The park was mostly clear of Muggles, being that it was the middle of the night. Not a single sound could be heard around them. He had picked a location as far away from the few Muggles that were there (mostly teenagers who should not have been there in the first place) as possible. Lloyd hadn't been on many picnics, but it seemed a good option. It meant they could truly be alone, while being out of the house. He couldn't deny that he was growing tired of staying in Jon's guest room. Being there instead of the Doom home stressed him out more than he would ever care to show. He needed some time away. More specifically, he needed time alone with Danni.
He held her hand as he led her to the spot, stopping some feet away from a tall tree that surely would have provided adequate shade during the day. There was the faint sound of others leaving in the distance, but as soon as they were gone it was quiet once more. "I figured this spot would be perfect," he said, smile on his face as he glanced around at the view. He quickly set up the picnic, having been holding both blanket and basket in his free hand. Without a seconds thought, he sat down, gesturing for her to do the same. He was thrilled for the date, happy that they were finally able to get time to themselves.
OOC: So, I struggled to get it going. Starter posts have always been a weakness... lol I hope it works. Also, hope you don't mind that I god modded just a bit. If you need me to change that, just say the word. It was just hard to avoid it considering they would have arrived together.

Danni smiled as Lloyd lead her threw the park. She had been surprised when he asked if they could go on a date to the park. It wasn't like him to chose a muggle spot. Danni was excited to be out of the house. With school started it seemed that she was either stuck in the dorm of Hogwarts or in Jon's guest room. To be able to get out with Lloyd was a treat.
Danni smiled when they stopped near a tree and he laid down the blanket. She sat down next to him and leant back into his arms, sighing deeply. There wasn't many muggles out. She had only seen two misbehaving teens but Lloyd had found a spot far away from them. "I like it." she said looking up at the stars.

As Lloyd sat down and stared at Danni, smile on his face, he recalled something Jon had said a long time ago about spontaneity. He couldn't remember his exact words, just that he'd said that whether people wanted to admit it or not, people liked when others were spontaneous. Choosing such a location and bringing it up out of the blue had definitely been spontaneous on Lloyd's part. In perfect honesty, as much as he loathed Muggles, he couldn't deny that he wanted to be away from witches and wizards. That said, he didn't much care for being around Muggles, either. So, midnight had seemed like the perfect hour.
"I'm glad you do," he told her, glancing at the stars himself. Not a single cloud to obscure the view. It was as though every star they could see from where they were was visible that night. "I figured we would enjoy the peace and quiet," he said, opening the basket as he spoke the words, "Jon's house isn't exactly a silent place," he added with a small chuckle. It was true. When the kids weren't up and playing, Alissa and Jon were arguing, or Jon and Jacoby were rambling loudly, or the dogs were making a ruckus. Lloyd pulled his wand out and gave it a gentle wave, setting up all the food he'd packed. Fruit, vegetables, wraps, among others. And a jar of Nutella that he'd stolen from Jonathan especially for her. He wrapped his arms around her as she leaned into them, giving her a kiss on the head. "And I also wanted you to myself," he teased gently.

Danni was already enjoying the peace. She nodded in agreement with him. She watched as he flicked his wand and set up all the food her had packed. "well I'm impressed Mr. Doom." she said with a smile. She took the jar of Nutella and opened it just to stick the tip of her finger in it and hold it to her lips "and so is Lloyd jr." she said happy to have something she craved to herself. Jon's kids didn't like it when Danni at the jar of creamy goodness since she usually ate the whole jar in one setting.
Danni felt as if the smile on her face could only get bigger as he kissed her forehead. "I've always just been yours." she joked with him but she knew what he had meant. If she wasn't at school she was at Jon's doing homework. Or at Hogesmade with friends. It never seemed as if they had time to see each other alone anymore. Someone was always with them.

"I am glad that you are," Lloyd replied, smirk on his face. He watched as she reached for the Nutella, opening it and instantly sticking the tip of her finger in it. He grinned widely at her next comment, "I thought Lloyd Jr would like that," he told her, eyes on the Nutella, "It was hard sneaking it out of the house. It seems like someone is always awake," he added with a laugh. He was sure the jar would be gone before the night was done, and someone would soon notice it missing, but he also knew that Jon and Alissa would understand the pregnancy cravings better than anyone.
"I know that you have," Lloyd told her, pulling her close to him, "Life just seems a bit fast paced now. With you in your seventh year of Hogwarts. I remember how they like piling down the work. And of course, we seldom get alone time at the house. If Alissa and the kids aren't there, Jon and Jacoby are. If they're not, Alissa and the kids are. I've been craving this alone time for a while," he told her, leaning in to kiss her after he spoke the words. It truly was as though someone was always around. Ironically, the only time the house was empty was when Danni was at school. Sometimes, he was convinced they did it on purpose. (Though, with Jon teaching, it was likely just mere coincidence)

