Rhya's sense of trust to those that organized the games was strong, and had to be now. She was putting her life in their hands, trusting they would cause her to teleport out when she was defeated and near death. Now she knew she had to draw upon her inner physical strength in order to overcome this. She also wondered how likely it would be for someone not in the games to sneak in and aid others...

The seal radiated warmth from her back as the sensation of burning continued. It was kind of pleasant to watch his art appear on her back through the mirror, that was the one positive thing she could think of right now.
"Perhaps that is a good idea. I will grab some books before I head to my apartments for the training." the nervous system of vampires were vulnerable? She had thought they were immune to pain.
But jamming a blade and breaking it off in his spine? It might buy her time. Time enough at least to when he went to get it out, she could finish him.

Yami moved onto the next piece of the seal engraving in the hiragana for earth '土', allowing him to soon move onto the night three Light, Darkness and Gravity. As he etched in the symbol in he etched in small designs into it, symbols of his own design by applying a weight seal into the earth rune. The rune would connect straight to her nervous system and brain like he had planned and any tampering by her would double the gravity around her body to force her to the ground, if someone else other than him tried to tamper it the rune would also increase the gravity around their body doubling it to force them into the ground. Of course the trigger and discharge seal also helped to reinforce his work.

Yami slowly pulled the brush away dipping it back into the ink and wiping away the excess ink, "While vampires tend to have a lower immunity to pain then humans" commented Yami as he watched her eyes through the mirror, he could read people by simply looking at them it was a skill one developed in combat if you wished to survive, "Things like silver and holy weapons will cause intense pain as they counteract the vampires abilities when impaled in their cold flesh, well at least they do for the vampires from my world"

"One of the smartest things however would be to never go wandering during this tournament at night, find a safe place to hide and stay there till morning when the sun is up so you can see not only this vampire but all your foes easily" lectured Yami as he started on the hiragana for darkness '暗闇'.
