Eclipse was sitting at the Leaky cauldron thinking. She had been ready to become an Auror and she still wanted to but she didn't tell her sister that when she was younger, when she was kidnapped, she had dabbed into the dark arts. She had always been fascinated in the darkness but she was scared of falling for it too. She was still trying to figure out which was best for her, which way was right, and which way was wrong. She knew Selene would be hurt but she also knew that She wouldn't hurt Selene, Airous or Willow, she loved them to much and couldn't picture a life without them but the dark arts was always what she had wanted to know about. She knew that she had the training to defeat the dark witches and wizards but she didn't know what to think.
She still wanted to become an Auror though and she would be a double agent, just like Severus Snape was and she would Fight for the dark but also make sure that she would capture and bring to the wizard prison the wizards she caught. She didn't know, she had so much she had to do in order to choose. She just hadn't made her own personal choice in which way was right for her. That's when she felt a presence and saw the door open to the bar and looked up.

Danni was at school, Marcus had granted Lloyd the rare day off, and no one was at the house to keep him company. Not that he desired the company of anyone other than Danni that might be there. He merely tolerated Jonathan and he didn't fancy Jacoby or Alissa at all. With nothing else to do, he'd ended up in Diagon Alley doing minimal shopping for his brother. The typical things they needed for their offices. Quill, parchment, ink. But he still had time to kill. He was beginning to regret taking the day off. Even as he walked through Diagon, he wondered if it would be a good idea to show up anyway. Apparition there wouldn't be hard at all. But he knew that if he did, Marcus would not give him another day off in a long time. And he liked the idea of being able to spend time with Danni when her classes were done.
He ended up pulling the door to the Leaky Cauldron open. He noticed the witch glance his way as he stepped into the pub. He made his way to the bar, ordering a butterbeer as soon as he sat down. He didn't want to order anything stronger. He wanted to be sober that night. Not that Lloyd was one to partake in drinking often, anyway. Though he'd likely never admit it, Danni was probably right when she said she could out drink him. After taking a sip of the butterbeer, he asked of the other, "Is there a reason you looked up when I entered?"
OOC: Feels a bit forced. Had trouble thinking of a way to get him to speak, sorry about that, lol Need any changes, say the word.

Eclipse twirled her glass in her hands but kept a close eye on the, now, sitting man beside her. She was so finicky about things now days because of her memories with the Gypsies that she didn't trust anyone, other then her sister, her half sister, Airous, Willow and Hecate and those were the few people that she could actually trust anyway. She never did trust anyone else in the whole group because she feared to be attacked if anyone found out that she was relapsing into her old ways while growing up and she knew that it was a horrible situation to go back to what she was.
She knew that she would never change and that there was a part of her, always a part of her, that nagged her for laying back and waiting to take over. She didn't like the fact that Luna was doing all of this but she knew that once the girl failed, she would be able to continue where the girl left off but not for the stone, never for the stone. The stone never interested her though it could, only if one wanted to count on something so small, give the drinker immortality but she didn't want that form, she didn't want to rely on a stone which could fail her.
She knew that all the training that she had done she could easily destroy Luna but why would she want to do that yet? An attack would be to obvious and her sister and Airous would be the one to blame for it and they would be hunted down like animals but she was going to wait, she was willing and able to wait for the correct time to kill and she would but she would have to be careful in how she killed Luna too. Her sister was bound to Ariel and in killing Ariel, even by accident, would kill Selene and that would be the worst part of the job to do and she wouldn't put Airous or Willow through that.
"There is always a reason to look up when someone enters though you have a nature about you that I sense easily and it rolls off of you like cold, dark waves of ice cold flames. But yes there is a good reason why I looked up when you came in, it's your mind that made me wonder about you." she said looking at him fully.
OOC: It's ok. I have been having a hard time typing up anything as of late case I have no muse to write much of anything. Plus I can normally work with any type of post no matter how big or small.