Danni nodded. "their kids love this stuff. I swear someone sprinkles crack into it." she joked as she dipped her finger in the jar again, taking the small bites. "I've started to think that I'm not pregnant with a boy but a fully load belly of nutella." she joked though the baby did seem to ask for peanut butter more. Danni just didn't feel like puking all the time afterwards. "you better eat some before it's all gone." she said offering him the jar.
Danni smiled and kissed him back. She couldn't help but relax in his arms. "I have been too. I wish we got more time like this. Soon the baby will be here and it'll be harder to be alone with all the crying." she said gently. She picked a strawberry up and dipped it in the jar of nutella before eating it. She always craved food around midnight.

Lloyd laughed when she said there must be crack in nutella. It certainly did seem that a lot of people were addicted to it upon trying it. "Maybe someone does," Lloyd joked, laughing when she suggested that she was pregnant with a belly full of Nutella. "Wouldn't that stump the healers? If they found nutella in there when you go into labor?" he chuckled, and when she offered the jar, stuck his own finger in, licking the nutella off instantly. "Eat as much as you want," he said, "I brought it especially for you and the baby,"
Lloyd let out a sigh of content as Danni relaxed in his arms. "I wish we could, too," he said quietly, "It'll be great having a baby around, I'm sure. But It will definitely be harder to find time to ourselves," he added. He smiled as she reached for a strawberry, reaching for one himself. He bit into his just as she dipped hers into the jar. "We should enjoy time like this as often as we can right now," he said with a smile.

Danni laughed lightly with Lloyd. "it would stump the healers. Though I would much prefer and baby then a lump of nutella." she said with a smile. At him next words Danni frowned seriously. "are you trying to make me fat?" she asked but couldn't keep a straight face in the end and started to laugh. She kissed his cheek happily. "your the best boyfriend a pregnant girl could ask for." she said as she bit into the strawberry in her hand.
Danni liked how quite the park was. She had been here often at midnight when she had been more immature. "I'm happy to settle down though." she said honestly. "people think I'm crazy for saying that but I've done so much that this just feels right to settle down and start a family." she said looking up at him. "I can't go past the muggle mall. They don't call me Danni downtown." she said with a light laugh almost to herself. "at least now I don't have to go downtown anymore. I'll be to busy."

"It most certainly would," Lloyd replied, "Especially the ones who do not even know what it is," he snickered, dipping his own half eaten strawberry in the nutella before taking another bite. "I myself cannot even believe that I'm eating it right now. Marcus nor my parents would have ever allowed it in our house. Hell, it was very rare that we even had chocolate growing up," he said with a light chuckle. He heard her question, but noted how she couldn't keep her face straight. He straightened his as well as he could when he said, "No!" but he couldn't help but crack a smile, too. "Thank you," he said, "You're the best girlfriend one like myself could ask for," he added.
"I don't know why people think we're crazy for it," Lloyd said quietly, "It just feels so natural to me. I'm happy with it, too," he added. Lloyd looked at her curiously at her words, wondering exactly what she meant by them. He twisted his face into confusion, unable to hide the curiosity that was tugging at him. "What do you mean by that?" he asked, "What do they call you?" he continued.

Danni followed his lead and dipped her half strawberry back in the jar before eating the rest of it. "what about for birthdays and stuff?" she asked. Danni didn't know a lot about his parents nor how Marcus raised him but she could see them being strict. "I don't think you should eat it all the time but a little never killed anyone." she said with a grin "though i'm not one to speak since this seems to be all the baby wants all the time." Danni laughed when he told her no and smiled when he had said that she was the best girlfriend as well.
Danni hadn't realized exactly what she had said to Lloyd. She watched as his face twisted in confusion and he asked two questions. She sat up slightly and sighed "I've never told anyone this." she said hesitantly "but the second time I ran away i got into some trouble with muggles. They call me the killer downtown for a reason." she said with a shrug.

Lloyd leaned back slightly, arms still around Danni as he thought about how to answer he question. He smiled slightly, remembering just how strict his family had been growing up. He supposed his mother wasn't necessarily, but she had always followed their fathers lead. "We didn't celebrate birthdays," he said honestly, chuckling as he added, "Or stuff. And when we did, it was more for show than anything. So, not even," he told her with a shrug. Lloyd chuckled again, "Never killed anyone, I'm sure. But try convincing Marcus that it never has. Anyway, the baby can have whatever he wants. At least he clearly has excellent taste,"
Lloyd stared at Danni as he waited for her to answer. When she said that she'd never told anyone, his eyes narrowed in more confusion. Her next words confused him again. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of them, though he had a slight idea. Head tilted, he spoke again, "The killer?" he repeated, "Why do they call you that?" he wondered, "What kind of trouble did you get into?" he asked. He thought about it for a minute, wondering if the questions would be too personal. Unsure of what kind of answers to expect. He couldn't stop himself from being curious, though. Curiosity seemed to be a shared trait between his brothers. "I have to admit, the killer is a pretty... interesting nickname to have," he admitted.

