Danni looked out the window in the back of the room. He hands gripping the seal tightly. How could this have happened? She couldn't remember her name ever being put on the pot. She had been pregnant and sure was disappointed that she couldn't be in any of the events this year from it. But she hadn't put her name in. This was all a mistake. Her newborn needed her. Sure there was everything needed to take care of Lloyd jr, at home but What scared her was Lloyd being home with Lloyd jr. Did Lloyd even know how to change diapers?
Danni wanted to see them. Tears whealed up in her eyes. She knew Lloyd would come to see her before they sent her off to who knows where. She wanted to hold her son in her arms one last time and lecture Lloyd on everything he needed to do. This was the hardest thing she had ever done in her life, saying good bye to two very important people in her life.

He hated this. He wasn't looking forward to being without Danni. More than that, however, he wasn't looking forward to worrying about her. Worrying seemed to be an innate trait for him and Jonathan. Lloyd often supposed they got that from their mother. Was this really save? Danni had a baby. As far as Lloyd was concerned, her name shouldn't have even been considered. Worry was the least of the current emotions tugging at him. Of them all, the greatest was anger. Not at Danni, of course not. She couldn't help it any more than he could. But, rather, at the school. For considering her in the first place.
Lloyd Jr in his arms, he approached the room Danni was in. He held his breath before he entered, trying hard not to let her see that he was, in fact, worried. Of course he'd came. He would have found a way to see her even if it had not been allowed. At least they did allow it in any case. "How are you holding up?" he asked, making his way to her. It wasn't the best choice of words, but at that moment, he couldn't find any. He stood beside her, their child still in his arms. Standing next to her he wondered if the greatest was worry, after all.

Danni heard the knob of the door turn and someone walked in. She turned to see Lloyd. She couldn't stop the tears now. She needed him. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his shoulder that was occupied by their child. "I'm alright." She said softly. She knew that there was a lot she needed to tell him. But she just wanted to be in his arms for a moment longer.
She slowly pulled away and took the baby in her arms. After all Lloyd was going to have him all to himself so she figured she could hold him for the time being. She leant into Lloyd still. "You sounded worried." She said gaze on him. "I think you should be more worried about having to take care of a baby without me." She said lightly. "I'll be fine out here. I can tell there's only two who may give me trouble, the Gryiffendor jet and that other kid from ravenclaw."

She turned to face him, wrapping her arms around him, their child between them. He let out a sigh, certain that he wouldn't be able to hide the worry that was tugging at his chest any longer. He felt convinced that she had seen it, though he of course didn't know for sure. Nevertheless, it was on the surface now as he leant into her, allowing her to hug him. He heard her words, but he wasn't convinced that she was. He wanted to believe them, but it wasn't easy. "Good," he said, anyway. Words spoken just as softly.
She pulled away and he allowed her to take the baby. "I might be," he admitted with a slight frown. He allowed the frown to fade, though, and smiled at her and their child as she leaned into him. He wrapped his arms around her as she spoke. "I can manage," he promised. Worse came to worst, he supposed he could turn to Jon for guidance. "I'll do my best at least," He frowned at the mention of the Gryffindor and the Ravenclaw. Well, at least she was already figuring out which ones to watch out for. "With luck, they'll be out before you have to deal with them," he said.

Danni smiled lightly. She didn't think she had convinced him. It was basically written all over his face even though he was trying hard to hide it. "Lloyd, I've beaten your brother up. I'm sure I can handle myself. I have a plan already thought up." She kissed his cheek lightly. Danni knew what would get to her out in the area, leaving Lloyd and Lloyd jr. She already knew she would worry.
Danni rocked the intent in her arms as Lloyd wrapped his arms around her. She was going to miss his warmth. "I know you will." She said with a smile. "My mom will be willing to help to." She frowned slightly. Her mom was ill so she wondered how much of help her mom would really be. "Will you....check in on her when I'm gone? Make sure she's alive when I get back." She said talking about her mother, her voice almost pleading.

She hadn't convinced him at all. And he was sure that nothing she said or did would convince him. This was going to be hard. Not just taking care of the baby without her there, but being without her. Knowing that she's out there. Whatever there was. Wondering if it's dangerous. He chuckled nervously when she brought up his brother. "It's not that that I'm worried about," he said. He knew well that she could handle herself. Better than he could handle himself, if he were perfectly honest. That wouldn't stop him from worrying, though. "I hope it's a good plan," he said, kissing her cheek after she kissed his.
He nodded at her words. Her mom was sick, though, so he supposed that he'd have to take care of her, too, in some ways. It was the least he could do for Danni. "Jon can, too," he said, speaking the thought aloud. He hated doing it, but he wanted her to know that he wouldn't be entirely alone with the infant. If she knew that, maybe she'd worry just a little less during the games. Every little bit counted. "I will," he replied, "I promise. I'll go every chance I get."

