The Yomiken or Under World Fist is the style of Hand to hand Combat Yami has designed over his years of Martial Arts training incorporating Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Chinese Kenpo, taekwondo, Kickboxing, Capoeira, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Savate, Judo, Hapkido, kendo, and Kobudo into a single deadly yet effective style. The technique when used, Yami will aim powerful and fast punches aimed towards certain areas on his enemy’s body. Yami aims for certain pressure points on the body around the spine and back of the neck that when struck increase the amount of pain the body uses. Yami can enhance the amount of pain being felt by adding a small amount of magic to his strikes or finger tips when he strikes or taps the points or certain nerve points increasing the pain the foe feels.
The technique once the pain receptors have been enhanced, Yami aims quick powerful crippling blows to his opponent, while aiming at certain pressure points to paralyse his opponent, bringing them to his mercy, where he can finish them with harsh blows to their internal organs. The technique receives its name from the mythological river of pain, for the enhancing of pain the foe feels as they fight Yami.
The more Yami uses his magic in his attacks the more he can increase the pain the user feels doubling it, tripling it or increasing the pain they feel by ten times. The increase of pain can make a simple tap of a finger feel as if ones bones are shattering at Yami’s touch.

Yami aims at the bones in the attempt that by breaking them, he hopes to have his opponents cry out in agonising pain every time he breaks a new bone.
The crying out gives the technique its name ‘River of Wailing’ from the Greek mythology as it was one of the five rivers of hell. Yami can re-enforce his hits with his magic and release his magic into his foes body to form cracks in their bones. The cracks in their bones will force their bones to break when the foe moves excessively ensuring their downfall and Yami’s victory.

The Kuushou or Empty Palm is the only mid range technique Yami possesses for his Yomiken. Yami will channel his magic into the palm of his hands and will perform either a path thrust in mid air or strike his foe directly. When Yami performs his palm thrust he will release his magic after moulding it to form a compressed vacuum like shell. The vacuum like shell will launch forward, usually aimed at the foes vitals. The shell of energy when it hits will not only cause physical damage to the outer body but Yami’s magic will travel into the foes body attacking the vital organs in the nearby area. The more magic Yami channels into his palms the stronger and larger the attack is.
Yami is capable of using this technique to shatter walls that get in his way or destroy nearby objects to ensure his opponent is unable to dodge his blows. Yami is capable of performing this with his feet by moulding his magic into the heels of his feet and kick mid air to fire the compressed shells. When Yami strikes his opponent directly with the compressed Vacuum shell, he is capable of ripping a hole right through their body.
The maximum range of this technique is five metres, after it hits the five metre range it erupts into a wave of magic, capable of blowing nearby enemies a few feet back.

Description The Hasangeki or Mountain Crusher technique is one of Yami’s more devastating and powerful techniques for his Yomiken. Yami will pour his magic into the palms of his hands. This technique is the big brother version of the Empty Palm. Yami will strike his opponent with twin open palm strikes and unleash the energy he has stored into his palms. The more wave length he channels into his palms the stronger the affect. When he releases his magic a powerful wave of magic energy will erupt from his palms encasing the foe sending them flying backwards. The magic enhances Yami’s strength allowing for Yami’s palm prints to be buried into the foes flesh, while his energy attacks their insides.
When struck by the full force of his strike, Yami’s attack is capable of reducing his opponent’s internal organs to a fine paste killing them. Even if he misses his attack creates a powerful shock wave blowing his foes away, with the force to shatter their bones.

His magic will throw their body completely out of whack making it so they lose control over all of their bodily motor functions.

Description The Kurohou or Dark Cannon is the advanced version of the Yomiken’s Kuroken the Dark Fist. Yami with this technique will channel his magic into the palms of both his hands. His magic will create a black fiery aurora around his hands. Yami using his enhanced speed will aim a double palm strike at his opponent in hopes of unleashing his magic throughout their body. Like the Kuroken his magic will attack their organs, nerve system and pressure points completely sending their body into disarray. The foe will be unable to control any of their body functions often resulting in throwing up, soiling one self and uncontrollable leaking of the tear ducts.
When Yami’s palms have connected as the magic is released through his foes body a huge shock wave will erupt from their back blowing the back of their clothes apart leaving a burn mark on their back. When connected at full force the foes entire body will feel as if they had been hit by a freight train. Yami’s magic will spread out affecting those in a two metre radius with effects similar to the Kuroken.

Description The Kiretsu the single speed based technique of the Yomiken. Yami with his enhanced speed is capable of pushing his muscles in his legs to concentrate all the power of his legs downwards into his feet. Yami will propel himself using his legs to kick off with excess force. This movement technique allows Yami to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps.
Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Kiretsu can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it for an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time. When Yami performs this technique a loud cracking noise like the sound of a whip being cracked echoes behind him. This movement technique is ideal for use in combat or for travelling over large distances.
