Eclipse had been sent out on her own, this time without her teaching auror. Well the fact was she was sent cause this was a minor thing and didn't need a fully fledged Auror to go bring this case in. It didn't bother her, for it was more or less her first thing on her own that she didn't need supervision of an older more seasoned auror to keep an eye on her which she didn't mind either way either. She was happy to have this job though, it was what made her life worth living other then her Twin sister and her family really but this was something that she looked forward too as well. She was becoming very dedicated again and that was saying something.
She guessed that this was something that she had to take care of, not that it was a bad thing but sometimes, she just wished that she could go home at the right time but other times she could care less. She was after someone who had placed a spell on a muggle and thats why she was here, sometimes she wondered why they had to keep their life quiet, though other times it made sense. Thats when she saw the person she was after and she hid in the shadows, waiting and moving slowly forward till she was right next to him.

He was a little tipsy. He couldn't deny that. He had a few firewhiskeys in his system, but not as much as was usual for him. Even so, he still hadn't been entirely sure why he had ended up at the muggle mall of all places. It had seemed the place to go when he went there. He'd loved spending time at the way back home in Canada, and he'd been feeling awfully homesick the past few days. His brother had called him the previous day (they both had Muggle cell phones - after all, owls long distance weren't exactly probable) and told him he'd be coming over, but that didn't change the fact that he missed Canada.
He'd been singing a butchered, drunken version of Oh Canada when the Muggle bumped right into him. The guy didn't even bother saying he was sorry. Jayden hadn't been thinking when he'd whipped his wand out. The repercussions hadn't even crossed his mind. He'd pointed it at the guy and mumbled a quick spell. He only wanted to knock him over, show it how it felt to be knocked over. He didn't intend to break the law. He had just gotten down shouting "Watch where you're going!" when he backed right into someone. He turned to face her, apologizing and studying her for a moment. Certain he'd seen her somewhere before.
OOC: haha couldn't resist the Oh Canada bit. Always liked that anthem the best of all the best of all of them

She had been watching for some time now and wasn't fazed by what he was doing, why did everything not surprise her any more? Oh wait....she was used to the unexpected, though not all of it, but most of it. She gripped her wand just in case there may be a fight that was involved though her mission was to come and bring him in that was not hard but maybe it could be easy, but then again what may seem easy never really was. She kept silent thus far and was not going to be the one that did or say anything just yet, since when was the one that talked except when in training, usually, when it came to it, she was as silent as the shadow. She continued to do what she was doing.
Eclipse smiled to herself as she heard the song, though terrible, but she recognized the Anthem. She had heard it so many times when she had been in canada with the Gypsies that it was written in her mind and sometimes at night she would catch the lyrics in her mind. Ironic really but then again, not really, for she had to many memories in canada, some of them that should be gone or shouldn't even be there any more. She had let that part of her past go since she never would have met him again for the reasons she was always on the move, always leaving. She snickered slightly and shook her head, this was the usual. She couldn't help but have a longing, a longing of the past, the past that should be long gone and never revealed again. That, not to her knowledge, wouldn't be the case. When he backed up into her it wasn't anything she would have yelled at, she was used to it ever since she was little and taken away, it was common. She looked at his face after he turned and was slightly shocked at seeing who it was.
"Hello Jayden. Long time no see." she said to him as he looked at her. He wouldn't really remember who she was, at least until she spoke to him so he knew who she was which her voice wasn't so common in either the muggle or the wizarding world.
OOC: It made me laugh when I read it. I was like: 'Really?' It made it classic and more interesting at least. xD

She spoke then, addressing him by name. But wait, how did she even know his name? It didn't make sense. Sure, he'd felt certain he had, in fact, seen her somewhere before. But when he had firewhiskey in his system, he felt certain he knew most people. It certainly didn't always mean that he did. Nor did it mean he'd even seen them. She, however, definitely knew who he was. Which both confused and angered him at the same time. He found himself over thinking it, trying as hard as he could to remember her name or at least, where he'd seen her.
"How..." he began, but took an unnecessary pause after the word, unsure how he was going to finish the sentence. Finally, he continued, "How do you know my name?" he asked, almost demanded. Then, he suddenly realized just how rude the demanded sounded and instead asked, "Have we met?" It hadn't even crossed his mind that she was an auror. Though, it seemed likely considering she'd shown up out of nowhere and he'd just used magic. Memory charms would likely be used later, but he wasn't thinking of any of that.

She watched him looking at her and contemplating her. She didn't blame him, she knew that it would be hard to actually remember her due to the fact that it had been a while since they had seen each other. She, if in his same position, would do the same thing as him, stare and wonder who she was and stuff but then again it made sense to her. Many people that she had ran into would either have died or have had a memory charm put on them but then, with him she never thought to add either because to her, she didn't want to be the only one with the memories. She watched him pause a little in the sentence before answering.
"We have met a long time ago, Jayden. Back when I was in Canada my self. Yes we have but its been to long and I never thought I would ever actually see you again. You know you will have to come with me right?" she asked him though it would sound, coming from her, calmly but then again she had stiffened mentally.
She brushed her hair back and waited for him to comment back. She didn't want to really remember the details but then again, that would be the only thing that was made from this. She would have to bring him in and she would feel guilty about doing that though but it was her job. Her job was not the best thing when it came to running into people you knew or even cared a lot more about.

