Physical Appearance

HEIGHT: Aster is a low 5 foot.

WEIGHT: Aster is considered to be skinny, though unsure of if this is an accurate assumption of herself as she tends to think of herself as quite heavy.

GENERAL: Her hair is of a light brown shade, often shadowing her light green shining emeralds of eyes. She's often seen with a small white flower hidden away in her hair, occasionally changing colour depending on the day of the year. Aster normally wears her nurses uniform but when she doesn't, she can normally be seen relaxing in a set of skinny jeans, a pink tank top with several flower chains across it and occasionally a comfortable light-brown jacket, the last thing of her father's which she owns.

Character Personal information

STRENGTHS: Aster is very strong in medical magic, often able to utter healing charms without a second thought and even more often able to cast healing spells easily.
She is also good at detecting, as well as casting, more violent spells connected to biological and chemical concoctions such as poisons. This is due to her father's side of the ministry of magic through chemicals. Aster finally also has a heart. Sure, everybody does, but nobody has a heart like aster's, her care and kindness often drawing her into the bravery that had put her in gryffindor when she first joined hogwarts.

WEAKNESSES: While it can be seen as a strength, her kindheartedness is also a weakness. This is solely because It makes her "weak" and easily manipulated through her compassion to most, if not any, people. Another weakness would be that Aster struggled with most other forms of magic, specifically wand magic. Though she may know the basics, she never dwelled deeper than anything too dangerous in her opinion. Also, she is an extremely shy character and so struggles to open up to people, despite her ability to get them to open up to her.

QUIRKS OR HABITS: She occasionally gets a stutter. Yes, a stutter. This stutter is often triggered when she is put on the spot or in the spotlight with several people or if she is nervous, irritable or panicking.
She also has a tendency to rub her right arm when she is nervous also, this has often lead to her arms being much redder than the rest of her skin which is rather pale.

BOGGART: Aster's greatest fear is the fear of being alone. To be an outcast and to have nobody would break aster's heart and so in order to defeat this, she has tried for years to boost her confidence with people but still struggles.

PATRONUS: Aster's animal is a rabbit with a single lily flower stuck between it's ear and it's head. It is conjured by thoguhts of a memory of her father before he had died. It was of a day when her father had bought her the flower which she now wore virtually every day of her life and it had made her so happy that she ensured it remained safe, offten reacting harshly if any were to try to take it from her.

PERSONALITY: As mentionned earlier, Aster is an extremely shy character. She often shys away from opening up to people and so her social skills could be considered terrible. However, despite this, she still has a certain thing about her which makes people trust her with most things. Though she appreciates this, Aster still struggles to do the same with the people she talks with.

FAMILY Aster only has her mother now as her father died in an accident at the ministry of magic when she was 14. Now however, she works at hogwarts with the other medics and nurses to help people where the ministers had been unable to with her father.
Aster's mother however owns a shop in diagon alley offering medicines, concoctions and cures at incredulously powerful ranges. She sells to anyone who has the money which occasionally bothers Aster as it allows many who weren't really.. nice.

HISTORY Aster was one of the lucky ones. Born into the family of a ministry high-up and a medical genius, she was always sorted with life no matter what would happen in the future. Well, so she thought.

She was placed into gryffindor upon being accepted into hogwarts, this surprised her due to her lack of confidence whcih was just so clear amongst the rest of the gryffindors.

As she worked hard, two years passed. Then came the day of her father's death. Her father had been working on a violent poison that caused the owner to physically rip away at their skin. The concoction had gone wrong and ended up shredding the skins of 50 people, including her father. The burial was quiet and swift, on question asked nor answered as she moved on. Well, tried to.

Aster continued to study everything she could under her parent's key life studies and eventually graduated with what she wished to have. She struggled through it all and discovered that she didn't want to leave. Not yet..

And so, Aster requested to become a nurse at hogwarts, accepted almost instantly by her headmaster that had helped her through her father's death. She appreciated it but knew she would never stop owing the man. As she helped people back to health, Aster felt she was slowly repaying a debt as wel as remaining happy with the school. After all, everywhere else would be scary to her.

Why are you good at your job?

Aster is fantastic at her job because her parents both have mass knowledge across medical subjects. Her mother bieng an expert in medicines, both muggle and magical, she had learned so much over the years that she could cast a medical spell with her eyes closed from memory. Her father had taught her about detecting and eradicating other thigns, such as diseases and poisons which means she can detect a poison easily.

Aster is also extremely kind. This makes her a suitable nurse as she cares for her patients a lot and never gives up on them unless she can do nothing more. Even then she will at least try to keep them comforted before the end and will do anything to make sure they are so.
