Horrible Reunion of Sorts (Selene, Airous)

"Exactly how are you going to stop me Selene and you boy? By using another Auror to come and arrest me is not going to be as easy as you think. By what means, without the help of another Auror, are you going to stop me now?" he asked with a sneer.

Markus was not threatened by the boy's approach to him he just smiled in the sinister way he always did with the gleam in his eye. He had known about all the new recruits and he knew his favorite daughter, Eclipse, was becoming an Auror just as well. He wondered how well that schedule really was going since it didn't seem like the boy or Selene really had any time together and that was always hard and would be hard.

"You are an Auror in training. The only time you will become a full Auror is when you are fully through with your training and you have been through all the tests that my bloody sister makes you go through. When, in your perfect Schedule, do either of you have time to yourselves as a family or together alone? I see the flaw in that and eventually that 'perfect family' will fall apart and no longer be. Oh, dear boy, my marriage isn't failed but I may have failed in raising three children not all eight of my children." He said with a snicker and a mocking tone in his voice. He wondered when Selene would pick up the fact that there was one more to the mix then the original seven.

"I have not physically attacked nor verbally abused any of you though Selene more then you or your precious disgraceful love child. That depends though on how much power you will have in the office in order to boot me out of the Law enforcement office, which is very little to none at all." he said with an amused look on his face though when he saw the boy take out his wand he instantly took out his own wand but he watched the boy shoot sparks up into the air and he growled and got into a position that was his attack mode.

"Under what circumstances are you arresting me for? Physical abuse? I have not touched a hair on any of your heads for that arrest. Emotional abuse? I think not for not much could be done for that but suspension. Any other abuse? Maybe depending on the abuse and the circumstances and all the pretty little stuff. My bloody sister is no better then the muddbloods in the Ministry or at this bloody school. My sister is nothing more or just as low as the muddbloods for the fact of a blood traitor and both of you are nothing better." He said and fired a spell.

"I could think of several reasons or ways to stop you Markus and some are not the best or the most wisest ideas in order to stop you. If we use another Auror or have another one come by does that mean anything? That we are better then you. It's easier then you think." she said angrily trying to keep it under control so she wouldn't hurt Willow.

She knew that look, it was the very same look that he used on her when he was about to beat her again and again and she was not comfortable with that specific look that he always reserved for her and was using it on Airous. How dare he use that look and she was not going to allow him to use that look, the look that she had grown so used to and knew something bad was going to happen. She could feel her body shift and she had no control, usually she did but when it came to those she loved she couldn't stop the change to her anamagi when she wanted to protect those she cared about but she was shoving it aside.

'Careful Airous. The look on his face is the one that indicated the start of a beating and they were never good.' I said worriedly.

"Hecate was always better then you, kinder and more loving then you could ever be. Does it matter right now in what we do? Just cause we don't always have the time doesn't mean that we don't try. We are at least trying to establish something that you never did. Three? You only failed in raising two if I recall Markus. There are only Seven, not Eight of us." she said angrily.

She watched her father carefully and got a worried look on her face knowing that her father would attack and it wouldn't be the best and she knew that it would end up being worse if he did. She stood up placing Willow next to their things and giving her a stuffed animal to play with which luckily she did and was ending up giggling at the toy.

"Don't you dare call Hecate a blood traitor. She at least stands by what she says and is a stronger and better person then what you ever will be. We are better, we are trying to make a better world then you ever gave me or what's going on in the world today." she said and then lunged foreword blocking the spell and turning into her animagus form pinning him to the ground.

[Jacoby Michaels]

It was a combination of pure luck and coincidence alone that Jacoby had been in Hogsmeade that day. Not off duty, per se, but with some time to kill regardless. It had been a slow day and so he had happened to actually take his break as soon as he was able. Which was a rarity for him. He was actually just about to apparate away, to head toward the Ministry again. He had just tossed his empty cup of coffee and was just about to leave, when his eyes caught sight of the sparks in the distance. They weren't far off. Airous had to have been at Hogwarts.

He let out a brief sigh. The two had worked the system out together. In case Airous needed the guidance, so he could get to him quickly. The system was a good idea, Jacoby could not deny that. And really, he didn't mind helping the other. The only thing he hated about it at that moment was the inability to apparate directly onto Hogwarts grounds. He let out another sigh and apparated as close to the school as he could.