"not even for birthdays?" she said as her eyes went wide. "well that's not going to happen with our baby." she warned "at least birthdays. I don't care much for holidays. But birthdays are suppose to be special." she said with a shrug. Then narrowed her eyes "though we shouldn't over do it. My parents give my sister whatever she wants for her birthday." she sighed and smiled back up at him "he does doesnt her." she said and rubbed her stomach.
Danni wasn't quite sure she wanted to talk about this. It was something that she had hidden from everyone even her parents. The minstery didn't even know. She sighed listing to Lloyd. It was to late now she knew he would want to know more. She already had opened her mouth. "well.....when I was homeless I was taken in by a muggle family since I was only twelve. They where gang members. I've done some things that I'm not so proud of."
At his next question about her nickname she smirked "I use to street race on motor bikes for money. I only lost one race before. Most of the races I was in where deadly so the muggle mom that had taken me in started to call me the killer at races." she shrugged "it just kinda stuck."

Lloyd noticed her eyes go wide and laughed lightly. He hadn't really never thought much of not celebrating anything. You could not miss something that you never had, after all. "Not even birthdays," Lloyd repeated, "My parents saw them as wasteful," he told her, "Marcus does, too, really. Quite ironic when you think about it. All the money we have and the think birthdays are a waste of it," he snickered and gave a shrug, "It never bothered me, to be honest. Never thought I was missing out or anything," he added before saying, "If you want him to celebrate birthdays with him, we will," He nodded at her next words, saying simply, "Yes, he does."
He stared at her as he waited for her answer. He wasn't sure what she was about to tell him, and wasn't sure what he'd think about it. He narrowed his eyes as she began speaking, mentioning a Muggle family. He tilted his head at the mention of gangs. "Muggle gangs," he mused to himself. What little he knew of them had come from the ramblings of his parents and Marcus. And none of it was good. Needless to say, he wasn't sure what to say about it. "What kind of things?" he asked. Lloyd chuckled when she spoke about street racing. He shook his head, more to himself than to her. Muggles certainly did have strange activities. "Well, that's better than the reason I thought the nickname had been given," he joked gently, "Still couldn't have seen that coming. Street racing? I've only ever heard of it. Never knew that Muggles really did it."

Danni smiled when he said that they could celebrate birthdays with the baby. She missed his cheek in thanks excitingly. "it's shocking to me to think that you've never have had a birthday." she smirked "we'll have to change that." she said stubbornly and determined. Danni sat the jar of Nutella and reached for a wrap. "you really went all the way with this picnic." she said eyeing him.
Danni had known that he might have had no clue what she was talking about or at least not known much about it. "yes muggles really street race." she said with a amused grin on her face. "that's just how the nickname started." she said and looked up him worried about what she was about to say. "Lloyd, I'm not as innocent as you think I am." she said gently "I have blood on my hands too. I guess it's the only reason why I don't do anything about Marcus's issues, because I've been there." she said gently "though for the record they where muggles." she said and took a bit out of the wrap in her hands.

He grinned when she kissed his cheek, returning it with a quick kiss of his own to hers. He supposed it wouldn't matter whether they celebrated birthdays or not. In the end, either way, he'd make sure the child knew that he was well loved. Something his own parents had never done. "Why's it so shocking?" he asked, slightly amused, "Look at my family. My parents were hardly ever home, Marcus definitely isn't the party throwing type - unless it's to meet or mingle with business clients - and Jonathan was always too busy doing his own thing. Besides, honestly, I never felt cheated," he said with a light chuckle, "Nor am I too worried about it," he added, being honest. The way he was raised, it was just another day. "I wanted it to be perfect," he said in regards to the picnic.
He tilted his head, eyes showing the confusion he felt toward street racing. Before he'd met Danni, he'd never even been in a vehicle - barring the Hogwarts Express, which didn't count when one really thought about it. Before her, he'd only had stories to work with. "Why?" he asked, genuinely wanting to know, "What's there to gain?" he wondered. Of course, someone with his upbringing would ask such a question. He heard her words about innocence and his eyes found hers. He wondered what she was about to tell him, but was too afraid to speak between her thoughts. Then, he heard her next words. I have blood on my hands, too. "You do?" he asked, certain he wasn't having the reaction she expected him to. He wasn't freaking out or panicking, anyway. "Muggles don't matter much anyway," he said lightly. How could he not see it that way? All his life he'd been told they were less than human. "I must admit, though, I am curious. Was this when you were with them, too? The... gang members?" he asked.