Lloyd took another drink of butterbeer, eyes regarding the occupants of the pub. There weren't many of them currently, as far as he could see. He supposed it was largely due to the time of the day. He sighed, mind drifting idly as he almost forgot he'd spoken to the woman next to him at all. He picked up a few random emotions, none that he could place. But it was easier for him to ignore them those days. Unless he wanted to zone in on them. Eclipse spoke, breaking his train of thought. He glanced in her direction once more, eyes regarding her with a slight indifference. "There is?" he asked. As one who tended to be quite reserved, he could easily disagree.
"Explain this nature," he said, eyes drifting away. He kept one hand on the glass in front of him, the other flat on the bar, mind thinking about her words for a brief moment. Cold, dark waves. It was certainly an interesting choice of words, if not very honest ones. He looked up at her again when she said that it was his mind. Eyes pressed in confusion, he asked, "What about my mind?"

She fiddled with the necklace that she wore around her neck. It was the pendant that she had retrieved in the old place where she had grown up and it was a silver coin like pendant on a leather cord where on both sides was the eye of the wolf and on the other side was the tree of life. She had been given this before she was going to leave back to Hogwarts but before she was about to leave, the place was raided and she was forced to leave everything behind even the necklace. She had no choice but when she had gone there with Jacoby she had found it once more and when she had picked it up it made a sonic sound, that only she could hear as if it recognized her after so many years.
"Yes, at least for me there is when I can feel your energy. You may disagree with me about that but in all regards, it's easy to not really know what may be the reason of looking up when you came through the door." she said and took a drink of her own drink.
"You have a different nature then a lot of people. Such as your quiet, reserved but there is something about you that you keep hidden, something that feels slightly dark but loyal to those you love and care about. You view that there needs to be a change, a difference in the world then there is already. You think 'she' can bring us to a different point in this world. Do you think it's right?" she asked referring to Luna.
"Your mind speaks volumes in which you verbally don't. People don't realize that what they think, say and do are different then what you may know. People have deep secrets but you...I sense something that seems....like there may be questions or concerns or even other things in which case I won't pry into your mind unless I have to." she said looking up at him with a small grin.

His eyes drifted idly to the pendant she was fiddling with. Curiosity got the better of him for a moment, but her next words broke him from his thoughts. "You can feel my energy, then?" he asked curiously. He supposed, in some ways, he could, too. Well, he could feel their emotions. Which was similar (yet very, very different he thought). Still, it didn't cause them to glance their way. In fact, he tried his best to ignore it. "So, you don't know?" he asked, slightly perplexed by her words as he took another sip of his drink.
"A different nature," he mused to himself. Then, he asked, "What exactly are you capable of?", obviously referring to the fact that she had him figured out already and he'd barely said enough to give any kind of indicator of the type of person he was. After all, he was dangerously loyal to those he loved. He'd do anything to protect them, even if it meant risking his own life. "I suppose, I think she can," he said, twirling his finger over his glass. But talking about it in too much depth was dangerous there, wasn't it? They'd have to walk around it. Carefully choose their words. "There may be," he told her.
OOC: Bit strained. Hope it's okay. Muse for Lloyd is low, so it's taking a bit.

"Yes I can it's something that I have had to learn in order to survive and in order to survive I had to learn to see who I could trust and who I couldn't and that was checking out the person's energy. Don't know? That depends what I don't know." she said smiling at the thought cause she could know everything down to the little nitty gritty details of his life if she so chose but she didn't want to.
"Well I am capable of several things and none of them are very pleasent. I can tell you this much, until I can trust you, I can and will know anything and everything about you regardless if you want them to say it or not I will know and it can even come from you, yourself. Maybe she can but who knows." she said smiling and took another sip of her own drink and looked at him smiling.
"I plan on joining her you now. Tired of fighting who I am not." she said honestly.
OOC: It's ok. I can work with anything really. Usually if it's all thoughts and stuff it's very difficult.

"Isn't that how everyone learns to survive?" Lloyd said cryptically, if not a bit bitterly. There was some hypocrisy in the words that he himself hadn't caught. After all, he trusted Marcus and Marcus was probably the last person in the world he should trust. Still, because of Marcus, he had grown to be on guard around most other people. The woman sitting next to him being no exception. "How, exactly, does one check out a person's energy?" he asked, head tilted slightly as he thumbed at his glass. "The reason," he replied simply.
"Aren't we all," he muttered to himself. He gave a sigh, eyeing her from the corner of his eyes as she continued to speak. "And how, exactly, will you do that?" he questioned curiously. He didn't exactly like the sound of it, and was sure that showed on his face. Lloyd had always been a private person. Marcus had raised him as such. Had taught him from a young age that most things should never be spoken aloud. "Oh, you do?" he asked, sipping his drink, "Having to fight who you are becomes an ordeal after some time," he said knowingly.
OOC: I do not remember if he had a drink. o.0 Too lazy to reread replies. So, if he didn't... he does now. lol

