Rhya was still thinking this wasn't happening to her. She was VERY irritated at this moment, and upon entering the room she was showed to, sat in her chair with a huff and folded her arms.
This would be interesting. A pure blood using muggle weapons? Fun. She hoped Yami would show up to help her and hopefully cast a restrictive spell on her magical abilities. She worried about her sister Nyu the most. How would she fair? Would she get hurt? She tried to think of who could help her. No one came to mind.
Unless Kristof would do it for her. She swallowed. She assumed he would show up and see her off, seeing that he thought something of her and all. Anyone else she didnt know if they would show.

Shadows crept around the room, tendrils seeming to creep up the walls, as all source of light was sucked into the infinite void of darkness. The thick lingering smell of smoke hung in the air as a single burning ember fell from the sky landing silently on the stone floor. The shadows expanded before launching forward towards the seated Slytherin flying towards her. The shadows crashed into the ground a good foot from her and slowly started to rise taking a human shape. A cloud of smoke blew out of the shadowed mass covering it as a figure stepped forward. A long black Haori fluttered through the air as the blade of a katana sliced through the shadows and smoke parting them.
The katana elegantly cut through the shadows as it was slowly returned to its scabbard on the figures left. The smoke cleared as Yami stepped forward, his ever faithful cigarette hanging loosely between his lips. A trail of smoke floating up into the air from the end of the butt. Yami raised his right hand and gently pulled the cigarette from his lips and blew out a stream of smoke before placing the death stick loosely between his lips once more. He stood only an inch taller then her but even though he was shorter than most he always held an intimidating appearance.
His cold eyes slowly gazed down locking with hers, it was clear he was slightly annoyed, "I'm here what did you want and make it quick, I was in the business of important research. Ancient texts won't translate themselves you realise" spoke Yami as he let his left hand run through his long black locks brushing a few bangs from his face.

The sudden surroundings changing was a little disturbing, but she patiently waited for it to cease, and it did. Rhya saw who it was and sighed. "Sensei, I knew not who else to turn to for matters that which are on my mind. Forgive the interruption." she stood up and gave a slight bow. "The rules of the games involve no magic. I realize I am not allowed to cast magic, but there are times when my reflexes cause a spell to be cast without my desire to do so. Can you possibly cast a handicap spell on me that stops my ability to cast spells?" she asked kindly, with respect. She would mention the vampire as soon as he responded.

Yami snorted at her as she spoke, can he possibly do it? It was like she was saying he couldn't or didn't believe he could, it was...insulting. Yami slowly removed the cigarette from his lips and let his fall to the ground were he stomped on it snuffing it out. He turned his attention back to Rhya, his eyes bore down upon her, showing his irritation even if she didn't know what he was irritated about till he announced it.
The Japanese mage folded his arms across his chest and sneered at his the young witch, "Can I possibly do it? You make it sound as if you question my abilities! And the last person who did...ended up dead. So please chose your words carefully. As to answer you question of course I can! If I so wanted have the ability to completely destroy your magical core leaving you with nothing!" spoke Yami quite harshly before he took a deep breathe calming himself down.
"If you wish I can place a seal upon you which will completely seal off your magical core until i remove it. The seal will basically create a tight barrier around you core and constrict of the magic veins that channel magic through your body preventing any from escaping" said Yami as he reached into his pocket opening a void with his magic and pulled out a bottle of sake. He popped open the lid and took a swig.
"Of course I should warn you first off this seal is abnormally large and can only be placed directly on your back and takes up the entire space. Second if you try to force your magic out, you risk destroying your core, killing yourself in a backlash or and my favourite your noire expands and explodes taking out everything in a kilometre radius. But I can place safeties to ensure the last doesn't happen and a safety to allow a small amount of magic through but not enough to cast even the smallest of spells to avoid killing yourself and destroying your core" mentioned Yami as he took another swig of the alcohol.

