PERSONALITY and Appearance,
Appearance: Is half native American Indian with dark lushes black/blue hair worn long to cover her neck and copper skin tone of a Native American. Has deep beautiful indigo colored eyes, white even teeth and has perfectly softly angled eyebrows and a heart shaped face. Has long fingers for piano work and a size nine shoe size.
Clothing: Wears blue jeans and usually blue black or green T-shirts, tank tops and a lot of the time when it’s cold out a black hoodie and undershirts to cover up the scars on her arms and the majority of her upper body. She likes to wears short black convers all-stars that are worn out and wears a black bandana wrapped around her right wrist.
Piercings and Tattoos: Has an ear weaving piercing in both of her ears and has some tattoos such as the phases of the moon going down her spine from the base of her neck, two wolf paws one on each of her shoulders in the front. She also has the Celtic tree of life on both of her thighs, Rose vine with tiny roses wrapped around her left wrist. And a seven pointed star in the center of her chest.
Scars and Branding: She has many scars from the whippings that she had received as a child growing up. There are several scars on her back nearly covering all of her back all of them very in length from an inch to about three and a half inches in length. There are scars covering her shoulders too and after all the scars healed is when she got her tattoos on her back and front shoulders. She also has several self-harm scars up and down her arms some going parallel and others going horizontal from her attempt at Suicide which failed because of her Aunt’s involvement in preventing her death. Her Brands she received were all from her dad which ended up being a Fairy star also known as a seven pointed star which was branded on the back of her neck and on her right wrist. She also has a brand of the Triskele which is a triple spiral usually in one motion which represented Sun, after life and reincarnation which is located on her left forearm.
Personality: She is very shy when confronted by new people and doesn’t normally interact with anyone because of her upbringing and thinking that somehow if she interacts with people she would get punished for seeing or being involved with people. At first she was very troubled and would have out bursts of anger and would shoot spells at poor bystanders of people, though she wouldn’t want to. However because of the curse her father put on the brands she received by him, caused her to attack and because of the curses in the branding caused her to appear to have a split personality.. She prefers to be alone but gets easily jealous of other students and people because of their relationships with others which she desperately wants but because of the damage she received she is frightened at the thought of companionship. She loves people, and adores children and would do anything to protect people even from herself. She is outgoing and loves activities and keeping busy. She is well rounded and loves history and keeps reading, she adores spending time in the library by doing research and learning new things.
She is extremely into charms, transfiguration, Herbology, History of Magic, Astronomy, Potions, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes and Defense against the Dark Arts. Her favorite by far out of these classes has always been Defense against the dark arts since she had faced the Dark Arts while growing up that she wanted to protect people from the exact thing she was unfortunate to grow up in. She is particularly fond of studying the hexes and how to defend against all of them in certain ways in specific though she also learned how to use both the hexes and curses to better understand how to protect against them. Besides the books, classes and studying all the time and spending so much of her time in the library she loves swimming, being outdoors, hiking, taking pictures, drawing and loves jokes. She never really was big on sports but does get involved in Quidditch and has gone to a world cup when she was 16 years old with her Aunt to take her mind off of her growing up. She is also very into making gardens of beautiful flowers, edible food and herbs to heal.
She also is a very protective person to those who are in need of it. She can’t stand those that abuse people and those that bully others. She is an activist of house elves and other magical species and would, if she could, create a law to continue to protect those that need it from lowest magical creature to muggles and pure bloods. She is smart and is willing to share her knowledge with those that ask her for help in learning. She loves tutoring kids and others that want a little bit more help when needed too. She has an interest in a few fields such as a Healer at St. Mongos or at the school as nurse, Auror, or opening a store in hogsmeade of Herbs, Dark prevention of Defense against the dark arts things and potions.
