Hecate was out patrolling out in hogsmead. She was stationed there to keep watch since students were going to be going through there this weekend due to the hogsmead weekend but she hoped that nothing bad would happen. She doubted that people or a single dark wizard would try to attack a village but then again each dark wizard didn't think exactly the same. She was not wearing her regular cloak, she was supposed to look like a civilian in regular clothing rather then cloaks to make sure her status would not be noticed.
She was wearing her faded black jeans, her old black converse and her tight teal tank top that had always been her favorite to wear regardless of how much attention she got from the men who looked at her. She knew what they wanted, they lusted after her but she had not interest in them, she could care less, she had enough stress in her life to not add a man in it right now. She had to save her Niece as well who was suffering. Her hair was put up in a pony and her wand was in her hands and she was twirling it but she never looked anywhere else but continued to watch the people coming and going. She was here to do an assassination, she hoped that no one would get in the way of it, she knew the person or people rather she was here for she just hoped that no one would get in the way of her job.

Jacoby had been stationed there, as well. Sent to Hogsmeade to keep an eye on the small Wizard town. As far as he knew, a few of them were there. But he couldn't point them out in a line up. He'd been an auror more than a few years, but he'd never been the social type. So he had trouble remembering all their faces and all their names. He'd been walking around, feigning interest in the shops. Though, if he were honest, he didn't really want to be there. In fact, he could think of many places he'd rather be. But he liked his job, and he wasn't going to complain no matter where he was told to go. Complaining wouldn't get him anywhere in life, he supposed.
Sure, he got a little brutally honest, but that wasn't necessarily complaining. He just had trouble keeping his mouth shut. Something most people who knew him well knew well enough. His eyes fell on Hecate as she walked past and remained on her. Though, probably for completely different reasons than most of the men around him. Though he hadn't admitted it quite yet, he was quite different from the Wizards beside him. He felt certain, however, that he'd seen her around the auror office. Hogsmeade was eerily quiet in those moments. Almost like the calm before a storm.
OOC: Haha, not my best reply, but I figure I'll get better once the action starts.

Hecate would stay here all day if she had to in order to wait for the wizard she was looking for would show up. He had been coming here more often which seemed odd, for the activities seemed odd to them as well, thats why she was sent out to look for this one, to bring him in and have him assassinated and destroyed or...as destroyed as one could. There were special forces just for this, deep within the ministry that they were pretty much the 'unspeakables' of the Aurors as well but not like those down in the Department of Mysteries.
She didn't mind being here, she didn't care otherwise she would do as she was told and go where they wanted her to go and do what they ask her under reasonability but other then that if it seemed unreasonable she wouldn't. She was a fighter and she would fight to the end if she had to and she would rather die in a good fight then die when not and this was what she wanted to do and was something that she loved to do as well.
She had started walking but eventually she felt someone behind her and she tensed, she didn't like being fallowed and her grip tightened around her wand. She glanced back at the person fallowing her and she took him in. Wasn't he from the ministry? In her department? She rolled her eyes but then paused for something didn't seem right, something seemed off.
OOC: Its ok

OOC: Haha, in my head he wasn't actually following her, but rather glancing as she walked past where he was standing. xD It's okay, though. I wasn't sure how to do this, that's why it took a minute.
His eyes were still on her as she glanced back at him. Her hand seemed to tighten around his wand. He couldn't blame her. His own hand would have done the same thing if he had sensed someone looking his way. He caught the eye roll and couldn't help but smirk as he looked away, eyes scanning the rest of Hogsmeade. Students were currently piling in. He really could have used a cigarette, but smoking around students was out of the question.
He gave a sigh, starting to walk away and toward the next Hogsmeade location to feign interest in something he actually had no interest in. But as he moved toward Hecate, about to pass her any time soon, he too paused and turned to glance around himself. Something definitely did seem off. The air seemed to shift as he waited for something to happen. On the bright side, he wasn't the only auror there. Not that he was too stoked about that (in fact, he had mixed opinions about the idea of having an auror help). He held his breath and waited for the worst.
OOC: I didn't know how to bring the dark wizard/s in. If you want me to, I can edit this post. If not, feel free to do it.