"I guess but sometimes most don't learn that way. They learn from a different way then a brutal warlord who wanted to play a sick twisted game with a bunch of young, under age wizards and turn them into the darkest thing out there. That's how many of us survived but only one escaped, the others died trying to live and the one that escaped was always on guard." she said referring to herself though making it sound like an old historical fact.
"Well, a person can check a person's energy by what the feel emotionally, what's going on around them, how the person looks like, what they say and do and their habits or how they talk. After that though a person's ability to read auras or something similar is feeling out the person's energy around them by what they are doing. It can be a variety of reason though. Sometimes...it's taught...others it's in you." she said watching him.
"Depends. I can read minds. It's not something that comes easy it's not something I like but it does come in handy when you need to identify a person and they are not who they are supposed to be. That depends on what you are fighting for, the right way or the wrong way and I chose my destination thats why I am glad you are here." she said with a smile.
OOC: It's ok. I guess we can assume he has one.

"Regardless of how they learn," he replied nonchalantly, showing no sign of thinking that a warlord playing sick games was extreme (after all, Lloyd had grown up in a world where he'd learned that anything was possible), "they still do," he looked toward her, eyes narrowed as he thumbed his glass once more. He had the urge to tap into her emotions, but he had learned long ago that wasn't generally a good idea. So he brushed it off, shrugging it away. Still, curiosity did seem to be an inherited Doom trait. "You were the one?" he asked as if asking for a simple fact.
A small smile was on his lips at the word emotionally. Well, he couldn't understand that, but he wasn't one to talk about what he could and couldn't do often. He hadn't even told his brothers. "Were you taught?" he asked. "Oh?" he questioned, suddenly on edge. His own mind was a strange place. He himself couldn't always read it, as odd as that thought was. The idea of someone else intruding in it wasn't something he welcomed, "You can?" He glanced at her, catching her smile as he said, "Right and wrong depends on your own definition of the words. If you believe something is the right way, it is. Only you can decide."

"That doesn't surprise me after everything that I have seen already nothing really ever drastically changes from good or bad it always stays the same regardless of the person but I believe a person can change if they want to." she said unconscious of the fact she was rubbing the coin pendant again.
"Go ahead and tap into the emotions. I really don't mind at all if you do or not, its nothing I am shy about." she had read his thoughts again and she shook her head slightly angry at herself for what she just did but she retained her emotion back to neutral and thought back on happier times.
"I was the only one standing, the last one out of the group. I didn't kill all of them, I hid for a time only killing a few here and there when they had started to come after me but did I have a choice? In a way yes it was either fight and survive or die doing nothing and I wanted to live to see my family again." she said thinking of Selene and she could feel the pain that was coursing through her own emotions about not knowing how her sister was and not being able to reach her.
"No. It was something I stumbled on when captured. It helped when I was forced into the arena and made to play god at who will live and who would die. Yes and I don't like entering a person's mind unless given permission but I can force myself to go in but I only read, what is on the surface not the full mind what is deeper thoughts I can if I choose but its safer to do the surface thoughts makes it easier in ways. good point." she said.

"If they want to, perhaps," Lloyd said thoughtfully. He gnawed the inside of his cheek before adding, "But deep down, they'd still be the same person. Regardless of what they change," Maybe it was a cynical way to see it. Perhaps, he didn't care. People were who they were, and in his opinion, they shouldn't want to change. The world needed people of all varieties. Wasn't Marcus always telling him that without the so called bad people, the population would rise even greater than it already was? That thought made Lloyd shiver slightly even as he sat next to Eclipse.
"You read my thoughts again," he noted. He wasn't sure yet if he liked that or not. His mind was private. And Lloyd certainly had plenty of private thoughts in that head of his. "I just get curious sometimes," he admitted, "I don't like to do it, though. Sometimes, I get overwhelmed with emotions," he said. It was the truth. Marcus had once thought him completely bat shit during a charity event because he'd went from crying, to yelling, to laughing, to crying again - all within ten minutes.
"If the only other option was death," he began, thumbing at the surface in front of him, "Then you really didn't have a choice," he eyed her for a moment. He'd had to choose between taking a life, and losing his own his own share of times. The fact that he was sitting there meant he always chose the former. "How'd it help?" he asked curiously. "As long as you don't go too deep," he replied, "Some thoughts are meant to be private."

