell her, though now it was pointless, for he would never see her again for her distrust with people. His thoughts now turned back to Sierra, she was what made him whole now along with Selene who understood him and more so then he realized and he would never want to give that up. He knew that his father, Markus, though he really wasn't considered his father now because of giving him up and what he did to Selene, would hate him for loving a muggleborn who deserved just as much as the half and pure borns to be in the magical world. There shouldn't be a problem for what they were, only the sick and twisted people, like his father, would hate them.
The war bothered him because that usually meant that he would have to worry about his family and Sierra every day because he was not always there to help them when they needed it and he feared he would loose someone that he desperately loved the most. Especially Sierra for if he lost her, he would be lost himself because he wouldn't know what to do and if something happened he would want to be where ever she was. He just wished that he could just hold Sierra close to him and never let go of her and keep her close for forever. He would always be there for her whenever she really needed him and he would always try to find a way to help her even if he couldn't always see a clear way of helping he would help her as much as he could possibly do.
After he had turned around and looked at her he was very pleased to see that she was alive. He was worried something seriously wrong would happen and she would get killed by her parents and that was one thing he feared as well, not just something happening in the war but something between her and her parents. He smiled glad to see she was fine, though maybe not fully great but she was alive and that was important to him.
"I've missed you so much. I've been worried about you and I keep waking up at night thinking something happened to you. How are you doing?" he asked smiling and hugged her not wanting to let her go.

Sierra didn't know how much different life could be for her until she met Dimitri. She thought back to her brother thinking it was best that he didn't know much about her world. She was always scared to get to close to anyone until the first first class she had with Dimitri and that all just seemed to change. She started thinking back to her first year and how excited she was to be a witch so excited she read all her school books that summer. That excitement had grown with each year even now.
She went back to thinking about her brother and tried to figure out how her parents liked boys better. Her life to her was a big mistake before Dimitri and Selene who always brightened her day. She knew her kind were shunned by many in the wizarding world but tried not to let it bother her. When she was called a mudblood she acted like it didn't bother her but would end up crying herself to sleep at night.
Her thoughts went back to the war she believed she couldn't bear it if she lost loved ones. She didn't want to think of loosing Dimitri always hit her hard and she tried not to think about it. She always wished graduation was around the corner so she could be with him more. She wanted to be there for him like he was for her.
Words could not express how happy she was seeing him today. She out of automatic reflex pulled down her sleeves some more to hide the stitches. She couldn't help but keep smiling.
"I've missed you so much too. You shouldn't have to worry. I'm doing good. How has you holiday been?" She asked still smiling nuzzled into him.

Dimitri wondered what it would be like to not be a pure blood but wondered what it would be like to be a half blood or muggle born, though both had their hardships since many said that half bloods had one foot in both worlds, muggle borns didn't belong but pure bloods were pure. He was just happy he had a family that loved him and wanted him part of their life though at his aunts for christmas Selene wasn't there and he guessed she, Airous and Willow had christmas at their home and came the next day. He was always scared of getting to close with anyone since everyone he got close to always seemed to go by either leaving or dying a horrible death but this time he would never let anything like that happen.
Dimitri knew that his parents were picky about their children for they never wanted him or Selene but seemed to not care about Eclipse or the four boys that they had. Maybe it was because they had that dark side like them though he knew enough about Eclipse that she was only doing what she had to in order to protect her family. His father and his other siblings, apart from himself, Eclipse and selene were completely evil and corrupted with hate and anger that would destroy the world. When called a blood traitor he stood up for what he believed in not giving any thing to those that wanted the pleasure to seeing him upset.
He knew that if this war harmed anyone he would not let it down, he would hunt those who had harmed his family and loved ones and destroy those that harmed his family. He would never stop fighting until his final breath to see that they paid for what they did to him and the others in their family. He wanted so much for Sierra to graduate so that he didn't have to worry so much since the war seemed to be at the school but others, that were involved, were out of school to but he could keep her safe he could have someone protecting her.
When he saw her he was so glad that she was not gone, that nothing to severe had harmed her for he would not enjoy going straight to her parents demanding what they thought in harming her. She was an amazing person and they kept harming her and he didn't want her to have to continue to suffer. He would think of something soon. He couldn't help but keep that quirky grin he always had when she was there but he slowly saw that she had moved her sleeves and he would ask later about that for right now he was just glad she was ok.
"It was hard not having you with me. I can't help but worry about you, at least someone has to for you. It was good, spent christmas eve with my aunt and her husband and their daughter along with Tony his fiance Nerefon and their son Sirius. How was yours?" he asked brushing a strand of stray hair and tucked it behind her ear.
"Oh, I have something for you. I didn't think it wise to send it to you through owl post but I was going to wait till I saw you back at the school. Here." he said taking a small wrapped square box that was covered in a beautiful silver wrapping and inside, in a velvet box, was a silver ring with black titanium in the middle and silver celtic design going across the titanium. He wore the duplicate on his right hand ring finger.