It wasn't long before he made his way there, hurrying toward the courtyard where he had seen the signal emit from. The problem was clear instantly. There was Airous, there was one of the Professors (and, he supposed, Airous' wife), and there was another Auror. He couldn't recall his name. Markus, wasn't it? Either way, Jacoby had come just in time to see the spell. Instinctively, he threw a shield up in front of them, but it had been a moot point because Selene had blocked the spell herself, pinning the man to the ground in her animagus form. "What's going on?" he asked, eyes on Airous, wand still pointed.

[Airous Fai]

Airous didn't like how this man though him so weak and stupid. Hot furry bubbled deep in him but he had to hold it back. "It will be easy if you keep making a ass of yourself. You are a danger to the students here and not to mention your daughter, son in law and granddaughter. So arresting you will be no breeze. As for now I can't do anything unless you attack first. Self defense and all." He said with a grin.

Airous sighed and shock his head. "We aren't a perfect family." He said as his gaze went to Selene. They where soft as he spoke to Markus but kept his gaze at Selene instead. "Sure we don't get to see each other as much as we would like. But that's what happens when you raise kids. It will pay off in the end and I make sure we get out alone time that we desire so much." His gaze moved back to Markus. "That's what different about you and me. I try. You just piss people off." He said with a shrug.

"Yes you have. You threatened the life of my wife and child and me." He said with a sigh. "I don't want to boot you out of your position as a auror. I'm sure you've worked very hard to get where you are today. Though I don't appreciate you storming here and threatening us. It is something that a good auror does not do." Then Markus shot a spell at him. He couldn't breath suddenly as he froze, forgetting everything he had learned in a second. He never expected Markus to attack. Nor did he want to hurt the man. Then something flashed before him. Selene had blocked the spell and pinned Markus down, now in her wolf form.

Then another spell was thrown at them. This one a few seconds late as Jacoby came toward then. He sighed in relief of seeing the man. He pointed his wan at Markus as a gesture to who everyone was. "That's my wife's father. I don't know exactly why he's here but he made some threats to us. I know he's an auror and knew that it was against the manual to threat innocent people." He explained. "I didn't know what to do." He sighed. "And then you saw the spell he threw at us." Airous glanced over his shoulder to his what his daughter was doing. If she wasn't there maybe things would have been different. He wouldn't have called for Jacoby and probably would have beaten the man senseless.

"Oh? Is that so? Have I attacked any of the students here? I have not. That girl will never be my granddaughter. I have never, ever since Eclipse was captured, considered Selene my own daughter." he sneered.

Markus was not getting slightly annoyed and knew that he had to tread carefully for the fact that he knew somewhat of what Selene was capable of and that was something very dangerous when it came down to it. He snorted at what she had said before but knew that she was right. His sister was better then he could ever be and that was what was wrong with him, their parents always loved and cherished Hecate and never spent enough time with him and that might have been a reason to why he turned out the way he did.

"No, Selene, there are eight of you not seven three of which I failed to teach well enough and two of which are far beyond, or at least one is, your reach child. Hecate may be more caring more loving but I will say that I do not care how she treats you or anyone else for that matter for Hecate and I are in a parting of the ways. I will call my sister whatever I want and she is by all means a filthy traitor and she does not care about blood status like most of our family did. She may stand up for those reasons but they are all for a horrible reason." he said angrily back.

"We are different and family isn't supposed to be perfect but controlled and under one person, the male. Thats whats the problem with you two. How much do you truly know about me? Not enough I am guessing." he snickered darkly.

"I would like to see you try to but it was hard though it is close to time that listening to my sister is enough. Do you honestly believe that there are just good aurors? Not all of us are that good look at Tony for instance he isn't at all what he appears." he said and that was when he found himself pinned on the ground by the giant wolf which growled at him and he tried to shove it off to get back up to destroy the boy.

"What does it matter to you Jacoby? Going to go straight to my sister to tell her what happened? I am not scared of my own sister even though she is the head of the Auror department doesn't make me afraid of her." he growled and tried reaching for his wand which was knocked out of his hand when he was jumped.

Selene was unhappy with her father and how he was treating Airous. How dare her father do something like that and then claim to not want to have or take part in Willow's life who was everything to her and Airous and the fact that it made them closer in ways even if they weren't always having everything go the way they wanted.

"Thats what makes our love stronger then ever even though we are not perfect and we know that about each other and have that understanding thats all that matters. Though we don't always see eye to eye thats what is part of all relationships and sometimes that is what makes a relationship stronger and what brings us closer together. If we didn't fight sometimes then it wouldn't prove our love for each other." she said smiling lightly at Airous.

