The house was perfect for Lloyd, Danni and the baby that was on the way. A full basement, 3 bedroom, two bathrooms, a big kitchen and dinning room space and a wide living room with of course a fireplace. The unpacking had been easy. There where a few charms to extended space such as the walk in closet in the master bedroom which was packed with Danni and Lloyd's cloths. The basement was a nice space for now for the piano Danni had bought with her own galleons, her guitar and ukulele, and of course Lloyd's violin. The babies room was coming along slowly. That was the one space she worried wouldn't be finished in time.
Danni knew Lloyd would be home late. After all she was the one who had asked Marcus to do so. On the kitchen table laid a brief case, wide open with a few weapons of choice. She knew what the mission was and was excited for the bitter sweet revage. She had even dressed up in her best black jeans, a black shirt and her leather jacket with matching spiked high heels. After all they where going after a gang member. She had to dress the part of the pissed off ex girlfriend ready to kill.
Danni heard the puff of fireplace smug as Marcus arrived. She was a little worried about the trip into the muggle world. "took you forever." she said sarcastically. "ever been in a muggle car before?" she asked

Marcus never dressed up for events such as this. He refused to give the victims such respect. After all, he saw them - the victims - as nothing more than animals. Beneath him. He only took time to think about his clothing choices when he was dealing with those who were equals. At least, he dressed to fit the part for the Muggle world. The last thing he wanted to do was draw attention to himself. He knew from Jacoby that Aurors and other Ministry officials were watching for such things. After all, with the state of the Wizarding world, they could never be sure when one would be bold enough to enter the Muggle world dressed in Wizarding robes. A simple black t-shirt and matching black jeans, most of the tattoos on his arms in sight. His wand was tucked nicely away should he need it, his blade was, too. Just in case he needed it. After all, he had no idea what Danni would bring and he certainly had his preferences.
He stepped into his fireplace, grabbing a handful of floo powder as he went. He loved his work. It was a career, not a job. Yet, even he was glad when the day was done. Especially when the end of the day meant something such as this. He tossed the floo powder down, repeating the address that had been on the slip of paper. He arrived instantly, Danni's words hitting his ears as soon as he stepped into the house. "Really?" he asked indifferent to her sarcastic accusation, "I thought I was right on time," he added, a bit of sarcasm lacing his own words. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of a car, "I cannot say that I have."

Danni pulled out the small hand gun from its resting spot in the brief case. It was one of the things she had hidden from Lloyd. She wasn't sure how he would feel about he having one. She took a few bullets placing them in the gun and loading it and placin the safety on before lifting her left jean pant leg and placing it in the calf holder. She wasn't planning on using it, it was there just in case that came into trouble. She then removed the second weapon from the case, a knife that folded into itself, newly sharpened for the occasion. This one she planned to use.
When she was finished she turned around to look at Marcus. "cars are slow." she said crossing her arms in frustration. "but we can't just disappear that will give the minstery a thumbs up that it was us. The problem is no matter how well we hide this one they will at least question me in the end. Best way to make a escape would be on something faster than a car but hidden enough that we can pin it on another muggle." she paused briefly "if it was me I wouldn't take the car....but....I know that with your pure blood status....my next idea may scare you."

Marcus eyed the gun tentatively. He knew just enough about Muggles to know what it was. He'd had one pulled on him a few times in the past. Had almost been shot by one, but was just quick enough to apparate before the bullet hit. He'd never used one himself, and never planned on it. Wands and knives were better. He watched as she put it against her leg in its holder, wondering if she was going to use it. He then noted her grabbing a knife. Now, that was a language he could speak. His face remained steady, though, displaying no dismay or pleasure at either weapon.
"They are?" he asked, clearly dumb where Muggle transportation was concerned. He nodded in agreement. He couldn't argue with her logic. Apparition was dangerous when performing such tasks. Even he avoided it when it could be avoided. "They will have no reason to question you," he said carefully, "If we do not give them a reason to. If it looks like it was done by wizards, they will question you. On the other hand, if it does not," he eyed her before saying, "I doubt that they will," Maybe he was suggesting she should use the gun. Maybe he wasn't. Not even he was entirely sure what he was suggesting. He narrowed his eyes at her words. "Scare me? What, exactly, is your next idea?"