Just as the other in the room became irritated and offended, and in return gave a tone and speech that showed as such - with strong tones of impatience and anger - Rhya reacted accordingly, her posture went rigid and her face tiled up a little and to the side. Her eyes widened a little and her mouth was parted. So it was against the rules to ask for a spell as such even if it was to prevent her from breaking the rules?
"Sir..." she said with hesitation and corrected herself. "... Yami-Sensei, this is not the case." she thought quickly through what she heard him say and immediately understood why he reacted as such and was forming a response to possibly tame the professor's anger on the subject she happened to word poorly. It wasn't like her to word things poorly... maybe the professor was sensitive, she didn't know, but her response to smooth the waters was already in her head. She closed her eyes a second and continued. "...I am asking such a question, because I fear I may be breaking the rules asking for a curse or blessing for this muggle tournament. I wish not to cheat as most Slytherins would not care if they did."
She knew all of the professors had the power to kill their own students but the threat he said still took her back inside her. He didn't know her well enough yet to see she did have a good level of respect for her superiors. Not just for under threat of death either.
She was still sitting straight and stiff while he spoke because she felt she was treading on thin ice with how he was behaving, and she had seen he had hidden power within she knew nothing of. She didn't judge this book by his cover, because she knew he was so much more to contend with then he appeared.
She heard him calm himself and finally made eye contact with him after he described the offer to her. "So you would describe it as a physical manifestation of something beneath my skin, that prevents my reflexes from accidentally casting defensive spells..." she repeated back to him in a different way what he just said to show she was listening attentively. It took her just a few seconds and she closed her eyes a moment, then looked at him in the eyes. "I graciously ask of you Sensei, to bestow me with this seal, and any amendments to it to prevent me from killing myself." Once he was done she would ask him what he would do in her position, if there was a vampire in the muggle games that essentially destroyed everyone's chances of winning... because he simply had to corner the other contenders and drain them until they were magically teleported out .

Yami merely sneered at her as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He lifted the packet to his lips and slid a single stick out placing it loosely between his lips. He clicked his tongue as a spark erupted from the end as the end lit up, a small trail of smoke flowing up into the air. Yami took a long drag from the cigarette before slowly removing it blowing out a cloud. The Japanese male ignored the slight stiffening in her body posture. A small tick grew on his forehead as she tried to describe what he spoke off repeating it to him in an entirely different manner.
"Sealing is a lot more complicated then that. It does not prevent reflexes you will still have them but your magic won't flow at all. I could go into the specific details but unless you have a base understanding of the art you won't have a clue of what I speak of" spoke Yami as he placed his death stick back between his lips. The Japanese male crouched low to the ground using wind magic to make a small cut in the palm of his hand. Blood dripped to the ground as it flowed onto his palm coating his tattoo, his magic already healing the wound and replenishing his blood. Yami pulled his sleeve up right to his elbow revealing part of the extravagant tattoo of his familiar, the eight hands curled around his hand and the fangs seeming to sink into his flesh, giving the tattoo the appearance of being alive.
Yami placed his palm on the ground as his magic flooded his right arm. His tattoo glowed bright red as a mixture of hiragana and kanji appeared on the floor. The seal glowed before in a puff of smoke a wooden kit appeared. The blood on his hand had vanished having been absorbed by the tattoo. Yami carefully unlocked the kit and opened it revealing an assortment of brushes, thin, large, short, long, sleek and varies other sizes. On the edge of the kit were a variety of bottles, many with assortments of ink. Sitting in the middle a soft textured paper.
Yami gently removed one of the bottles of ink and popped the cork from the lid. He took one of the brushes and dipped it into a bottle of water that sat beside them, wetting the hairs of his brush, "If you wish for it to be applied, I will need you to sit on the ground. I will also require access to your back as this does need to be placed on flesh do not forget. So kindly remove your shirt and any undergarments that will restrict my access to your skin. If you feel uncomfortable cover your front with your shirt. But I doubt you'd have something I haven't seen before" spoke Yami calmly as he placed the brush beside him. It wasn't uncommon for Master Sealsmen to place their seals on only males they also put them on females, of course it was common practice for males to work on males and females to work on females. However in some cases it couldn't be avoid and the opposite sex would have to apply the seal.
Yami lifted his left hand and removed a small blade from the kit. He flicked his right wrist and slashed his palm open. He held his palm over the ink bottle letting his blood mix into it. He took a wooden stirring rod and carefully stirred to the mixtures together, "Blood is a key essence to this, as blood caries magic in it. Normally I would use your blood so you could release the seal, however you have no knowledge of seals nor how my magic works, as such I will use my blood so only I may remove it" said Yami as he gently grabbed his brush and dipped it into the mixture of ink and blood.

Rhya turned her face away a moment and cleared her throat. The smoke tickled her throat. She still had so much to understand about him it seemed. Common courtesy was insulting to him at times. She would just have to be patient, and that was not a Slytherin quality, as demonstrated by the Slytherin head of house himself.
"I would think so, Sensei. Sometimes I find it easier to understand something I know little to nothing of by simplifying it's purpose or description prior to my enrollment in the class I learn of it in."
The entire process Yami went through was very complex to the young witch though she watched with rapt attention out of an eagerness to learn. The way he cut himself so easily and used part of himself to create things out of nothing...
"I wish to learn this art..." she said just prior to his request to remove her clothing. She let her gaze o him hover a few seconds before she nodded one nod and turned around. She bent down and pulled the Slytherin school robe off of herself to reveal just a simple pair of jeans and a green thin long sleeved shirt. She kept her back to him and sighed grabbing the lower edges of her shirt and lifting it over her head. She removed the clothing article underneath the shirt and placed the shirt against her front, taking one hands and gathering her hair , holding it in front of her left shoulder, before she took on step back, and sat down with her back to him, with a straight posture.
She nodded to his words of his and her blood. "Yes, that makes sense."