She was still freaked, she didn't like people behind her but then again....wasn't there always someone behind her? She couldn't prevent everyone from stopping being behind her but then again she didn't always feel like someone was stalking her. She then kept her eyes scanning around the place, she couldn't let her guard down, not when she was waiting for someone, the very person she was going to be taking in, then again...what if he brought more then just himself. She would be screwed either way and that would not be good at all since then she would be out numbered. This was the assignment that she was waiting for, for some time, she fallowed what had happened and the person she was hunting to bring back. She never suspected she would get the job.
She had no interest in shopping though she needed to get a few things but she was willing to wait till she got off of work to do so and that was what mattered. She was so involved in her work and saving Selene, that things in her personal life was nothing anymore. She was taking care of everything so extra shifts at work was a priority and she was so addicted to her job that she practically lived there. She would stop and stare at windows for shops, looking but not really looking at things anyway, since she was not buying anything. She pretended to look at the new quills that she didn't need trying to understand the feeling that she was getting and thats when she heard it, the large bang in the center of the Village and she took off in the direction as kids were screaming.
When she reached the spot, there was a crater in the middle of the street and there on the other side of the smoke and dust was the person she was looking for, the one she was to bring in. But he wasn't alone. Just like she suspected.
OOC: It's otay I understand. I know lol.

His eyes were still scanning the area as the students continued to pile in. He couldn't help but feel uneasy. He would later suppose that instinct had kicked in. His basic instincts were telling him that something was wrong. Perhaps it was simply the sight of another auror, or maybe it was the atmosphere around him as he began to move through Hogsmeade again, trailing behind Hecate though not intentionally following her. He was just contemplating stepping into a nearby shop when the commotion happened.
First, he heard the screams. The sound caused him to immediately halt, hand already reaching for his wand out of mere instinct alone. He was always on guard, and that would never change. He saw a group of students run by him, red, blue, yellow, and green flashing so quickly that he didn't have time to realize their size or age. He turned instantly, running in the direction they had come from. He had once joked with Jonathan that only an auror would run toward the danger, and he had no doubt that he was right.
He reached the spot only seconds after Hecate, stopping beside her, eyes on the crater that was in the middle of the street. Through all the smoke and dust it was hard for him to focus. He could barely make out two figures on the other side. He had his wand in his hand now, eyes squinting to make out the others. "Stay where you are!" he shouted, glancing toward the other auror. On the bright side, with two of them there it would be a fair battle. He had no idea what he was getting himself into, but Jacoby was impulsive and bold enough not to care.
OOC: Hope it works. ^^

Hecate was still watching the other but her focus was on something else, but she would continue to keep an idea where he was just out of old habit that she picked up from her Auror that trained her. 'Always keep an eye on those that you are suspicious of Hecate.' he would say to her. In her heart she knew that there was trouble among them and that was a problem and she had to make sure she kept the people here safe. She was going to keep an eye out of those that she needed to stop.
She watched the students run away from the issue and out of habit of her job, Aurors, no matter really who they were, always ran to the problem so that it can be stopped at the source so that no one else would get in the way. She had asked why that happened but then again the answer was what she now believed in now after the years that she spent at the ministry now days. Right then and there she was not worried about getting hurt herself but others that could get in the way that could get hurt and she was going to prevent that. Or at least try to. Hecate glanced over at the other as he stopped right beside her, glad for the company, but then again she was worried that he would get in the way but she shoved that aside.
"I would be careful if I were you. You don't know what your getting yourself in." Hecate hissed.
"How are you going to stop us Auror? There are more of us then there are of you two. Its 5 to 1." came a male voice, the one person that Hecate was after.
"We will take our chances. You know the Laws and your rights." Hecate said keeping her wand steady.
"'I have a right to remain silent, what I say can and will be used against me...' Yes I know the rights but then again, Coming quietly will be an issue." said the other.
OOC: Oh, its fine. I usually can work with just about anything.

I would be careful if I were you. The words resounded in Jacoby's ears. He couldn't help but smirk dangerously. Careful. He wasn't entirely sure he knew what that word meant. His life until that point had been nothing but risks. And it would be past that point, even. "An auror almost never knows," he mumbled just loud enough for the two of them to hear. He kept his focus on the situation at hand. The crater didn't exactly look safe, and whatever had happened, he felt almost certain someone was supposed to be hurt.
"Five to two," Jacoby corrected boldly. One might have blamed his youth (though he wasn't much younger than the Auror beside him) for his courage, but it was really just who he was. It wasn't even that he was brave, but rather that he was bold and abrasive. (And something of an adrenaline junkie, if he were to be entirely honest) He held his wand tightly at his side, waiting for them to make the first move. He glanced at Hecate curiously. It was clear that she knew something of what was going on. But he wouldn't ask. Not yet, anyway.

