Jasper ran as fast as he could through the forest. He made sure he checked his territory before sitting down in one of the tall grass areas. He couldn't get his thoughts together. Lately he had been moody. He licked the tip of one of his fangs. He knew he needed to hunt. But lately the thrill of being out of control cosumed him. He was even avoiding Zoe.

Jasper gave a long sigh out. All he wanted was a thrill. No that's not what he wanted. He wasn't even sure anymore. Jasper pulled his knees to his chest and held his head on top of his knees. The muggle games where going on and the tri-wizard cup. He felt like he would never be able to do anything fun as long as he stayed this way. As long as he lived a vampire.

Selene was tired of being cooped up in the castle for several reasons, she really hardly had any time to actually do anything since it was take care of students while teaching and taking care of them while they were sick. Plus raising a child was even more difficult then anything else as well, not that Willow was a problem, she wasn't, she was a good kid and she understood to a point but she still understood and she loved her more then anything. She just couldn't take care of everything, she needed to get out.

She walked out of the school and had sent her patronus to tony to ask him to watch Willow for the night which he agreed to and she had sent another patronus to Airous telling him that Tony was babysitting Willow. She was a good mother, but she just seemed like her life was spiraling down hill at the moment, ever since her father had shown up and had tried to harm her, Airous and Willow and the fact that the war was finally getting to her as well. Once outside of the castle she turned into her animagus and ran straight into the woods, her black wolf form blending into the shadows of the trees.

She hadn't talked with anyone lately, hardly with Airous, Eclipse, Tony, Nera, Hecate, Riley, Rayne, Zoe or any one else for that matter. It wasn't like she was avoiding anyone she just grew quiet and very reserved only speaking when having to and then getting quiet again not really wanting to participate in anything at the moment. She knew Airous and everyone else would grow suspicious of her silent treatment but at the moment she was glad she did speak for now.

She didn't mind the forest one bit, it didn't scare her like it would normally for anyone but it wasn't anything that really triggered any problems, only safety. She started to slow down when she got further in and was near tall grass but then slowly walked from there deeper in the forest not caring how loud she was just so she could be away.

The forest had been quite and calm as he sat there. Then he heard it, loud steps coming in his direction. He gave a warning hiss at whatever it was. He wasn't in the mood for nonsense. He wasn't in the mood to interact with others. He honestly didn't want anything near him but the footsteps seemed to keep moving towards him.

Jasper moved some of the tall grass to see what was coming at him. He noticed a wolf and gave another hiss in warning. He didn't want to fight with the creatures in. The forest. Though this one had crossed in his territory. His reddened iris's glared at the wolf as if telling it to leave.

Selene heard the hiss and when she was getting closer but thought nothing of it since she didn't want to be bothered by anything other then the fact she would defend herself if she had to and she would have to if anything went wrong. She wasn't really bothered by it, it's not like she wasn't used to things waiting ready to strike her she was far used to it by now and she was prepared to defend if having to.

When she had gotten closer she heard another warning hiss and she sent a growl back in the direction not wanting to fight but having to wait and see. she wouldn't attack if she didn't have to but just stating that she was not wanting to even bother with.....whatever it was at the time. She turned and looked him up and down noticing the eyes and snorted at him but recognizing him as Jasper.

'Jasper? Oh for petes sake just give it a break with the hissing, I have no intention to even do anything but just be away from the castle or even looking as if I am 'hunting' in your territory. I get it.' she said gently to him through his head though she hoped he would relax a little.

Jasper noticed the voice in his head. But by now his instincts had taken over. He was not the jasper everyone knew. Not the one Zoe loved. No right now he was a animal, staring down at the wolf in his territory. His prey. Jasper licked his fangs with his tongue as he thought about how wolf would taste at this hour. He could hear her heart beating. It was practically pounding from her run from the castle,

Jasper did the polite thing and gave her a final hiss in a warning. Three strikes and your out. His breathing became strained as he determined if he wanted to breath or not. Each inhale he could smell her. His stomach growled in hunger as he watched the vain in her neck pulsate.

Selene was hardly upset with how Jasper was acting she knew, however that she was pushing her luck with him and she had to do something that would prevent for one, herself being attacked, two get him to a place where he could get what he needed. She tilted her head to the side and huffed shaking her head at him.

'Jasper....Zoe would love you regardless of who you are and you should know that. She knows what it is like to lose control she has several times why don't you ever talk about it with her? She wouldn't think of you any less.' she said again and got up and started walking forward but keeping a close eye on him but then hoped he would fallow her to where she was about to lead him.

She knew the risks and she would take them. She had no heart to be the good person, the one that took cautionary steps, now she was the one that didn't care if she got hurt she just wanted the thrill, the game of it something that she craved for. But in the back of her mind she knew that she shouldn't do this but there was something wrong with her something that made her go impulsive.

Jasper watches Selene. "It's not the same." He whispered. "Because when she's not a werewolf she's just like everyone else. Easy to kill. Breakable. At least when she loses control I know i can move fast enough to get away." Tears streamed down his face "I will kill her." He whispered hating the words. He did not move from his spot.

"I don't even know why you want to talk to me." He said with a small laugh. "You have the perfect life. A home. A family. A daughter and loving normal husband who bends backwards for you. I don't get why you're trying to help me."

'It may not be exactly the same thing Jasper but in the end, your love for her will prove what your mind believes is wrong. She may be similar to everyone else when she is not in the form she hates the most, but she isn't exactly similar to everyone else and she has the scars to prove it. She knows the danger in being with you and she is willing to take that risk and she knows that she, when not in the other form, is easy to kill and very breakable but she has accepted it and would love you to the end of the world. Yes but do you honestly think she would want to harm you, yes it is instinct but in her heart, even as a werewolf, she knows you. You won't kill her, she nearly died several times but you avoiding her and not talking to her is what is going to kill her.' she had said stopping to watch him.

She knew what she was doing was making things worse for herself and that she shouldn't push her luck but why wast the good run when she could continue but in all honesty, she was being honest with Jasper. She sat down again tilting her head and her tail going back and forth over the ground and she huffed, how was she going to get this through to him and she knew that it would be difficult for him to really understand that its not what he physically does it's what he isn't doing that would kill Zoe.

'Why shouldn't I, I want to get to know you Jasper, though it is obvious this is a bad time to actually talk to you, I can see that. You think my life is all so wonderful or perfect? It never was. I may have a home, a family and to be honest I love that, there is no doubt about that but there is always ups and downs with that, Airous and I may not agree on everything, we have our own troubles and our own fights but it just goes to show how much we mean to each other. I never asked him to bend backwards for me and I would never ask that but I would do the same for him and I would sacrifice my life for him and our daughter. I want to help because I have a good heart and I care about everyone, even you.' she said back but her lips pulled back when he said that she had a perfect life which she knew she didn't.
