Zoe was outside, she had summoned a black board and she had begun writing the days lesson on it. She was going to talk to them about fire salamander, those that like fire and have always prefered the warmth of the flames. When she was done writing and took a step back to examine it.
Assignment: After today's lesson, please write a six inch essay about the Fire salamander and their habitat and what they prefer to eat and hand it in by next week during class.
Notes: The salamander is a small fire dwelling lizard that feeds on flames. They are born out of flames, and appear to be blue or red depending on the heat of the flames. They live as long as the flames that spawned them. The salamander can survive outside out of the flames that birthed it for up to six hours if fed on pepper. Salamander blood has powerful regenerative and curative properties. Muggle world salamanders are amphibians, not lizards, and have no affinity for fire. There are different types of salamanders, such as the blue and the scarlet variety.
She had summoned some desks as well as a fire that would hold the salamanders in to keep the students happy.
((OOC: Some of the information I got I had to look up))

Kagirinai yawned as he headed towards one of the few classes he had signed up for, 'Care of Magical Creatures', he was somewhat curious about the western world and what creatures they held compared to the beasts native to Japan or the eastern world. No doubt their would be some kind of difference in creatures same with the criteria taught one side may have more information about certain beasts then the other. He was also curous about their treatment he knew in some creatures magical beasts were nothing but cattle or just trash to society and treated worse then the homeless and sick. In other countries they were worshipped. He would find out this worlds views on its magical beasts.
The Ravenclaw walked across the grassy lawns, the sole of his shoes scuffing against the grass as his cane rested in his hands, the blade humming lightly in his hands. He stroked the length of the cane lightly as he made his way towards the class noticing the teacher writing upon the black board. He eyed her carefully taking in her features, not a bad specimen in his eyes.
The Japanese Wizard sat on the ground a few feet from her resting his cane in his lap, "I take it your the teacher for this subject?" questioned Kagirinai as he stared at her with a lazy gaze all the while stroking the wooden handle of his cane in a tender manner. His sword purred at his touch in his mind.

Zoe was quiet pleased with herself, eventually she would be taking the class into learning about nifflers, Porlocks, Puffskeins, Pygmy Puffs, Unicorns, Werewolfs, Winged Horses, Banshees and Giants. Maybe, if they got past the Giants she would eventually take them through vampires, house elves and maybe veela. She knew that it was going to be a while but since she had to start small then work up from there to bigger things so that they could get a good grasp of what they are learning.
She twirled her wand in her hand thinking. She had chosen Care of Magical creatures for a reason because she got to know about them and studied them because of who she was and what she was. It was easier for her because she studied animals and their habitats and spent so much time alone in the forest where she felt more at home when she first arrived here and especially in America. She could barely hear footsteps but she didn't turn around right away she was lost in thought and kept to herself mainly.
"Yes I am. I am Professor Lee. I took this job cause I have loved animals and studied them since I was little and wanted to get a grasp of all creatures and what they are like. How about you?" she asked kindly turning around smiling, the scars still showing on her face.

Kagirinai watched as she turned smiling as she introduced herself and her love of animals, he hadn't asked for her life story. Though the scars on her face, he wondered if it taught her the lessons of life, of just how cruel and unkind this world was, that it wasn't sunshine and rainbows, that it was dark, cold and unloving to all who entered it. He thrummed his fingers together as his sword lay in his lap.
He mulled over in own thoughts briefly before deciding to speak up, he may as well introduce himself, their was no one else about, quite possibly if he gave a little info about himself to one of the teachers it would put him into a different light, then again the act he plays, "Ikazuchiarashi, Kagirinai is my name or in your language Kagirinai Ikazuchiarashi is just one of the few names I've known by. I have a rather unique connection to nature so I enjoy being around Flora and Fauna thanks to my nature magi"
Kagirinai leaned forward resting his chin in his right palm as he looked up at Zoe rather lazily, "I'm rather interested in knowing the different kind of Magical Creatures in the Western Magical World, no doubt this will be offer an increase to my already vast knowledge of the Magical Creatures of the Eastern Magical World. As well as find inspiration for creating new spells"
The ravenclaw finished his introduction and leaned back to lye on the ground. The grey hues of his eyes watching the clouds intently as they passed by, the chilled winter breeze having no effect on his body as he just relaxed amongst the snow.

She knew that she had a habit of talking a little to much when it came to it. Which, to her, was rare because she hardly was ever comfortable talking to new people but then again, it was easier now. Though, because she was a teacher now, she had to talk rather then keep silent at things such as this and she knew that there was no other way for it. She gently stroked the scars on her face, a reminder to her that nothing was as easy at it seemed and that being born here, was similar to a curse, like a cursed life that everyone had to face. There was beauty in it too but then again...where there was beauty there was also darkness and ugliness.
"Its very nice to meet you Kagirinai. Really? I guess that would be nice to have a unique connection to Nature and being more comfortable in it then anything else." she said curiously as she looked at him.
"I don't blame you. Every creature as their own unique value and difference in the world." she said agreeing and then looked up at the sky waiting for the other students to arrive hoping that they wouldn't be late.