She waited wanting so badly to take out this wizard, to be able to bring him in and to finally sentence him. It would mean so much since they were tracking him for years now and this was her chance to finally take out this dark wizard and also to make sure no more wizarding families were destroyed because of him. She wasn't doing this for work at her 120 percent part of the reason she wanted to bring this one in was because of the fact that this man, he murdered her father six months ago forcing her mother to watch him not only kill him but torture him in the process. She hadn't told Selene yet which would break her heart. She glanced over at the other beside her and caught the smirk and she didn't have time to calculate why she had to remain focused.
"Don't we all know that in the field. Everything is dangerous we still should take caution with dealing with everything. Especially this." she whispered back to him taking a look at in the crater that was made in the center of the street.
She looked back at the other wizards the ones that were with him she noticed that they were all moving around and she didn't like that and some of the movements seemed to be them drawing out wands and that meant a fight. This never was good having a fight in the middle of a village like this and that usually meant more work in repair then anything else. She looked at the main figure again his wand drawn pointing at her.
"By the way, you missed. No one is dead you failed to kill anyone and what was the whole point of making such a big deal out of this? What was the point." Hecate shot back at him.
"The point was to draw you to me rather then me coming to you. It mattered not if anyone died, if they did it would be their loss. You are just like your father aren't you, Hecate. He never gave up in the fight and I see it in your eyes, you would never back down. You are his favorite Ipswitch child, the one who he mentioned before he died at my hand." he said.
"My father never deserved to die but you killed him anyway! You deserve the sentence they will give you not only for the death of my father but for the deaths of many innocent people. Your barking mad, I would give my last breath to bring you in. Your scum, thats what you are." she said snapping back.
"Cocky little things the pair of you. You think you can defeat me regardless of the numbers. I am scum? Your father was and anyone who comes after him are, you are pure blooded and yet your father was just as bad as I am. Shut up you you are just an extra that is in the way." he snarled and thats when Hecate noticed the wave of the wand and a jet of red light was coming and she blocked it before it could either of them.

Jacoby wanted to make sure they were taken in, too. Of course, not for the same reasons as Hecate. He was still young, however, and hadn't quite reached the point he'd reach in just a few months. For now, he was determined to make sure the wizarding world remained clean of people like them. Determined to make sure justice was always served. He had just as much training as Hecate, anyway. As far as he was concerned, two heads were better than one. There was some safety in numbers. Even though he was a bit of a loner, he believed that then. He hadn't grown to not believe it. Yet.
"Danger is the only thing an auror can ever expect with certainty," he replied back, words still only loud enough for the two of them to here, "Beyond that, are we not always ready for anything?" Because wizard criminals weren't the same as muggle criminals. When magic was involved, things changed. Granted, even muggles could be dangerous. But they were different types of danger.
He kept his eyes on the other wizards, noting how some of them seemed to pull out their wands. The gesture made him clutch his tighter, ready for the fight should there be one. He let Hecate do the talking. She seemed better at it than he was. They had definitely missed. Which he was grateful for. He didn't see any bodies. Which was a good thing. He addressed her by name. Which caused Jacoby to look at her, curiously. It was definitely personal, whatever it was.
Then she snapped back, revealing just how personal it was. Well, the fact that he'd killed someone just gave Jacoby even more incentive to make sure he was brought in. And as he stood there, it was clear that he was ready for it. "Know," Jacoby corrected. Just one word. He let the wizard finish ranting, hand still clutching his wand. The next thing happened so fast, he barely had time to react. He saw the red coming for them, but couldn't exactly tell who it was heading toward. Hecate reacted just fast enough to block it. And without another thought, he threw a binding spell in retaliation.
OOC: <.> Bah. I don't like the end. Oh well lol