She thought life would be simpler being pure or half blood. She just knew no matter what Christmas was just awkward with the family she had. SHe did her best to keep her mind positive no matter what was going on.
She had to admit it though she was glad her family was muggles then there wouldn't be more division than there already was. She just hoped one day she could make her parents proud of her. She was glad to choose the brightside no matter what could happen. She had to admit the war scared her a little no matter how brave she acted.
The war was something hard for her to think about. The thought of possibly loosing those she loved hurt but knew she'd be after who did it when it came to it. She knew the war was in the school and that's why she didn't tread lightly there.
The stitches had started to hurt slightly but being with Dimiti she could easily ignore them. She didn't believe she was that great of a person just like her parents knew she wasn't with the war everytime she saw him was a relief to her.
"It was hard not being with you. Honestly I always worry about you. That's good. How are they? Mine was alright." SHe blushed as he tucked her hair away.
"Realy? I don't think it would have been either." She took the box and opened it and smiled. "It's beautiful." She said happily smiling taking it out. She now felt bad she hadn't had money to buy him anything.

He ran his hand through his hair, which was growing out again. He had so many people come up and ask him about music, cause for a while, when he was doing curse breaking for the bank, he would perform music for muggles and wizards alike. He had grown out his hair for a specific Album and then had cut it after the album and the touring, while he was curse breaking, in various places. His parents wouldn't like it, they thought it was to much of a muggle thing though there was a band called 'The Weird Sisters' in the wizard world and eventually he hoped to come back though it had been about two years since he had done anything. His music was one of the things that kept him positive when all he wanted to do was just curl up and never do anything because of his blood status and the fact that his christmas, now kind of awkward, were now no longer lonely.
He was glad, though he still hated his parents, that his parents weren't apart of his life for they didn't belong there. He had done so much for himself getting a job in the wizarding world being, what a muggle called it, doctor though in other terms healer when he first got out of school for a few years though he started music there singing to the people there. He just hoped that one day his parents would regret what they did to him and that they would beg him to come back into their lives, well that may happen but they would have to change first. He was glad he had chosen his side, the side of good, he was scared but being brave didn't mean that he wasn't scared, it took courage as well to keep going no matter how horrible or scared he was to him that was brave.
The war was hard to think around but as long as he had those he cared about around him who loved and supported him and would fight along side him to finish this war, that's all that mattered to him. Thinking about those he cared for lost to him hurt but he would carry on taking their place and remembering who they were and making sure that their sacrifice wouldn't go unnoticed. Though everything was happening and close to the school he was always on edge fearing that something would happen at every corner but knew he also had to defend those who couldn't and keep a brave face on for them.
His worry for Sierra subsided for now that he could see her and hold her in his hug, he knew that she was safe. He may not be the perfect person but to many he was perfect for being who he was and that he didn't have to change because of that. He wasn't the best or greatest but in many ways that didn't matter, the only thing that did was that he tried, and if he was perfect to others who cared and loved him, thats all that mattered to him. Being with her, he felt better because it was a relief to him knowing that she was right there next to him and that he could help and protect her better.
"It was and every day I thought about you and it was hard not trying to find you and making sure that you were ok. I always worry about you I can't help it for I love you to much. They are good, though Selene and Airous with Willow showed up the next day but I didn't get to see them. Are you sure it was alright? After what you told me about your parents, I worry bout you more when your there with them." he said gently taking her face in his hands gently looking at her and smiled when she blushed.
"Yes really. No I bet it woud cause more conflict between you and your parents thats why I didn't send it. Don't worry about the money, Selene had taught me about her permanent charm work where she created rings for her and Airous so that they always knew what the other was feeling emotional and pain wise. She had taught me this how to do it and I created both of the rings and put the charm on them so that both of us would know how the other was doing. The rings only recognize us as theirs so no one could use them or wear them or even force the ring off of you. You don't have to worry about getting me anything, I don't expect anything in return for the only thing I want is you." he said gently though the last part was whispered for her ears only.
