What is your position there? Head of Slytherin House and Head Teacher of the Teachings of Ancient Eastern magic
Why are you good at your job? Yami is skilled at his position for teaching "Ancient Eastern Style Magic' as he has studied and trained in the art his entire life. Yami has come to master many styles of Ancient Japanese magic as well as gaining the knowledge and expertise in other styles of Ancient Eastern Magic such as Ancient styles of Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Korean styles of magic, styles of magic long thought lost. Yami has been labelled by many as a ‘prodigy’ of Ancient magic capable of soaking any form of Ancient Magic up like a sponge soaks up water.
He is skilled in the ways and no them inside out and back, he understands the proper traditions and ways of training for each particular art, as well as respecting the ancient teachings. While he may not hold forms of expertise or mastery in some arts of the lost Eastern Magic he understands the basics behind many and can teach from the use of scrolls he keeps with him at all times.
Majority of Ancient Eastern Arts fuse weaponry with magical techniques a skill yami is most proficient in, holding Expertise, Mastery or basic skills in a range of weapons from traditional Japanese weapons to traditional weapons of China.
