Alina Darkhallow walked passed her classmates, stunned. She didn't know that this sort of thing still went on. She was confused, and more so hurt. Alina looked at her little sister and smiled bravely at her, and her little brothers, who were looking sicklier and sicklier as the days went by. Alina made it back to the back room and sat down. She didn't know what was going to happen, but she knew that this, this was going to be the fight to the death.
Alina sat down in a chair, awaiting for her family to come and visit her. Not that her parents were going to..because they had recently passed away, and she had no clue how to tell her siblings that. Alina looked up as the first person entered the room. She waved, not really sure what to say. What about her daughter? Who would look after her?

Her sister had been taken...taken for the Muggle games. Kailey felt queezy just thinking about it. To make maters worse, she hadn't heard from her parents in a few days, and her brothers, well they shouldn't have even been at the reaping. They should have been in the hospital wing, asleep. But it was required for all years to come, even though, they themselves had very slim chances of being chosen. Kailey ran back to where her sister was taken.
"Ali! Ali! Don't worry about December!!! I'll look aft-" suddenly she was grabbed and pulled back into rank again. She waited for the time to go past and it did. Finally she was able to see her sister, ran to the room and flung into Alina's arms. Alina seemed calm about it all. "Ali...I promise I'll look after December. I promise everything will be alright." she said rubbing the tears that were pooling at her eyes away. "Be strong out there, and above all, don't let the others get to you." she said

Alina watched as her sister was shoved into the room. She ran over and hugged her tightly. Kailey said she was going to watch December for her, which was fine. " Kailey, I want you to make sure that even though that this is a tough game, that you listen to everything your professors tell you, do everything that they tell you to do. And above all, DO NOT and I mean it, DO NOT go out on your own. These times are dangerous for students your age."
Now came for the hard part. "Kailey you need to be the strong one now. I got news a few days ago...heres the letter, you can't open it in here, and you musn't show the boys until they are better themselves. I love you." she got out in just enough time to watch her sister get pulled away again. Again she was left in a solemn looking room. Wondering who else cared enough to visit. Certainly Raven would, but would Lloyd look past their fight?? Now that she as well as Dani were in such a dilemia. Both young mothers at that too.

Kailey was yanked from the room, almost saddened by the expression on her sister's face. She didn't know what all was going to happen, but she knew that she would be strong for her sister. She looked at the letter in her hands, not sure what to make of it. She opened it up and and skimmed it, what she read however was not the news that she was expecting to get on this day. Kailey was in shock and put the letter away, she didn't want anyone knowing what she had just found out. Though she had a feeling someone already knew.
She walked back into the great hall and sat down at the table. She looked around and then rested her head. All that was left to do was miss her sister.

He couldn't deny that he was nervous. He didn't know the first thing about this event, and no matter who he asked, none of his questions were being answered. All he knew was that Alina would be away, and would be expected to battle other Wizards without the use of a wand. The insanity of it all was overwhelming. He couldn't imagine why they'd want to strip a witch or wizard of their wand. Nor could he imagine what purpose the event served. Was it to teach them something? But, really, what would it even teach?
He stepped into the room, eyes scanning it until they found her. He offered her a forced smell as he shut the door behind him. At least no one else could enter until he left. That would spare him the awkward moment of having to share the room with one of her family members, or another friend. "How are you holding up?" he asked, a dumb question, sure. But he didn't know what else to say. Not just yet, anyway.

Alina had waited anxiously for this moment to arrive. When she saw his face she almost had burst into tears. When he asked her how she was holding up she lost it. "I'm worried, I'm scared that I may get hurt or not make it out alive. I'm afraid that December will be all alone...I know she has you and Kailey, and like I promised Kailey, I won't let you guys down. But..theres another issue..my parents..Raven..my parents are dead. I got the message yesterday, and just now gave it to Kailey to read. I know this is alot, but I need you to look out for her as well as December while I'm in this tournament."
Alina closed the distance between them, and hugged Raven to her. The night that they had had together almost made her feel as if this was the last one that they would have. She knew better then to voice that though, because she didn't want him to know what was exactly going on in her mind. Not yet anyways. She didn't know if what she thought were true or not, but it was a possibility.