Danni eyed Marcus with caution. The last hint she wanted was him backing out of the deal. "I guess that's true. But that still doesn't solve our escape problem. Like I said before muggle cars can be on the slow side when in need of a fast escape." she watched him as she spoke her next words, choosing each on carefully "I think we should go by motorbike. I know how to ride them like the back of my hand. There faster than cars." she said holding her breath for his response.

Marcus kept his eyes on Danni. He had no plans on backing out of the deal. The thought hadn't yet crossed his mind. Granted, he was the type of person that would if doing so benefited him in some way. But he saw no way that doing so would help him in his current situation. He watched her as she spoke, nodding when she said that she guessed it was true. "I wouldn't know if a muggle car would be fast enough," he said, contempt clear in his voice, "but I do agree that we need a fast escape,"
He kept his eyes on her as she continued to speak. He wasn't sure what kind of reaction she expected. Marcus didn't even know what a motorbike was. It wasn't like he spent his free time among them. He avoided their world as much as he could, only travelling into it when he absolutely had to or in the middle of the night to pick a victim. The look of confusion was clear on his face. "A motorbike?" he asked, "If that is what you feel is best..."
OOC: Once again, not entirely pleased. Hope it works at least.

Danni tilted her head to the side in puzzlement. "Really?" She said almost in a shock voice. "With everything you've done I would image you've been in a muggle car at least once." She shrugged and then added "I guess I was wrong when picking the people useful to me. I just assumed with you current....record that you would have killed in the muggle world before."
Danni grabbed the keys to her motorbike and nodded to Marcus, opening the back door. "After you." She said politely following him out and leading him to the back shed. She opened it one of the garage doors to reveal the yellow motorbike. "Well here it is." She said looking at Marcus.

Marcus eyed Danni carefully. He didn't like the way that really sounded, nor did he like what it seemed to imply. At her words, inside he had grown slightly aggravated. Though, outside, he managed to keep that practiced straight face. The one that said that this was business and nothing more. "I never said that I have not," he reminded her, "Just because I have not been in a car, does not mean that I have not been within the Muggle world," he said. The been meaning killed, really. But he hated that word. Killed. He hated what it implied and what most people assumed when they used it. Such an ugly word, really.
Marcus hesitated when she said after you. After all, he didn't take fondly to people following behind him. Still, he maintained the role he'd decided to play that night and stepped out before her, following her only when she led him. He stared at the bike and looked at her. As silly as he knew it was, he asked only one question, eyes narrowed, "Is it safe?"
OOC: lol Gotta love that he asked that... *pats Marcus*

"Curious." Danni said to his statement. She hasn't noticed that he was aggrevated since his poker face masked it so well. She gave him a small shrug. "It's just a strange idea. You must get catch a lot. Who do you have on your side then? Who's covering for you? And more importantly who's covering for us tonight?" She asked. She wasn't going to tell him that she had already suspected he had someone from the ministry on his side. After all he had danced away from the other murder.
Danni burst out laughing at his question. "Does it look safe?" She asked almost dumbfounded. "Your Doom is showing Marcus." She straddled the bike rolling it back as she moved to take it out of its home. "No it's not safe. It's only as safe as its driver. Do you trust me?" She asked watching him.