"I doubt that. You are just trying to say that so that I have more on my plate then what I already have Markus and that is nothing I can deal with at the moment because I have to much to worry about then to worry about the mistakes of your past." she hissed at her father.

'I didn't and couldn't see you attacked by my father Airous and I will not tolerate you getting hurt by his hand or anyone else's hands.' she whispered across Airous's mind.

When her father tried to push her off she growled at him not wanting him to even attempt to push her off when she was pissed off at him because she was angry at him because of the fact that he had tried to harm not only her but Airous and her daughter. She was not going to let him get off by this and she was not going to let him get away with everything by attempting to harm them.

'Shut it Markus, you have said enough to get you in more trouble then what you are already in. Continue to speak you will go further and further in your own dug grave that you keep digging for your self.' she shouted in her father's head and her ears went flat across her head and her lips pulled back flashing her teeth and snapped them at him near his neck.

'None of that now.' she growled and placed her teeth on his neck not going to kill him but to threaten him not to move and she held her mouth there and growled.

Dimitri was walking out into the courtyard and saw Selene, Airous, Willow and their father and one of the Aurors with his wand pointed. He became curious at what was going on and rushed over and checked if Willow was ok which she gave him a small smile and looked him and down and became curious with him. He ruffled her hair lightly before walking over to where Airous stood and looked at his sister, now in her animagus form, as she stood on top of their father angry.

"What's going on here exactly?" He asked looking from the Auror and Airous and then looked at Selene who didn't know yet that they were siblings but he was worried about her and wondered what their father did to get her this pissed. Dimitri knew Selene's history with their father but he wanted to know why their father was there to piss her off and, especially, in front of Willow.

[Jacoby Michaels]

Jacoby didn't move his wand as he turned to Airous, listening to his explanation. He had wanted to hear Airous most of all, after all. He was the only one Jacoby knew who was there and the one who had called him there. And being a fellow auror, his recount of the events were, as far as Jacoby was concerned, most important. "If he is not a professor or a visiting parent," Jacoby began, own wand still poised at the ready, emphasis on the visiting to indicate that he would need permission from the headmaster, "then he needs to leave. You're right, Fai," Jacoby said, "It is against the manual."

He gave the other a nod of approval as he added, "And auror or not, this is school grounds," he said matter-of-fact. Then, Markus himself was speaking. Jacoby scoffed in his direction. The man clearly didn't know him at all. "I'm going to make sure you leave Hogwarts grounds," Jacoby snapped, "Even if I have to escort you out myself," he added. He saw Markus reach for his wand, and positioned himself to attack should the other attack again.

He eyed Selene, watching as she went for his neck, still in wolf form. At least she had him restrained, it seemed. He didn't know how long it would last, but he knew that if it did come down to having to force Markus to leave she'd have to move. His eyes drifted to the newcomer. Another person he didn't know. A professor he guessed. Jacoby sighed. No explanation needed as far as he knew. After all, he didn't know that the new arrival was related to them. "We've got it under control," he said a bit forcefully, out of habit rather than anything else.

[Airous Fai]

Everything seemed to happen to fast. Selene was now on top of her father, baring her teeth at his neck. He knew that was only going to make things worse. "Selene....hun.... Step away from your father. I know your upset. I think the best thing to do is let Jacoby and I take him back to his work were he can spend the night like the rest of the criminals." He said is a soothing voice hoping she would listen. If she got hurt he wouldn't be able to live with himself.

Airous was happy when Jacoby agreed with him. Airous knew that attacking Selene's father, like he had wanted would have just ended badly for him as well. "I have permission to be here to have lunch with my wife." He said more to Markus than to Jacoby. "But after lunch my stay ends and I am not welcomed here, unless I'm called in with Jacoby as aurors," he said matter of faculty making sure to say that he had to be with Jacoby some he was still in training.

Markus glared at Selene and he tried to throw her off of him but it didn't work she wouldn't move and he wanted so much to force her off of him. He knew he cared about her deep down but in the end he really didn't want her to know how much he actually did care but he hated her as well. He tried to move his legs so that he could throw her off but she wouldn't let him and he was impressed that she wouldn't let him do stuff like he did.

"Get off of me you pain in the butt child. You were never good enough and now you won't listen. You never listened to me when you lived under my roof and you still won't I should have destroyed you when you were in my house." He growled at Selene pissed off.

"If I got permission or not it isn't up to you. I have every right to come here just like Hecate does, just like anyone else. And how exactly are you going to make me leave?" He growled at the man named Jacoby.