"I don't think they'll let you die out there," he said, though his voice wasn't full of confidence. He wasn't sure what the rules were. He wasn't sure how any of this would play out. "I'll make sure that she's okay," he vowed. The news of her parents death was a bit of a shock to him. His expression changed instantly. "I'm sorry," he said and instantly regretted it. "I'll look out for her, too. I promise."
He returned the hug, falling silent for a moment. A lot was about to happen, that was the only thing he was certain of. He just didn't have any idea how much everything was truly going to change.

Alina found herself quietly crying into her boyfriends arms. She didn't know how she was to tell him the news. How she was to tell anyone the news. "Raven..Theres one other thing that I have to tell you about. And I must ask you to remain calm." Alina took a deep breath in and took her arms and placed them around her stomach. "You remember the night that we had, that special night?" she asked. "I want you to know that I don't regret it now nor will I ever regret it,but.." Alina cut herself off and looked at the ground. "umm..There's no easy way to say this, and I understand...I really do understand if you back out." Alina said looking up at him, her eyes pooling with tears.
"I'm with child." She said

He noticed she was crying and looked down as he held her. Before he could ask what was wrong, she spoke again. "I'll try," he replied, the confusion clear across his features. He wasn't sure what she was about to say, but it sounded serious. He nodded at her question. How could he forget? It had been amazing. Impossible to forget. "I'm glad you don't," he replied, still very confused, "And won't. But what's wrong, then?" he asked, staring at her in bewilderment.
Then, the bomb was dropped. He wasn't sure how to react. Fear seemed appropriate, but not really. Mostly, there was just confusion. "Child?" he asked. He was silent for a moment before saying, "I'm not going to back out. We just really have a lot to talk about. We'll figure it out."

All of the fear that was in Alina's way, was gone, just like that. Raven wasn't going to back out on her, and it seemed that all that was left to do was talk about it. "Trust me, I know, I know that we have a ton to talk about. I mean, I know what parenthood is like, so this isn't something that I am going through the first time, but you, this is your first time, it's not easy, and I will be going through changes, and well, sometimes I may not be in the best of moods. But that doesn't mean I don't love you nor nothing. It's just the little one of me getting their emotions out as well. I don't know what the sex is yet, nor will I for a while, but I'm glad that you have decided that you will stick with me." she said

OOC: WHOA Could have sworn I'd replied to this one. So sorry dear ^^;
He nodded. Of course she knew. She had December, didn't she? Alina knew what she was getting herself into. Raven was the one who was slightly clueless. But he was certain he'd figure it out along the way. "I know you do," he said, "I'm sorry if it sounded like I was implying you don't. I just... I'm new to this," he said with a nervous chuckle. He nodded at her words. Yeah, it was his first time.
"I know," he replied, "Well, not literally. But I've heard people talk about it. I'll try to be as patient as I can," he said as sincerely as he could. "Maybe a boy this time," he suggested sheepishly. Well, he wouldn't mind a boy at all. Though, he wouldn't care if it was a girl, either.

Alina smiled happily at him. Everything was perfect, everything was going to be okay. She didn't know what was going to happen, but she didn't necessarily care either. She had her boyfriend, her child inside of her,and all the love that a girl could need. "Don't worry hun, I got your back as much as you got mine. There are a few books I can lend to you if you want to read up on things. You know small things like how to properly change a diaper, and what temperature the bottle needs to be, that sort." she said pecking him on the cheek.
Then she heard him say a boy. Alina smiled even more. Even though she wouldn't mind a girl, she didn't mind a boy either. She really just wanted to make her beau happy.