Selene also is a skilled liar, though she doesn’t prefer to lie but if having to she can lie so skillfully that it is instantly taken as truth. She is capable to see most lies but she also has the ability to see the truth by being a telepath/mind reader. Not only is she a skilled liar she is also skilled with her wand magic and weaving magic into music which she enjoys music a lot and when she finds time she is able to play not only the piano exceptionally well, she can play the Cello, Guitar and flute fairly well. Though she has her flaws of not being able to play drums either though. She has flaws such as that she can’t cook very well and that she has problems with divination and has, unfortunately though she has found a way to read and study and have that ability to study, dyslexia. She has a major Arsonphobia (fear of fire), she also has Agraphobia (the fear of sexual abuse), Atelophobia (fear of imperfection) and catoptrophobia (fear of mirrors).

HISTORY,
Selene is a half Native American child to Markus and Slizabeth Ipswitch and second oldest child to the two of them. She has an older brother named Dimitri who was put in an orphanage by Slizabeth because she feared that they wouldn’t have been able to raise him at the age of 15 years old. Five years later Selene and Eclipse were born and by then Markus had started a cult known as the shadow labyrinth which consisted of not only physical, mental or emotional abuse. She grew up in the cult till she was fifteen and a half years old dealing with all of the physical, mental, emotional and other abuses. Her mother was never involved in the cult and just thought that the bruises were from playing roughly outside with other children. The cult had her and her twin trained in dark arts and they had to participate in the ‘games’ that the cult leaders made to know which children would be strong enough to lead the cult into the future. Unfortunately the ‘games’ ended up killing the lives of the young witches and wizards because it forced them to harm each other though unfortunately things happened. When Selene and her twin were six years old they were separated from each other and Eclipse, though Selene and Eclipse were very close with each other, was sent to Markus’s friend who raised Eclipse in the dark arts where Selene stayed with their father learning the same thing though she also got the physical abuse by their father too.
A year later, when Selene turned seven, her mother gave birth to Eragon, the last and only younger sibling to her and her twin sister Eclipse. During labor her mother died but Eragon survived and was brought into the cult and grew up in it though Selene was the one that helped raise him with the house elf that was in her family for a very long time. Though after her mother’s death Selene became Markus’s personal ‘helper’. As she continued to grow up she was beaten if she misbehaved and the scars all over her back is proof of the physical torcher that her father put her in and the branding that she received after participating in the games, being one of the seven survivors and winners, marked her as next leader just as Eclipse received one. Unfortunately the brands of the star had a curse placed, similar to the dark mark that the death eaters had in Voldemorts time. The games the cult made the children continue the games for years so it was one on going game.
By the age of ten Selene had started cutting trying to release the pain that she was facing the reality of her life though she only stayed alive for Eragon to keep him from any wrong doing in her father’s eyes. Though her brother participated in the games when he turned four Selene protected him as best as she could to keep him alive and so that he wouldn’t die. Though the games were more of a physical then magical the children learned how to use magic without wands though it was an extremely unprecise branch but it gave them the ability to use their magic without wands too though not as powerful. Not long after she turned ten she learned that she had the ability to read minds. Soon her father had made her drink a potion, which was the animagus potion which held a black wolf hair and that made Selene an animagus.
When she turned ten and a half her father branded her right wrist with the seven pointed star for what he would say was misbehavior on her part for trying to eat when he forbade her to eat anything at all. Not long, about a week after receiving the brand mark on her right wrist found out that her twin sister had passed away from one of the older cult members by poisoning which caused her father go into a rage that he personally beat her. She soon received the Hogwarts letter which she was thrilled about because it would mean that she would escape her father for a while except, she feared, holidays, she got her wand of 13 ½ inch Ivy with phoenix feather. As she went to Hogwarts she was put into Gryffindor and only on holidays she was made to go to her father’s home, which she did to protect her younger brother. Though she told her that she only trusted her and her mother growing up when smaller. She, when going to school, noticed that there was a girl that looked identical to her though she had never seen her twin in years never thought that the girl was her twin and just thought the girl was her doppelganger though Eclipse never had her last name changed that Selene thought the girl just a cousin from another branch of her family.