"I have every right to be one the school grounds to make sure the school is well protected. Just because I have orders to be here to check up on the school is none of your concern you will have to bring it up with my sister, Hecate, the head of the auror department. Exactly how are you going to make me leave? By force? That would be amusing." Markus snarled with the look Selene knew to well and it was one that she knew a beating was coming.

"Under control? The only person that has anything under control is Selene. Hello Dimitri. How has the orphanage been treating you when you came to school here? I am sorry I had to bring you there but then again there was no choice. There was no need for you, you were unexpected." he said in a sneer.

She had growled at him, she would not allow her biological father to harm her or her family, she wouldn't allow it any longer. He had abused her long enough, came here on the grounds before and had threatened Rayne when she was still here and she was not going to take his abusive nature any longer, not when her daughter was here. She knew what she was doing would only make matters more difficult but she had, had enough and it was about time she snapped at her father for what he had done.

'Airous...I am not going to let him go. I can't after what he had done and I don't want him to ever think he can lay hands on me or my family. He had abused me for far to long and him being here only reminds me of the pain that I had gone through every time he had hit me, and abused me. How do you expect me to release him when he did all that to me Airous? He had hurt me it's time he paid for what he had done to me and he deserves it.' she said anger was filled in her voice, not at Airous but for her father but she backed off and turned back to her regular form she looked exactly like Eclipse, only difference was the scar that was hidden under her hair.

"Don't you dare take that tone with me. I have had to deal with way to much from you in the past and i will not deal with it again not after what you had done to me and I will not let you do it to me or my family. As they say you are far from welcome here and as far as the headmaster or Hecate letting you come here is beyond me I know Hecate would never send you here." she said with hate.

"What do you have with Dimitri? Dimitri...what is he saying?" she asked Dimitri confused she had known him for a while and they had become good friends but she wondered why her father was saying this to him.

"If it was under control, Markus would be gone already, Selene wouldn't have lost her temper with her father and I wouldn't be standing here wondering what's going on. Though I will not be telling you how to do your job, that is not my place and Hecate would kill me if I tried to tell one of her aurors how to do their jobs. I am sorry for snapping though I am telling you the truth." Dimitri said the last part gently.

"Selene, listen to Airous, he has your best interest at heart and so do I. Why are you here Markus? To cause more problems for Selene? She already suffered enough by your hand and Hecate would not let you be here for she knows what you are like toward Selene." he said coldly and he glared at his father.

"Where you put me was far better treatment then what was expected Markus since no one wanted me. Selene....I will have to tell you later. This is not the time to tell you." he said to first markus then gently to selene.

[Jacoby Michaels]

Jacoby was quickly losing his patience. He wasn't a very patient man to begin with, and he was certain it was about to show. The only thing he wanted to do was get Markus off Hogwarts grounds and continue with his day. Hecate could deal with him after that. Beyond making sure no students were hurt, it wasn't his problem to handle. He didn't want to be mixed in... whatever the hell this family bull was. He didn't care who fathered whom, nor did he care about any dark histories. He had been called there by Airous. Airous obviously wanted the man off the grounds - therefore, obviously felt there was a need for him to be escorted away from the castle - and that was exactly what he planned on doing.

"Airous is right," he said, trying to sound as calm and collected as possible. A feat within itself considering his currently rising temper. "It'll be much easier to make sure he leaves if you don't have him pinned to the ground," And he felt it would. He listened as Airous spoke again, explaining why he was there. Jacoby gave no input. After all, why Airous was or wasn't there was none of his business. But nevertheless, he knew his wife worked at the school. And therefore supposed he had permission to be there.

"Hecate aside - and believe me, I will mention this to her later - if you were sent here to protect students, you're doing a pretty terrible job," he said, still attempting to seem as calm as possible, "Who are you going to protect by arguing with this professor and this Auror? Not a single person, that's who. You and I both know well how an Auror can make someone leave. And as far as I can see, there's two of us, one of you. Airous and I have asked you nicely to leave already. As far as I go, people only get one nice request from me," The look didn't scare Jacoby. He'd seen worse in his time. In fact, the only thing it brought from him was a snide snicker as he pointed his wand, waiting for Selene to move.