Hecate glanced over at Jacoby before anything else, she thought that this could be ugly and she was glad for back up but then this was her battle, not his. She felt that he would just get in the way of everything, her duty that she had to do and the fact that he would be fighting something he didn't understand or the fact that this was very important to her. She was getting very protective of not only her family but Jacoby as well, which was weird to her because she didn't know him very well and she didn't want to, just yet. At the time, she was working a lot not wanting to have anything other then business partnership. All she wanted was to bring justice that was deserved to the wizarding world.
"Of course. Our lives, however, are always on the line because of the fact we are always faced with death and loss. We should always be prepared for anything and everything imaginable because that magic is unpredictable and dangerous." she commented back knowing that she decided to always put her life on the line for her loved ones and everyone else.
Hecate was pissed that the other had decided to do this, it was not professional but then again, when were dark wizards ever professional when it came to hurting someone. She was used to it and everything became personal when her father died at his hand and she didn't like him mentioning her family or even talking about them like crap. She may be a blood traitor to her family, well most of her family was except her brother and sister but then they were still loyal but the dark wizards didn't care. She had to remember not to listen to them for they were trying to distract them well her mainly.
"Well, well, well it looks like I am doing my job at pissing you off Hecate, your temper is just as bad as your fathers but you, unlike him, have control over your temper. It was a shame that he didn't join us, he was a good wizard, powerful." the other said just as the wizards around him laughed.
"Don't taunt him Jacoby, just don't. They are trying to taunt us themselves, its what they want." she said to Jacoby.
When Jacoby fired off a binding spell the wizard, named Vladimire, blocked and thats when the battle started and the other wizards around vladimire began throwing spells at them. Hecate sighed and started firing back and apperating behind each wizard and stunning them. But then she ended up facing one wizard who guessed her motive and they ended up dueling neither gaining any footing. She kept blocking and firing spells back too.
OOC: Its ok I understand

It might have been her battle, but Jacoby was stubborn as a mule. Defending people like this... well, it was his job. And sure, he had his secrets. The ones that haunted the back of his mind. But he tried his best to do his job during the day. Because in some twisted way he honestly believed it would make up for all the wrong he'd done already. "Exactly," Jacoby said, loud enough for the two of them to hear, but perhaps not the others, "So you must realize that I'm prepared for anything? Even if it's dangerous?"
Youth, maybe, made him stupid. But he was needlessly bold throughout his entire life. He couldn't imagine that every changing. And it would never change. Jacoby's attention turned to the wizard as he spoke to Hecate. His words confused him. This really did sound personal. He hoped she wouldn't let her emotions get in the way. Of course, he didn't know her well enough to know whether they would or wouldn't yet.
"Fine, I won't," he replied, eyeing her for a moment, "Let's just get them down," His spell was blocked and the battle started. Spells were flying fast. Well, wasn't this the kind of action he'd wanted when he signed up for this job? He'd never admit it but yes, it was. He threw up a shield, protecting himself from several spells as they spiraled toward him. Without hesitation, he sent out a few more binding spells, eyes moving to Hecate as she dueled another.
OOC: I feel like it sucks. :'D But it works, I think.

She was prepared and she was going to her damn best to do what she had to in order to get this done and over with. She had been chasing this wizard for some time now and she was so dedicated that she focused that she hardly ever went home, she lived in the office, doing paper work and then going out to do what she could. She rarely got sleep but when she did she only slept for a few hours so that her body could recuperate enough so she could continue on, once it was done, she wouldn't need to lose sleep over it but she would be dedicated none-the-less. She wasn't scared but she was scared for the other's lives that could be taken if they weren't careful and they were probably going to have a mess but that didn't matter at the time, she was willing to clean it up once this fight was over. "Thats what makes us dangerous and in danger all the time. Of course Why would I assume you wouldn't want that when your in the department." she said back as she gripped her wand. "Your nothing more then children, you know very little of what we could do to you. Prepare to die a painful retched death." said the man. Hecate wasn't apposed and wasn't to afraid but she knew her dad would want to find a way to get the man who had killed him and she was not doing this for the job but maybe her father but she guessed it was for both. She was ready to fight and if she lost her life she could freely admit that she had attempted to do the right thing in the end. This was going to be the end and either way she was going to be dead or she was going to bring him in for what he had done and watched him get the Demontor's kiss, she admitted that he deserved it. "Good. Lets." she said smiling wickedly as she was fully on the charge for what was in her heart and what was right. As she fought she could see the other wearing out as she tossed more and more spells at him till a stunner spell hit him and he collapsed on the floor and she turned facing another opponent which was inexperienced and fell flat within a few minutes of the duel and she was looking around for the man who killed her father and found him not far from her Auror Companion and that worried her. She shot a few stunners at the other wizards that were around jacoby and did a binding spell on those that weren't bound and ran and as she did she jumped and twisted in the air sending more stunners at the opponents who were about to charge at Jacoby. After she landed gracefully she turned and sent another stunner at the dark wizard that was behind her who was surprised. OOC: I hear ya. Whenever you want jacoby in that situation where hecate has to save him you can write it.