Yami didn't even bother to look up as she sat down with her back to him having removed her shirt to expose her back. Yami swirled the brush in the ink before slowly raising it from the bottle being careful to wipe off any excess ink so not to create ink blotches or smear his work. He gently lifted the brush and positioned himself at her back, seated on his own knees, his Zabuton positioned beneath his legs. Yami raised the brush first deciding just where to start but also recalling the exact seal he needed to make, he had that much stored in his head it wasn't funny, especially when you have over hundred of different magical branches stored in the deep recesses of your mind.
"Now this will tickle and that but please remain as still as you can. If you make the slightest movement and cause me to smear the seal design, it could be catastrophic. As the seal design must be flawless, completely perfect and one blotch or even smear of ink or the drawing of an incorrect symbol can cause utter chaos" spoke Yami as he lifted his left hand. Water began to spiral in mid air forming an oval shape before it froze over creating a mirror of ice. Another mirror formed in front of Rhya reflecting off the other to allow her to view his work.
Yami placed the end of the brush right at the top just below her neck. With a careful hand he slowly brought the brush down in a wide arc coming down the edge of her back along her left side. His magic held the ink in place stopping it from dripping down her skin, "On a surface such as this, where the ink can run down, making it a crucial part that any seal master has complete control over their magic. As what I am doing is encasing the ink on your flesh in a small barrier of magic to prevent any run off" spoke Yami as his brush came down her lower back at her hips before he brought it around again running it back up the right to connect with his original mark, so far creating an oval shape on her back. The mixed blood and ink glowed as it began to burn into her skin, the burning sensation was small so it could cause no pain just a sensation of warmth.
Yami breathed a small sigh of relief as he lifted the brush dipping it back into the ink once more, "Every time I lift the brush of or am about to I channel a small amount of magic again into the ink using the slightest amount of fire magic to burn the ink into your skin" Yami raised the brush again placing it at the centre of the first mark creating a single dot, from the dot he branched out creating eleven lines that stretched out. From each point he drew lines to the next point creating an hendecagon . He removed the brush allowing the ink to burn into the flesh.
"The first part. The eleven lines branching from the single marker in the middle represent eleven main keys to magic, Control, Power, Magic Itself before the first three the other eight represent the key elements, Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, Lightning, Gravity, Light and Darkness. Each ties into a persons magical core" lectured Yami as he took his brush and started at the top section of the Hendecagon starting with the hiragana for magic '魔法'
"Each symbol puts eleven different binds to your core, the control you hold over your core, the power of your core and your magic directly. The element keys create a power barrier around said core" lectured Yami again as he drew the first symbol carefully ensuring he made no mistake.

Rhya refrained from replying because it used breathing, which caused movement of her chest and back. As such, she breathed as slowly and as little as possible and she felt the wetness of the ink touch her skin. She stayed just as still for the mirrors to form knowing that movement or flinching may prove bad.
His words helped her concentrate on staying still, because when one concentrates too hard on doing something, sometimes they mess up. He back started to feel like there was a fire behind her gently warming her skin. As the head of house breathed a sigh of relief, Rhya too took a controlled breath in and out, because he was not painting at that moment. At the same time she felt a warmer wave of heat on her back concentrated around the oval of ink.
She froze again in the previous manner when the wet brush touched her skin. She was watching in the mirror and seeing the design take form. She slightly recognized it, but only a little. She was of east origin, but she was Korean, not Japanese. Nevertheless their cultures had some similarities. He paused again and she took a breath. the feeling was now as if one had stoked the dying coals of a fire and re-ignited a dying flame, but it wasn't a large flame, it was small and still comfortable.
"The Elements..." she repeated in thought. She wondered what element she could channel the best, feeling the brush and staying still again. While he worked another thought came into her head. "Sensei. How does this tie into my ability to change form?" she paused a moment. "I am an animagus and my form is a serpent, what is called a Spotted King snake. Is changing form considered magic, and does this symbol block it? I am a young witch and still need to harness the control over transformation, I admit. Sometimes I cannot stop myself from changing especially when I feel mortally threatened." She stayed still and sighed. "Which brings me to another point. There is a Ravenclaw vampire that was caleld into the muggle games. I do not know if the headmaster is aware Azazel is a vampire, but he, without magic, is certain to win the games merely because he is immortal, and we, acting as muggles, are the kind of prey he feeds upon. He may resort to using his abilities if forced to. I wish to somehow have a curse placed upon him to slow the speed of his movements and dampen his other abilities given to him by his immortality, or I might as well just stand around and wait for my turn of defeat. Please lend me your insight and wisdom in these two matters."

