(( topic to be moved in the future. Setting: muggle world, masons apartment ))
It was the weekend. The time to organize and prepare for the next week. Since Mason had moved from Germany to England and had his own place, he didnt need to stay at Hogwats. In fact he never slept in the dorm unless he was to tired or sick to travel home. Even though traveling home wasnt that hard, a touch of floo powder and you were there.
Mason was busy cleaning. He didnt expect anyone over but it was nice to have a house that was clean before the school week. He had let himself go this week. The dishes were piled high, he didnt even recall making his bed once. And the bills were stack in a pile that he knew he had to send out. But money was tight. He knew this week would be a week were he would sleep in the dorm for he wouldn't having lighting or heating at home.

He had the day off and he couldn't deny that he was happy about it. Not that Sheldon didn't like his job, quite the contrary. But even he enjoyed the occasional break from his career. He'd spent most of the day with his pets, dividing his time between them the way only a caring pet owner could. And when he was done, he figured he'd pop over to see Mason. Deciding against floo powder - as he wasn't sure whether showing up randomly via floo powder would be creepy or not - he apparated to a secluded area near the location and walked the rest of the way.
It was hard finding time to see the other. After all, Mason had school and he had work, and often Mason was just getting done with his classes as Sheldon was just getting ready to go to the Ministry. Weekends were best, usually. Even if Sheldon had to work through the weekend, Mason almost never had to be at Hogwarts. He walked to the door and gave it two quick knocks, the way a normal Muggle would for he was currently in the Muggle world.
OOC: Fluff. Hehe. Sorry, couldn't be avoided otherwise I would have went below the word count.

The problem with living in the muggle world was he wasn't allowed to us magic. Not even for house chores. He would be able to one he had graduated from Hogwarts, but until then he was stuck without magic. Mason had his room cleaned when he heard the knock on the door. He frowned hoping it wasn't anyone important. The apartment was a tad bit to messy for his liking.
Mason hurried to the door. He hated making others wait. He unlocked the lock and opened it to find Sheldon standing before him. Mason couldn't help but smile. "Hey." He said "what are you doing here?" He asked letting Sheldon into the apartment, "don't mind the mess." He said nervously.

Mason was quick at answering the door, as though he'd been in a hurry. That alone brought a smile to Sheldon's face. Mason's rush to the door was endearing in a way. He wondered idly if that were normal for the other. It was easy for him to return Mason's expression, meeting his gaze.
"Hi," he replied, smile still intact. "Well," he began carefully, as though taking the time to make sure he didn't scare the other off. Even after being together for a while, he still had such moments. "I just figured, since I don't have to be at work now, that I'd stop by. I wanted to see you," he added. He shook his head in regards to the mess, chuckling before saying, "It's fine."

Mason took Sheldon's hand automatically as he closed the door behind the other and locking it. Mason didn't live in the friendliest of neighborhoods. He blushed when Sheldon spoke "really? I thought you would want to do something else on your day off then come see me." He said feeling flattered. "I always love your company."
Mason lead Sheldon into the kitchen were he had started to do dishes but hasn't gotten very far. "I have something for you." He said with a smile. He opened the refrigerator and brought out home made chocolate strawberries. Half were dipped in dark chocolate and the other in white. "I made these. I thought we could share."

Sheldon allowed Mason to grab his hand as he stepped inside. Mason shut and locked the door behind him. He wondered if the neighborhood was bad, but didn't ask. "Really," he said with another smile, "Why would I want to do anything else?" he teased playfully, "I wouldn't, because I love your company, as well."
Sheldon's eyes remained on Mason, not even taking note of the mess. He only had eyes for the other at that moment. "You do?" Sheldon asked curiously. He couldn't help sounding excited as he replied. Mason turned to the fridge, pulling out chocolate strawberries. "They look delicious," he said, grinning, "I'd love to share them."

Mason shrugged with a smirk on his face. "I mean you could sleep in, or go to bars, or hang with friends." He felt the small blush that covered his cheeks. "Instead your here with me. Which I don't mind at all." He said with a smile. And he didnt. Mason just wasnt use to having such a serious relationship. He loved it.
Mason smiled. "Good. Because l don't want to share them with anyone else but you." He said as he lead Sheldon to the living room, which wasnt that far away. Especially since his apartment fit for one person. He bit his lip as he realized he had his clean landuary spread on the couch. "I guess we'll have to sit on the floor." He said nervously,

Sheldon chuckled to himself, slightly amused at the suggestions. After all, none of them sounded better than the one he picked. Still, he jokingly replied with, "Sleeping in? I don't know why I hadn't thought of that," By his tone of voice, it was clear that he'd rather be there. "I don't mind it at all, either," he replied with a smirk of his own. Sheldon, also, wasn't used to being in a serious relationship. He was still adjusting to it, still trying to figure out what was and wasn't too much.
"Good," he said grinning, "because I wouldn't want you to have to," He allowed Mason to lead him to the living room. His eyes only drifted to the couch when Mason mentioned sitting on the floor. It would be easy to use magic to move the laundry, but Sheldon wasn't sure if that would be okay or not. They were still in the Muggle world and all. No magic preventing Muggles from seeing through those windows. Besides, he wouldn't mind sitting on the floor, anyway. "That's fine with me," he replied, "If you want any help cleaning, I have no problem staying for a while."
OOC: Sorry. D: Could have sworn I'd already replied.

