0IV. hair He has dark hair - like most of the men in his family. He generally keeps his hair cut short and styled simply. There is seldom a strand out of place.
00V. eyes Marcus' eyes are just as dark as his hair, a very deep shade of brown. They are often only truth to his emotional deception. For whenever he fakes emotion, his eyes are often empty. One who knows him well enough, for this reason, can often tell the difference between fake and real by looking into his eyes.
0VI. unique features Marcus has a few scars on his body from random duels and fights he has been in throughout his life that he will willingly show if prompted to. He is, also, addicted to tattoos though with the way he dresses for the public, it can sometimes be hard to tell. He, also, has scars on his left shoulder and upper arm from his childhood dog.
VII. dressing style He changes his outfits constantly due to an obsession with remaining clean. He'll often change three or four times a day and is rarely seen wearing the same outfit twice. The way he dresses usually depends on the events he has planned. If he is going to a social event, he will dress in his best clothes. If he is going to Diagon Alley, he may be caught in jeans and a t-shirt. He is sometimes seen in his wizarding robes but only because he feels the style shows off his wealth.

0IV. boggart Marcus' greatest fear, perhaps, is of dogs. His boggart takes the form of an exceptionally large one with its teeth bared. To defeat it, he changes it to a cat.
00V. patronous Marcus' most cherished memory would be the first time he realized who he is. His patronus takes the form of a cheetah.
0VI. secrets Marcus, like both of his brothers, is a man of many secrets. One who knows him well might suppose that his entire life is filled with secrecy. His biggest secret, perhaps, is the fact that in some way inexplicable to him... he actually does care about his youngest brother. A fact he'd never let anyone know. Another, perhaps darker, secret involves his hobbies. He has taken a few lives and manages to barely slip past the Ministry's radar.

0IX. other Though he was good at pretending, Marcus was never really behaved in school. He earned head boy position in his seventh year, by behaving well in class. He is, also, a pyromaniac to some extent, though he'd never admit it openly. He would, also, never openly admit that through his first to third year he was bullied by other students (specifically of the Gryffindor and Slytherin houses, respectively) until he stood up to them and became the bully.
00X. overall personality Marcus can often have quite the temper. He is skilled at hiding it around people that he feels are important (specifically potential business clients and Ministry officials), however, around most other people he doesn't even take the time to bother. The smallest insult to his ego will often set him off. To those closest to him (most specifically, his family) he can often get violent. He has high expectations for those who carry the same name as him and therefore loses his temper with them much faster. He is a perfectionist and genuinely believes that there is a place for everything and that everything belongs in its place. Every single aspect of his life is kept organized - from his desk drawers (paper work in one drawer, quills and ink in another) to his library (organized by genre, author, then alphabetically). He is obsessed with cleanliness and is likely to snap at a maid if he sees a single speck of dust in his home.
Marcus is the least loyal Doom in the family. (Or, rather, the only non-loyal one that is still alive) He sees 'friends' as nothing more than pawns in his mind and finds them to be expendable. He quickly 'trades them in' for a new friend if the opportunity presents itself. He loves when things are chaotic and has been known to create arguments, fights, and disagreements when bored. He will spread rumors, tell lies, and spill secrets just to split up relationships, ruin friendships, or destroy marriages. He gets bored easily and will often do anything to cure that boredom. He has always placed a high value on intelligence, finding it to be more important than physical things. So, he has always been studious (a trait that often made Slytherins question his placement in the house, though the hat did not hesitate with him at all). His IQ is above average, but his physical strength is merely on par with it. His memory is good and he can often quote things that he read years before. Marcus is closed minded and can often be a bigot. He's not very accepting of those that are "different". (Especially where it concerns Muggle borns and scribes) He is rather demented and has certain hobbies that show it.

0VI. overall history Marcus was born to Elizabeth and Marcus Doom (sr). He was the first son born to the couple, born when the newly weds were right out of Hogwarts. When it was discovered that Elizabeth was pregnant with her first son, marriage was forced onto her and her then boyfriend by both of their parents. They married when she was five months into her pregnancy and Marcus Doom Jr was born four months later. Being the first born, Marcus was often spoiled and given whatever he wanted - when he wanted it. Though his parents were seldom around (for the first several years of his life he had a nanny), they lavished him in everything he desired as well as they could.
His brother, Jonathan, was born when Marcus was four years old. Marcus was jealous of the younger, realizing that not only his parents - but even the nanny - had taken to giving him more attention. It is often assumed that this was the start of their long lasting sibling rivalry (though Marcus doesn't seem to care either way). As Marcus grew older, the more spoiled he became. He demanded his parents to get him a dog when he was eight and they heeded to the command. Unfortunately, the dog was not very well trained as neither parent put much effort into him and Marcus was too young to know how. The dog bit Marcus one day when he got too close to the animals food and Marcus has been afraid of dogs since. The dog "disappeared" that night and Marcus rarely ever speaks of him. He has the scars from the attack on his left shoulder and upper left arm.
When Marcus was ten, he began requesting small pets. None of them seemed to last very long, though neither parent took notice. He'd ask for a new one on a monthly to bi-monthly basis, never giving any explanation as to what happened to the last one. The Doom family had trouble keeping nannies because of Marcus. He'd often make a point to be as terrible as he could to chase them away. By the time he was nine, he had decided that he preferred taking care of himself. And so, he would. He could often be found reading, playing the piano, or locked in his room doing Merlin only knows what. His youngest brother, Lloyd, was born when he was ten.
When he was eleven - as expected - he received his letter from Hogwarts. It came as no surprise when he was sorted into Slytherin as all the Doom men before him had been. While in school, he had very few friends and he was bullied excessively throughout his first three years of Hogwarts - a secret he never shares. During his fourth year, Jonathan started Hogwarts himself. The other was sorted into Hufflepuff, something that came as quite a surprise to those who knew the family. Marcus took the opportunity to pick on the other and soon he became the "bully" rather than the bullied. Nevertheless, he dedicated much of his Hogwarts time to studying and worked hard to earn good marks.
Shortly after finishing Hogwarts, his youngest brother was missing - and though he'd never admit having some kind of attachment to the other to anyone else, he (kind of, maybe) missed the other. It was Marcus who picked him up, and the money came from Marcus' bank account. A decision that angered his father, but he didn't care. Later that year, Marcus married his 'arranged bride', Cassandra Asger. The two did not particularly care for each other, but they married regardless and stayed married unhappily for years. It was no surprise when Jon was cut off and ended up marrying a Muggle, and Marcus doesn't speak of it often. He doesn't care much about the other, anyway, because of their difference in paternity. Cassandra met an unfortunate end when she was 25. The cause still hasn't been determined. Marcus' parents died shortly after, a year apart (when he was 26 and 27, respectively). Some people suspect "foul play", but it's thought to just be rumors. Marcus took over the company shortly after being the eldest heir. Likewise, he became Lloyd's guardian (though he had legally been such since he'd paid the ransom years before - by order of the Ministry, he was now his sole guardian).