Yami lifted the brush as he perfected the hiragana for magic. He looked up as he placed the brush back into the ink bottle swirling the ink again, "Your Animagus form is connected to your magic, it is a larger scale of transfiguration, as you transfigurate your own body into the animal which most entwines with your inner animal. Every one of us has an inner beast, a creature we take after. Many like to forget about their primal side as they say we have reached a stage were we have no need to return to our barbaric ways.
In the past before humans evolved and our intellect grew the Neanderthals relied on their primal instincts to guide and help them to survive. That what it means to be an Animagus in the eyes of the East, to become one with your primal instincts. I am an Animagus myself so if be after this tournament if you need help learning to control your transformation I will help" said Yami as he examined the tattoo as the ink burnt into her flesh, ensuring he had made no mistakes.
Yami lifted the brush to begin the next hiragana for Control "制御". He just sat and listened as he drew the symbol as Rhya began her rant about the Vampire in the tournament. He had to hold himself from snorting in amusement as she spoke about it being unfair. Even though it was a tournament to him if you had an advantage over someone then use it and flaunt it. But to him their was no such thing as cheating in combat, if you won by fighting dirty then it was still a win, their was no such thing as honour.
"I really don't see the problem is. In my world if you have an advantage over your opponents then use it, as in a battle their is no such thing as honour, if you believe such you die. In the real world a fight means simply to fight till only one is last standing, through what ever means necessary even if you have to fight dirty. If I have given myself a handicap in all of my fights I wouldn't be here right now. What I advice is you do is try and find ways to cripple this vampire. No one is perfect everybody has a weakness. Observe and discover this weakness and use it against him. Look underneath the underneath. Also sometimes the best strategy can be to make yourself bait for your opponent" explained Yami as he finished the first half of the Hiragana and made his way onto the second half.
"But if you wish for my insight and wisdom I shall give it after I mentioned one thing. In this competition one of the best things you can do is to team up with my brother Kagirinai. While he may be young he is no doubt faster then I am, while my physical strength is inhuman his speed surpasses that of any human capabilities that coupled with his mastery over the sword makes a deadly combo. If you team up with him his experience in battle will help you survive" spoke Yami again as he finished the second half of the hiragana and moved onto the hiragana for power '力'

"I never truly understood myself since I found I could." she listened to his words. "I would be greatful. Becoming a serpent and retreating is not the way the gift should be only used for. I am generally scared of losing my life when it happens.
As far as she sensed he seemed to be listening with a seriousness that was different before when he first came in. When she heard his first response she thought she didn't explain it well enough. But listening further, she understood why he said what he did. For one thing, he was a Slytherin, and the head of house no less. Rhya was a Slytherin herself, but she largely lacked the typical quality of doing anything selfishly to get ahead, even cheating. Hence her request to a forced following the rules with the tattoo. Yami surely was bemused with her attitude on desiring to win by honorable means.
"Cripple him..." she started to think logically. Vampires had weaknesses by legend and one was sunlight. Others claimed garlic, which she doubted. But she was thinking... if there was some herb that could poison her blood and render it repulsive to the vampire, she may have a chance against his bite. His speed was a different story. She thought for a long period of silence upon this while he worked. Part of her wondered if she should have asked for the handicap. But she dismissed the thought. If a Slytherin won the tournament with honorable means, Yami would certainly think something of her, and think she had been a fool at the same time. She would think it a mark on the Slytherin house that one student refused to behave like a usually slytherin, and still ended up winning.
"Truly? If you believe he is a match against this vampire, then I will see if he is willing to face his fellow house classmate." she said. the she went on to explain what she had thought of, what weaknesses she found, and wanted to see if he agreed with her logic and what kind of weakness he thought the speed would have.

