ACTIVITY
We need active members! That's really all I ask is that everyone is active. I have put in place a money system. The more you post and be active the more money you will get and can spend for goodies like a house or shop placed right into the board to post in. If people are only posting in the OOC games to gain post to gain money I will remove this feature so please be active, meet new people, participate in classes and out side class activates.
REGISTERING!
You can register for the site with any name that you chose but once you have activated your account please change the display name to the name of your main character. No racist or profane usernames or you will be deleted! There is no limit of characters on here. Just make sure you can be active on each account. We ask only one account be used for one character. Don't register if your email is fictional, or if you are uninterested in Harry Potter RPG. Please put in a application in BEFORE posting. You can post in the ooc board while you wait to be accepted.
RESPECT!
So this is just the basics. Treat others how you wish to be treated. No name calling, no spam pms, no racial comments. Respect the final disunions of the me, Admin Airous and Co-admins Selene and Jonathan. We are reasonable people but in the end we are trying to make everyone happy. If any of these are broken we will not hesitate to suspend you.
POSTING!
The word count is 150 words to the minimum. This is about 2-3 paragraphs long. Do NOT use chat speaking in IC threads. Watch for grammar and spelling errors. Use either a color or "" when talking. Ex: Airous said "hey." NO GOD-MODDING. This means taking someone's character and making them do something. This is only allowed if you have agreed with the other role player to do this and both have let a admin know you are doing this so we don't make a mistake and think otherwise. Also the use of unforgivable spells MUST be approved by a admin and placed in ooc at the bottom of the post of which admin approved the use. If you sign up for a class you MUST post at least twice in the class All post MOST be third person. Unless it is a character journal then first person is fine. When a thread is closed, please put ((closed)) on the subject of the first post in order for the admin to know to move it to the pensive. (also if you could pm a admin to let them know so we make sure it gets moved out of the way would be great.) If a post is for you and any other characters only, by the title of the thread please put their names Ex: ((Airous and Jake)) If you must have sexual content please post in the subject ((rated r) and fade out the sexual part. It is under proboards terms of service that there be no sex. (even though its part of life.) >.< No meta-gaming! It's ok to read others characters application but that does not mean your character can know everything about them if they have never met before.
HOGWART'S RULES!
-NO different house students in other house common rooms!
-No marriage until the age of 17. If this was real life you would have to wait until the age of 18.
-ANY pregnancies have to be approved first. We don't want babies popping out of the ground every five seconds.
FIRST YEAR STUDENTS:
-Can't own their own broom, unless they get permission from the admin.
-Can NOT go to Hogsmeade without punishment. When caught you will get detention.
-HAVE to attend Flying lessons.
PROBOARDS RULES
* All members MUST be 13 years of age or older. Anyone younger than 13 will be deleted, as this is breaking Proboard's Terms of Service.
