"Oh?" She had a playful look. "It's a bit complex, I know. Life seems complex in and of itself and then it turns around and plays with your fate messing it up furth into something awful."
"It may seem like I should be older, because I literally buried myself into history books when I was growing up. Consequently I had been acting like I was from that era...I think it's a compliment." she saw the look on his face.
"There are certain reasons why I feel I should stay around here. It has to do with my family. And yes, too soon. It is very foolish to try and remove stitches from a wound that hasn't healed yet, am I wrong? The same goes for loss of loved ones. Showing myself to the individual will only reawaken memories and allow him to realize I may be 'here', but he can never have me again. It may take one hundred years before he recovers sufficiently to move on."
It was her turn to frown a little again and dart off kitty corner to her current location, then off set herself on his right front. "'Tis a pity I had to watch my daughter helplessly and let that bastard corrupt my bloodline with a darkened heart. Although I am not unhappy with the bloodline of magic he offered the family line, as I came from a pureblood mother and halfblood father. Grandfather was always unhappy about my mother marrying my father, and I never knew why til after I died. In fact I never knew i had a magical heritage until after I died as well. I think my parents feared I would become a very cunning witch in the wrong hands then way I immersed myself into the studies of witches and the middle ages."
She re-centered herself in front of him. "As you've likely realized by now, I love to talk about what I was like before I met my husband. If you did not know anything of what I knew, I would be eager to tell you what I know... but knowing this school, they have already covered everything. So I won't bother, but I wouldn't mind discussing to see what you knew and didn't. It does get somewhat lonely around here you know.."