Jayden had met a lot of people in his life. He was very social. It kind of came with the trait. It was hard to remember all of them. Perhaps, at one point or another he would have been able to put faces to names, but some time between eighteen and twenty-one when he picked up the habit known as drinking, names and faces had started to become a blur. He placed less importance on remembering them, unless it was someone he knew he'd see a week from now. As a result, he could not recall who this woman in front of him was. No matter how far back he dug.
"I'm sorry," he said with a small, half smile, "I just don't remember you," At least he was honest about it. He knew some people who would laugh and smile and pretend they did remember the person. That bothered him. Honesty was important, wasn't it? Well, in cases like this, of course it was. "How long ago was this?" Since he grew up in Canada, he supposed it could have been as long as a decade ago. Or even more, really. Her next words wiped the smile off his face. He narrowed his eyes at her, suddenly remembering that he'd exposed magic in a Muggle mall. "You're an auror, aren't you?" he asked.

She hid her face slightly in thinking but then ran her hand through it ruffeling it to let the eucalyptus and peppermint scent that she used flow around her. She didn't mind that and it seemed to relax her more then anything and that was the point of it. She continued to watch his face, his expression to find any signs of hostility. She could share her memories with him if she so wished but she didn't want to intrude though she thought it could be a good thing for him to remember. She smiled the half smile that she reserved for only special occasions which was saying something.
"It's alright, sometimes it takes a bit for those to remember I can show you if you wish." she said lightly before walking up to him cautiously.
"It was about 4-6 years ago when I last saw you. I didn't want to leave you but then again, I had no choice in the matter for either I stayed and eventually was forced to destroy everything that I cared about and you or I left with erasing your memory. I didn't of course do either but I left without erasing.
She looked at him sadly knowing that she had to do her job but then she didn't want him hurt or even be thrown in Azkaban for fear that she would never see him again. Though she knew her emotions were getting in the way of her job, she had to do what was best for her world and keep it hidden.
"Lets take a walk before I answer that question. I will not hurt you but then if you attack me I will be forced to." she said.
'Yes, I am an Auror. You know the law but I want to hear your story first.' she said gently telepathically.

"Okay," he replied, equally as cautiously. He was still slightly tipsy from the booze he'd drank, but the possibility of her being an auror had sobered him up slightly. He was on edge now. Unable to place her face. Then again, there wasn't much he could remember about Canada any more. Only in his twenties, and already a large portion of that part of his life was a fog. He could remember Jordan, his mother, Hailey, and Chasity, and that was essentially it. "I'm not sure what you have to show me..."
He kept his eyes on her as she walked up to him, still talking. "Four to six years?" he asked, trying to do the math in his head. He couldn't even remember when Hailey had died more often than not, he didn't know why he thought he could figure out when he and this woman had known one another. "Left without erasing?" he chuckled, "Could have fooled me," he replied humorously, chuckling even more. He held his hands up in forfeit. "I'm harmless," he said. A lie, though he honestly believed it. He heard her words and narrowed his eyes, unsure whether she'd spoken or not. He didn't reply to them, for fear of being thought crazy if they hadn't come from her. "Let's walk," he said instead, though he'd probably be doing a bit more stumbling than walking.

She smiled, playing the usual game she did, the sweet girl that she could be, innocent and one who could be all yours but touch the wrong button and she could kill that person instantly. Though she had no intention of destroying anyone she just was playing the part that she was used to playing through the years when she was captured and that was something that came naturally. She wished it wouldn't but then, it was part of her life now and that would never change. She was like a beautiful flower that if a bee landed on it it would then not be something so beautiful but something dreadful like the venus fly trap.
"I have memories that I can freely let you see if you so want to, so you can remember me so you can finally remember who I am. But I have to ask you if you wish this, I can force the memories but I have no wish to do thus, for to me thats wrong." she said and now looking at him, she remembered the one song that she used to sing that she had always loved and would sing it when traveling and when she had met him, the song was 'Amaranth'.
"Yes, about that time. It was a time that I wish I didn't remember bits and parts of my life but then you were ones I wanted to keep. Others not so much. It has been a long time but then one day you will remember me. Yes, meaning taking the memories of the time I spent with you so you never would recall who I am even though you can't now but then, if you remembered me back then and tried to find me you would have been killed. No one is exactly harmless Jayden." she said.
"Your not crazy if your concerned about that. Everyone is crazy but those who don't admit they are, they usually are the ones crazier then those who really admit that they are. Alright then." she said.
"When I was younger I had visited canada with a crowd of people known as Gypsies. They were witches and wizards like you and I but they were mixed up with dark magic and there was a group of young children with them, I was among the few of the oldest out of the group. We were looking for a place to continue training. Though during the time I was with them, their training was more brutal and unorthodox they made us kill each other through torture and other horrible things by putting obstacles in our way and even mazes full of old curses. I was the last of the children to survive." she said slowly waiting for him to continue walking as she fiddled with the necklace she had found while in training with Jacoby.