"Yes only if they choose to change that is. That may be that they are always the same person regardless if they change on the outside. Sometimes its like seeing something beautiful but yet deep down its poisonous and very deadly. I guess....if a person wants to change they have to change for themselves rather then do it for someone else, they should change when its them that they change for." she said thoughtfully gazing down at her glass thinking about what she had learned already.
"I am sorry, I honestly didn't mean to do that it just slips and I forget to keep a guard up so I don't accidentally slip into anyone's mind, its a force of habit actually and it was unintentional to do what I just did. Don't worry it's just surface thoughts i don't prefer to go deeper unless forced to. It's alright to get curious, there is no harm in doing that only if the situation seems dangerous in itself which, in this case, it's not. That's understandable, it takes a lot out of a person to do that and a person does tend to get overwhelmed by such abilities.
"I guess not, I guess the only thing I was facing was survival and if I didn't want to survive I wouldn't be here sitting and talking to you if I had lost. It helped me because I knew what the person was going to do before they did it and that gave me the advantage I needed in order to survive them. I find it that I don't like to go to deep in minds unless it is truly necessary to do thus and that is very true....thats why if I find things out about people that are really private I keep it to myself and never mention it." she said and glanced at him before relaxing only thus.
"I have been thinking a lot about what I wanted to do recently and I have to talk to someone about it though I doubt that she would trust me." she said.

"And some of them do decide to change," he said with a slight tilt of his head, "but never for the right reasons. Some, because they want to avoid the repercussions. Others simply because they feel they've gotten too old. In any case, it's never because they have suddenly became good," he frowned. Wasn't the idea of good something he didn't accept? Yes. Yes it was. He figured that no one was entirely good. The same as no one was entirely bad. The world wasn't that black and white, and it never would be. "The problem is, most people don't change for themselves. But rather, society."
He listened as she apologized, quirking an eyebrow in her direction. The apology seemed to over explain it, something that he found both odd and intriguing at the same time. He merely shrugged it off, though, thumbing at the glass in front of him as he said, "Don't worry about it. It can be hard controlling those things. I'd know," he added, "My brother often says that curiosity is dangerous, though," he thought about Marcus for a moment, gnawing the inside of his cheek. Where Marcus was concerned, it truly was dangerous. "Very overwhelmed," he said.
"Exactly," he replied, "To survive, you have to want to. Those who give up are quite often, the first to die," He glanced at her. He really didn't speak much, that was quite obvious. Most people who knew him knew that well. If one wanted talkative, they'd have to find Jonathan. "You wouldn't tell even if it was something bad?" he asked. "She might," he said nonchalantly, "You never know."

“That’s very true that some of them do decide to change but never for the right reasons either. That’s true but some change because people want them to change and some change because they have no other choice but to in order to adapt in every day life. I guess age does kind of give a person a reason to change too but some never change even how old or young they truly are.” She said thinking back in how she wished she could have changed and never once killed in the arena but then again she couldn’t change for changing would mean death and death was not an option.
“There is never truly good or evil there has to be an even footing somewhere. I guess it’s just a scale in which it fades from black to white and the black is the darkest and the white is the better side. Though Light doesn’t always equate to good when darkness doesn’t always equate to evil. But yes they do change because of Society.” She said gently and pondered what she had said knowing that there was really no good or bad just something that is.
“It is but it can be understandable though. Curiosity is a dangerous thing though for if a person gets to curious they can get hurt because of their own curiosity. That can be though.” She said nodding but smiled slightly and sighed again.
She now realized that she did need to talk to Luna and then her sister but what would she say to Selene? That she had changed sides? That she thought that what their side was doing was something horrible? No, she knew that she had to be truthful that she was there for a reason and she was ready to fight in other ways, she was going to fight within the group but outside as well and she knew what she had to do which was something she was sick over.
“That is true. Well I guess it depends but I am good at keeping secrets about people, it’s a dangerous thing.” She said nodding.