"Then what are you worried about?" She asked gently. She ran a hand threw the small patch of hair on Lloyd jrs head. "He takes after you." She said with a small smile. "He'll be stubborn when you try to put him to bed. I usually walk around with him before. It makes him fall asleep." She said hoping to give Lloyd some guidces before she left.
Danni nodded when he mentioned Jon. She expected Jon would help out without a second thought. "What about when you go to work? I don't think Marcus will enjoy the baby being there." She said with a frown. When he spoke of her mom she nodded. "Thank you." She said gazing up at him. She knew it was a lot to handle but she had hope in him

"I don't know," Lloyd admitted softly. He chewed the inside of his cheek for a moment as he thought about what to say. He really didn't know. "I guess I'm just worried because you, me, and Jr will be separated," he confessed as she ran her hand through the baby's hair. He smiled when she said that he took after him, and nodded as she continued to explain how she put him to bed. "I'll definitely remember that," he vowed, the mental note already etched into his brain. He just hoped that he would.
He looked up at her at her next words. He hadn't really given that much thought. He knew too well, though, that Marcus definitely would not tolerate a baby being there. It didn't matter whether the baby was his nephew or not. "No," Lloyd replied, frowning, "He probably won't. I suppose Alissa could watch him. If you approve of that idea. She's good with kids," He hated the idea, but he didn't let that show. But Alissa was the safest bet, of all the people he knew. "No need to thank me," he said softly, kissing her on the forehead, "Just, be safe out there."

Danni nodded understanding his words. That was what she was most worried about as well. "It's going to be different....sleeping alone and not hearing jr cry for us at night. So many people would love this saying it was a vacation. But I don't." She confessed. "I wish you and jr could come with me." Danni raked the inside of her brain for what else lloyd would need. "You know how to change diapers right?" She asked.
Danni thought of his proposal. "I don't personally like her but...if she's good with kids and you trust her with our sons life, then I approve." Danni said. Besides there weren't many choices they had to be picky. Danni smiled when he kissed her forehead. "I will." She promised. "You know there is a way for you to be involed." She said remembering what she had read on this upcoming event.

He sighed sadly. It was going to be different. And she'd be alone out there. He felt like it wasn't fair. He didn't want her to be there, without them. He wondered why she couldn't have just said no. He supposed that probably hadn't been a possibility. Which made it even more unfair. "Hopefully, it will pass by quickly rather than drag by," he said, "I don't know why any of them would think of it as a vacation," he added as an afterthought. He looked up at her then and replied, "I wish we could, too. And yes, hon, I know how to change diapers," he said with a light chuckle, "I lived with Jon for some time when Jon Jr was Lloyd Jr's age, actually. It came up a few times."
He nodded. "She is," he replied, "I'd trust her before I'd trust even Jon. Jon can help, but to actually leave Jr here with him alone. Not a chance in hell. Alissa, though, I trust. It will only be while I'm at work. I'll milk as many leave days out of Marcus as possible. So that I don't have to leave him with her often. Don't worry. I'll make this work," he swore. "There is?" he asked curiously.

Danni smiled when he chuckled. "Well, I just wanted to make sure. I don't want to leave you with questions." She said. "I'm glad you will be able to though." She looked down at the baby trying to remember everything she did for him but Lloyd knew most of everything she did. "Is there anything you need to know?" She asked.
Danni nodded a little worried. Leave days from Marcus where once in a full moon. But she trusted Lloyd to be able to handle it. If he thought Alissa would help then she trusted his judgment. Danni nodded "it's called sponsors. When I need something such as food or medication you can pay to have them send it to me. The price goes up for how big the item is and how long I last per day." Se frowned slightly. "I've never asked you for anything before. I don't like it when you spend money on me. But that's the only way you can keep in touch."

Lloyd chuckled in return. It was cute how concerned she was about whether or not he'd managed. He supposed that he couldn't blame her. It wasn't going to be easy for him, taking care of the baby alone. But he was certain he'd manage. "I know," he said, running his hand through her hair, "I understand," when she looked down at Jr, his eyes went to him, too. "Not that I can think of," he replied.
He listened as she explained what she'd been talking about. He could definitely do that, no question. Any way he could help her, he would. "I don't mind spending money on you," he said with a chuckle. In his family, that's just what people did for one another. Always had been, always would be. "And I'd do anything for some kind of way to keep in touch. Don't worry," he said, "I've got you covered."

Danni loved the feel of his hands going through her hair. She was going to miss this. She smiled up at Lloyd and nodded. "I'm sure you'll be fine without me." She said gently "just remember that no matter what, I love you." She whispered the words and reached up on her tip toes to press her lips to his, fitting them to his lips like they hand done so often. She didn't know how she would survive without him.
Danni nodded when he said he would sponsor her. She hated having to ask him to spend money on her. But there was one thing she was determine to do, and that was to win. "I don't like it when you spend on me though. I would never ask you to spend money on me, but....I want to win this." She said determined.

There was so much he'd miss about her when she was gone. He wanted to savor every moment of this while he could. He knew that it would end soon. They'd tell him to leave, and he wouldn't see her until this was all over with. He just hoped they wouldn't do so soon. "I hope so," he replied. Ever the pessimist, Lloyd wasn't quite ready to say for sure that he would. But he liked to believe that he would. For at least he'd know that every day passing from then on would bring him another day closer to seeing her again. "I love you, too," he replied, the words quiet and barely legible. He allowed her to kiss him, pressing into the kiss himself. Survival without her would be hard, but he really did hope that he'd manage.
He smiled, shaking his head at her words. No matter how often she told him that she didn't like him sharing his money with her, he just wouldn't understand the logic. For he didn't see it as 'spending' but rather, sharing. And isn't that what lovers such as them did? "I want you to win this, too," he said. He wondered if winning would mean being separated longer. But he decided not to think about that. "And I'll help you in any way I can."