Yami started to draw the symbol of fire on her back 火. Yami concentrated on his brush strokes for a moment, ensuring the detail was perfect, he couldn't let it smudge even the slightest, and his work was to be perfect. He had always been a perfectionist when it came to his seals and charms, after all you got that way after an explosive seal blows up in your face for the first time, almost killing you.
One of the things he was defiantly going to do on the seal was put in a trigger switch so only he could remove it no matter what. Why? it was because he hated people tampering with his work, so after he had drawn the symbol of fire into the edges he had drawn in trigger '引き金' and Discharge '排出'. If someone tried to tamper with the seal it would release a large electrical burst to electrocute them. He also placed into the seal the hiragana for memory '記憶', Illusion '幻' and Lock '閉ざす'. It would place a powerful illusion over the seal so that it anyone but him or Rhya glanced at it all they would see would be jumbled up symbols and would be unable to comprehend it, a way of safe guarding his work and preventing it from being stolen, as it was of his own design. He was paranoid like that.
Yami returned back to the original work beginning the symbol of wind '風' before speaking to Rhya, "Depends on your Vampire. In Japan our vampire who are descendants of Shinso Vampire's are known for their 'red eyes', 'silver hair' and 'massive youki or demon energy'. A Shinso Vampire is even more powerful than the average vampire referred to as Super Vampire ones whose powers and abilities surpass those of another's. Your typical Japanese vampire is weak to water as it has natural healing properties it disrupts their yoki channeling ability to the point where they cannot summon up their usual battle strength, and it also delivers a shock to the physical body not unlike being struck by an electrical current.
They are also weak to 'crosses' more specifically those that have been blessed in holy water as they are the sign of the Lord and a holy power. Typically most holy energies conflict with any being of a demonic nature as the two energies naturally collide. Another is blessed silver as it purifies and kills. But I'm more of an expert of my home's Vampire's then your homes. As they are quite different to ours, you will have to do your research on that, but on piece of advice never try to wrestle with a Vampire unless you are physically stronger, as their strength far surpasses that of a human. Other than that you most likely should try and outsmart the beasts"

Rhya still continued to be very still in this process. It was feeling natural now. She felt like it was the inner part of her animal coming through and commanding her to wait as still as a hunting snake coiled in the grass. She had been counting how many he painted on her skin, and felt that there were more than he previously said. More than 9. "May I ask what else you are placing upon the seal?" he was skipping around, she saw as well through the mirror.
"I see... ....from what I saw, he is a typical western vampire, unable to walk in light, has unnatural strength and speed. As to his weaknesses I do not know if he is weak to crosses as they are merely a symbol and only the most foolish of vampires would have the lack of intelligence to realize symbols are mere symbols and nothing more, if you are not dealing in magic. As to the silver... it might come in handy to wear silver around my neck to deter fatal neck strikes with his teeth." she nodded when he mentioned a physical brawl. "I would certainly lose. Especially now. I wouldnt lose if I didn't have the seal, my fear would trigger a shift and I'd be nothing more than a slippery snake that could easily get away in tall grass."
Outsmarting his would be difficult. He was much older than her age, she had analyzed his demeanor and he was hiding a deeper knowledge than he let on. "This will be interesting. Where can I obtain silver..." she thought aloud.

Yami moved onto the symbol for lightning '雷' placing it below the hiragana for 'wind'. He just continued with the work choosing to ignore her question about what else he was placing on the seal. It was his chose whether to tell her or not, but he felt like it wasn't important at the moment, as long as it did its job it would be good enough. But as he drew the hiragana for lightning he was thinking of what over seals to place onto the current one, what triggers and safety methods should he use?
He doubted the girl wanted to die young, but that was what the control seal was for to stop her ability to summon her magic, the power seal to restrict the strength of her core and the magic seal to stop the leaking of magic and the element seals to bind and keep it all in one place. But he would have to place other safeties just encase their was a hole in his seal, he doubted their would be as they were always flawless, his work was art!
He lifted the brush and dipped it back into the ink as the symbol of lightning burned into her skin. He moved on to the next symbol for water '水'. He supposed one of the safeties he would apply to the seal would be a weight seal, connected to her bodies nervous system and brain, to pick up and pulses to indicate tampering to the seal. That way if she tried to change or remove it f the gravity around her would double forcing her to the ground.
"I suppose you could study the human anatomy, while he is a vampire his anatomy is still that of a humans. So things like his nervous system which connect to the brain allowing for the brain to send signals to the rest of the body regarding movement, language, thought and other varies functions should still work the same way it does a humans. Disable that and you can in the hopes to temporarily disable him, but of course being a vampire he has a naturally higher form of regeneration allowing him to recover quicker.
Also his bones should still work in the same manner to ours. No doubt if you aim a well placed silver blade to the middle of his spine to sever it and break the blade off it should completely disable him till he has it removed" mentioned Yami as he finished drawing on the symbol for water.