Mason felt a small blush appear on his cheeks. "Well....I just feel like I'm wasting your time. I mean you could be doing fun stuff but instead your here with me and my dirty laundry." He said eyeing the pile of unfolded clothes. "I'm glad your here, don't get me wrong. I love your company, especially when I get you all to myself." He said with a smile.
Mason rolled the question off his shoulders with a shrug before sitting on the floor. "It's my mess. You can stay but I think I should be the one to clean it." He said with a smirk. Once Sheldon was settled in Mason unwrapped the chocolate strawberries from their container and placed them in between him and Sheldon before taking one and bitting into it. "I bet your place is all nice and clean. You get to use magic."

Sheldon shook his head in response, a smile on his face as Mason spoke. Mason's line of thinking was adorable, he couldn't deny that. "You're not wasting my time," he promised, still shaking his head, "If I thought it was a waste of time, I wouldn't be here," He said sincerely, "Mason, being with you is fun to me," he added then. He glanced at the laundry, grin on his face, "Dirty laundry and all."
Sheldon nodded in understanding, replying with, "If you insist. But my offer still stands, should you change your mind," He reached for a strawberry as Mason bit into one himself. He wasted no time biting into his own, savoring it for a moment before he spoke. "Yeah," he replied, "When I remember to use that magic. Sometimes, I just get home, make dinner, and go to bed," he admitted, "And even when it is clean, I don't put any work into it. Just wave a wand and it's done. Hardly seems fair."
OOC: >_> Not sure about it. May change if I get back to it before you reply.

Mason couldn't help the smile that spread across his face. "Good. Because it would suck if you didnt have fun with me. I like you to much to make this relationship suck." He said with a big grin. He meant what he said too. He loved Sheldon. He loved the time they spent together. Even of Sheldon decided to pop in on laundry day. "And I'm sure my laundry think your fun too."
"I can't wait to live in the wizarding world." Mason said with a sigh. "Everything just seems so much easier when you can use magic." He said finishing off the strawberry before scooting closer to Sheldon on the floor. Mason rested his head on Sheldon's shoulder. "Muggles make everything complicated."

Sheldon chuckled, smiling with Mason when he spoke. Yeah, it definitely would suck if the relationship wasn't fun. But Sheldon had never found it anything but. He enjoyed being with Mason, and he couldn't see that changing any time soon. "The relationship definitely doesn't suck," he replied with a small almost feminine giggle, "Far from sucking, I'd say," He looked at Mason's laundry, laughing lightly at his joke, "I'm sure it does, too," he replied.
"You don't have much longer to wait," he said with a smile, "You'll be able to use magic outside of Hogwarts soon. And at my house, you can use however much of it you want. Things kind of are easier with magic," he admitted, "You don't have to worry about a light bill. Magic covers that very easily. Even cleaning is easier," He finished his own strawberry, savoring the taste in his mouth for a moment before he spoke, leaning his head against Mason's when the other rested his own on Sheldon's shoulder. "They sure do," he agreed, "But perhaps we wizards just try to make everything too easy."

Mason smiled "I hope it doesn't. I know I'm not the greatest or easiest person to be with." He said with a smile before glancing back at the laundry with a chuckle. "The wizarding world sounds amazing." He admitted. "I wish I could live there. I almost can. After I graduate I plan on moving there." He said with a smile. "The land were everything is easy with just a flick of the wrist."
As if on cue, the apartment gave a small cry of death as everything went off. The lights flickered for a second before it was dark. The heat turned cold. Mason cursed out loud. He suddenly wondered how long those bills had been sitting on the table. "I'll get some candles hold on." He said before peeling himself off of Sheldon and wondering blindly into the kitchen. He knew were the lighter and candles were. And he started to light each one, room by room. Soon the apartment was dimly lite. He slowly walked back to Sheldon, and placing a large jar candle on the floor. "Sorry about that." He said embrasssd

"I can say with confidence that it does not," he replied grinning, "You are so the greatest person to be with," he added, giving Mason a quick peck on the cheek. And Sheldon thought he was. Whether Mason thought so or not. "It is amazing," Sheldon admitted, "I think many Wizards take it for granted. All the things we can do with just a flick of a wand. You'll be able to live there soon. As soon as you graduate," he chuckled, noticing how he and Mason had been thinking on the same track, "Exactly. Just wave your wand and you can do almost anything. Except conjure food. Or anything illegal."
As soon as he was done speaking, all the lights went out instantly. It confused him for a brief moment. Having been in the Wizard world for so long, he wasn't used to such things. Normally a spell would fix it, but he couldn't use one in the Muggle world. The Auror department would surely have his head. He heard Mason cursed and looked toward him in the dark. "Okay," he replied, slightly confused as Mason wandered to light some candles. He lit them one by one, leaving hte apartment lit just enough for them to see one another as he placed a candle between them. "It's fine," he said, "I know this might be... a bit out of place for me to ask. But do you need help with bills or anything? All you have to do is ask," he said softly.

Mason couldn't help the blush that formed on his cheeks. Nor could he stop smiling like a idiot after Sheldon kissed his cheek. "Well I guess thats fair though. We get so much for free with magic. Not everything should be free. I guess thats why I like the muggle world so much. Muggles have to struggle for the things they need which makes them a little less greedy than us." He said lightly.
Lighting so many candles always made Mason nervous. It would be easy to set his house on fire by knocking one over. Mason could feel the cold air from outside already seeping into the apartment. After all it was a old building. Mason was a little surprised by the question. He blinked and looked up at Sheldon. "It's fine." He said though he knew he was lying. "I mean....I struggle with my bills but I couldn't ask you to help me. You have your own place to take care of. I'm sure theres rent in the wizarding world too." He said almost sadly.