When she did, he was quick to move, barely listening as Selene spoke. A quick flick of his wrist and he shouted the spell, "Stupefy," already tired of the conversation at hand and the man's games. It wasn't until Dimitri spoke, addressing him, that his patience finally snapped like a rubber band being pulled too long. There was a small twitch in his stature as the spell flew. "I do not need you telling me how to do my job," he said coolly, "Nor do I need your opinion on the matter. I said we have it under control. Watch your tongue," well, at least he didn't say shut up like he wanted to, "You are not speaking the truth. Had I used a spell sooner, Selene might've been hit in the crossfire and then I would have been in trouble." The rest of what was spoken fell on deaf ears to Jacoby. He only hoped his spell would strike. And if it didn't, then by Merlin, he was going to throw another one.

[Airous Fai]

Airous raised a eyebrow at Markus. Something about him entertained Airous as he watched Selene dominant him. "If I lived with you I wouldn't listen to you either. You seem like the most annoying evil little man I have ever meet." He said with a shrug and a smirk. He was happy to see his wife in such action. She wasnt just concurring her abusive father but also the feelings she had been holding in about him for the past several years.

Selene had turned back to her human forum and Airous quickly closed the few feet between them, making sure that his body was in front of hers so if her father were to decide to attack her, he would have to get threw Airous first. He looked at Selene from behind him and whispered "let Jacoby and I handle this. I don't want him trying to hurt you."

When Markus addressed Jacoby, Airous turned to look at the man. Airous knew Jacoby wasn't patient. He was surprised Jacoby had stayed patient for so long. He watched Jacoby throw the spell not seeing the slight hesitation as he yelled at the other male in the group. "Markus you have overstayed your visit. " he said turning back to Selene's father.

Markus continued to glare at Selene and he was not scared that she growled at him. Yeah he knew that she was pissed at him and that she wanted him gone for good and that she wanted him to always be gone from her life. He knew the cause for that and he wished that he could let her know that he wanted to be a part of her life and that she knew how sorry he was for what he did to her. That wouldn’t work and he knew that. He knew that sooner or later he would pay a price by her hand for what he had done to her and did he blame her for such a thing? No he would kill his father if he got the same abuse as he gave Selene.

He watched her change and he was in aww. Selene was still the beautiful little girl, the little girl that he had hurt so long ago and that he should have never treated her like that. His own daughter was gorgeous every time he laid eyes on her and how could he have harmed such a person as her? He regretted every minute that he had harmed her now, every moment he had made her life a living hell and he wish he hadn’t for that ruined everything he could have had, everything he could have had as a good father for Selene but he ruined it by the beatings.

“I will take the tone with my own daughter if I want to and as a matter of fact you are my daughter so I will talk to you as I please, sorry to say it Selene but it’s true. Stop feeling sorry for yourself for what you brought on your own, you should have known better but you did nothing to stop it from coming. Is that so? I can hunt you down like a trapped animal and destroy you like I did when you were younger. What goes on between Hecate, the Headmaster and I is none of your concern Selene, as far as you know they could have allowed it.” He sneered at her.

He listened to Dimitri talk. He knew that it would be the wrong thing to say, he was saying things and he didn’t know a lot about the department that he along with the other two were apart of. He chuckled slightly and smiled at Selene and he was still surprised that she hadn’t found out that Dimitri was her brother yet.

“That’s all you know Dimitri. You better not push your luck with this lot. You haven’t told her about who you are Dimitri? Why not? Ashamed of who you are and who sired you? I am here to talk to Selene and meet my granddaughter that’s why I am here along with seeing my son in law. That is between Selene and I and her family, not you.” he taunted to his son.

He sneered at Jacoby, watching the man’s face and seeing the patience quickly slipping. He had always known how to make people lose patience and that was his specialty in and of itself for that was how he had captured several dark wizards in his time and still did. He had no wish to continue with the family history or the long line of darkness that trailed in and easily woven itself in the family tree for that was not the case at the time being he knew what had to be done but what was the point other then trying to take on four people at once, that would be a small challenge. He said nothing though he wanted to slide a comment here on his own behalf but that would continue to push the other which was also the point to him.

“I know my own sister better then you could ever understand. Though I don’t doubt that you will do your job thorough though. What I was sent her or by my sister or not is not your concern. That is for me to know, and you to find out. Really? Oh I know very well how an Auror can. That is asking quiet a lot from an impatient Auror. If your planning on scaring me you are doing a terrible job at that.” He leered at the other.

“A good well behaved child would have listened to their father, the person that is supposed to raise them and to give the punishments out to them if they misbehaved at all. We all have our own Evils isn’t that right Selene?” he smirked but shrugged off the ‘annoying evil little man’ part just as the spell hit him.