He watched her as she spoke, giving him a small shrug as the words slipped past her lips. His eyes never moved from her, a grin spreading his face when she said he must have been caught a lot. A few times, maybe. But always the same Auror. And one of those times, he'd done it on purpose just for kicks and giggles. "I wouldn't say a lot," he said cryptically, not wanting to give more details than he had to. Her next question brought another smirk to his features. That was a question he wouldn't answer. At least not then. He had swore he wouldn't tell, and he wouldn't. As long as he didn't feel he had to. Granted, he would have no problem spilling names if he felt it benefited him. But at the moment, it was of no help to neither he nor Danni.
"You do not need to worry about names," he replied, "Just trust that someone is," She was getting too curious. But he thought that was necessarily a bad thing. At her laughter, he tensed up, aggravation beneath the surface again but well hidden from his face. "My Doom is showing because I want to make sure we are not the ones who die tonight," he said coolly, "I'm sure you can understand why I do not trust anything made by Muggles," he added, last word spoken with venom as per usual. At her question, he lied (and it was a lie, because he didn't really trust anyone), eyes on her as he said, "Yes."

Danni watched Marcus smirk. "I'll trust you when I see that knife go to work." She said seriously. She did trust him. He was after all Lloyd's brother. She was fearful though of his "connections." She watched him for a moment before giving in. She knew she was getting paranoid on what they where about to do. All the other times she had spilled blood on her hands it had been almost accidents. She had lost her temper and let it take over her. Both times she was lucky to have been able to pin it on someone else.
Danni smirked at what he said next. It had been the same thing Lloyd had spoken when she had to drive him to their first date. Though this time was different. "I understand. I wouldn't trust anything a muggle made as well. That's why this wasn't made by a muggle. I built it. Sure there's still muggle parts involved but if a muggle saw what I had done to this bike I doubt they would let me drive it home." She said as she got up from where she was preached to grab two helmets. She placed one in his hands as he said yes to trusting her. Though Marcus was lying, Danni could not tell. She nodded to him. "Good. Now that we're on the same page. Shall we get started on our little adventure?" She asked with a smirk.

He chuckled in response. He couldn't blame Danni. Trust was a tricky thing. It was not a word to be thrown around flippantly. In fact, he wouldn't blame her if she never trusted him. Granted, he loved when people trusted him completely, because it opened a lot of doors, but that didn't change the fact that he knew too well what it was like to trust no one. "Believe me, you will see it do so soon enough," he replied, voice equally serious as he spoke the words. His eyes were on her as she watched him, trying momentarily to figure her out. Wondering if she were confident, or if she was not. Either way, it was going to happen.
Marcus caught the smirk, and wondered about it. He certainly didn't see a reason for it, but he wasn't going to ask either way. "Oh?" he asked when she explained that it wasn't made by a Muggle. Well, that was interesting. "It wasn't?" She continued to explain that she'd built it, and wondered what she meant when she said they wouldn't let her ride it. Well, it looked like that was their transportation regardless of whether he trusted it or not. So, he sighed when she asked if they were going to get stared. "I suppose that we shall," he replied, gesturing to the bike, "After you."

i hope for your sake your right she thought to herself. Danni nodded at him and give him a small smile. She wondered how much he truly trusted her. Marcus was another person that she couldn't seem to read. He was good at what he did. She knew that. She had seen that he was. So for tonight she trusted his judgement. At least just for tonight.
Danni nodded as she took a few mor steps toward him. "Alright let's go." She said placing the helmet on his head and made sure it fit currently, just to be safe. Then she went and put her own helmet on her head as she straddled the bike. She waited for him to get on, placing his hands to hold into her just above her baby bump but below her chest. Kicking the parking stand up, she pushed on the gas as they started to move away from the house onto a permade road that lead to a muggle highway, just like the one at her house,
They traveled smoothly for about ten minutes until she exited the highway and proceed go to a plaza of pubs. She parked the bike in front of one of the pubs and took her helmet off. She waited for Marcus to get off the bike before following him off. "Here we are, I figure we can go to the back alley behind the pub. No one goes back there. It's one place you can't here others screen from." She said with a evil grin. "Our friend should be inside already filled with spirits."
((god moded a little))