Jayden was extremely confused, if not a bit afraid. He was still feeling slightly tipsy and as he stared at the auror before him, he couldn't help but wonder what the heck she was going on about. He knew he'd seen her before, but she was talking as though they were lifelong friends. Which wasn't possible. He'd remember her then, wouldn't he? "I don't know if I want to," he said, "I don't even know what kind of memories you're talking about," Well, he didn't.
"Well, I hope one day is soon," he said a bit cryptically, "because I am bloody freaking confused," he added honestly. He gave up trying to do the math. He gave up trying to figure out how he knew her. His mind wasn't thinking properly at the moment. He decided he'd do it later. If his brain could recall it when he was sober. "Not even you, I'm going to guess? Are you not harmless? Should I be afraid? Because it's sounding more and more like I should."
Jayden shrugged. Crazy was a subjective term. "Maybe," he said. Then, it occurred to him that he hadn't spoken his thought out loud and he paused in his steps. "I know you did it that time," he said, "How'd you do that?" he demanded. He started following her again, listening to her story. "Is any of this supposed to ring a bell?" he asked, "Because I still don't remember you. Nor do I remember anything like that ever happening in Canada. Maybe my memory was erased."

She saw the confusion and that was no surprise to her and she didn't blame him for being slightly confused, she would too if she was in his position and that wasn't the case that time. She just wanted to explain and help that was about it and she had to her job as well that was her concern and the fact that she also wanted to be gentle as well. She could see the tipsiness and the fact that she didn't want him to fall she grabbed his arm to keep him on his feet gently of course.
"Of course that is up to you I won't force you to see any of them except one and if thats to much i won't show any more then that one memory. Though the time spent was only brief that was it though I am sorry. Of course you don't even know. I can show you just the first time we met." she said with concern for him.
"I do not blame you for being confused. I would be too if someone I don't really recall showed up saying that they know you and that there was a connection but then I would want to know why too. Along with how as well." she said honestly but didn't state who she ran into that stated that to her at the moment.
"Possibly. I am not saying that I am harmless or not but I will put up a fight for those things I know and love and care about and fight for what is right. You should but shouldn't, you have yet to cause me harm and if you caused me harm I would be afraid. I am not going to hurt you unless you leave me no choice." she said fiddling with the necklace charm.
"Maybe, maybe not but then again everyone has secrets and some less then others for they have ways of showing those secrets. Did what this time? How did I do what exactly? Probably not but I thought I should explain first just in case. Do you honestly think that they would promote something like that around the world for what they were doing? No, they kept it so quiet that no one found out and there was a war between clans. I doubt that it has." she said turning around to look at him, scanning him like an xray though there was curiosity that made her want to enter his mind.

"One," he said, holding up two fingers. Upon realizing he'd held up two (the alcohol hadn't fully worn off yet, though he was far more sober than he had been when she'd initially confronted him), he lowered one so that he was holding up just his index finger, "One is all I ask. If it's too much, no more," he parroted, "But I want to know. Because I think I should be allowed to know," he rambled on, "The first time. That works."
He laughed. Well, at least she understood why he was confused. "Of course you would. I don't think I know a single person who wouldn't. I'm new to these lands, after all. Barely been here a month. I don't think I know hardly anyone in here," Saying it aloud made him slightly offbeat. He sighed, slouching a bit as he followed her. "Right. As you should. As an... auror, right? I won't cause you any harm," he vowed.
"I don't know," he said, brow furrowed, "Maybe I am crazy. It just... it seems that. Some of your replies are awfully convenient. To my thoughts. Though maybe it's just a coincidence," he suggested with a laugh, "I didn't think they'd promote it. It just seems... the media would have reported it. Unless there was a mass memory charm placed. Which, I suppose, is possible."
OOC: Haha, if you want to enter his mind, feel free. Just owl me to ask for details. Details from his past or something? Idk. Best way to do it might be to have me write out what's in his mind and you incorporate it. We can discuss through owl lol

She watched and she had an amused look on her face as he was trying to show her one finger and she was just slightly disappointed him too but then again she didn't blame him but sadly she did. It hurt her how much she did care about him even if he didn't remember the fact that she cared that he should be sober then again all she wanted to do was make sure that he was safe too. She had to and she also had to make sure he got to the ministry as well before he could cause to much trouble as well. She frowned at him and crossed her arms slightly across her chest.
"You will get one memory, it won't be to much to ask and if you want, eventually more, I would be more then willing to offer you that. You have every right to know and should be allowed that too. The first time. Alright." She said with a small smile.
"I know a few people who wouldn't be confused but yes I know how that goes especially when your new to this region and you don't know anyone either. I can show you around some time all you have to do is send me an owl. Well you know someone.Yes I should and yes. I hope not." she said watching him as was her training to do so.
"Not everyone knows. I doubt you are crazy, you just might feel that way because of loss or something else. Life is like that, it is full of craziness. Ah, those comments, well its easy for me. They would hide what they want to and the media wouldn't find out and we were very careful about what we did. it is possible. To answer your question about my replies is the fact that I am a telepath." she said.
OOC: I will have to Owl you :3
