00V. eyes His eyes are a medium shade of brown. His mother often tells him that if his eyes were just a shade darker and his skin was just a shade lighter, he would be the spitting image of his biological father.
0VI. unique features Jacoby often appears bored even when he is not. Some might say his expression variety is as limited as his wardrobe. He has a few scars on his body, nothing special. Most of them are from falling off broomsticks and swings as a boy. Many of them are from injuries obtained as an auror.
VII. dressing style His way of dress is pretty simple, as he is often dressed casually and his idea of 'dressing up' is a sweater vest and a tie. He is seldom ever "fancy" and has been described as quite plain, even.

0IV. boggart Jacoby's boggart takes the form of a giant rat (a strange fear, but his nonetheless). He defeats it by putting the rat in a dress.
00V. patronous Jacoby's happiest memory is the day he and Jonathan met. His patronous takes the form of an Old English Sheepdog.
0VI. secrets Jacoby is a man of many secrets, a fact he often hides well from Jonathan. One of his biggest secrets is the fact that he not only has contact with Marcus, but knows of the lives the man has taken. He keeps his mouth shut in exchange for not only money, but Jonathan's safety. His other secret is, perhaps stranger, the fact that he has never truly loved anyone other than his best friend. Something he has only ever told to Marcus.

- Is often confused about his sexuality (due to a few "flings" with his best friend)
- Often doesn't know his limits, will do something until it's done right - even if it means he could get hurt in the process.
- Temperamental
0IX. other He's an arrogant git? Nothing else I can think of. Updated to fit how he has grown since posting this. I have realized he has actually grown a LOT.
00X. overall personality Jacoby was sometimes described as 'the most confusing boy in the world' by his step father, a title in which he sometimes feels he had earned. He will often talk in circles as a way to confuse people intentionally, manipulating them into changing the subject when a conversation has not gone the way he would have wanted it to. He enjoys confusing people as such and will do so when the opportunity presents itself. He has an air of sarcasm about himself laced with a bit of dry humor. He isn't very social, often preferring to spend his time alone. He has only a few close friends of which to speak of, and tends to like it that way.
He tends to value education above most other things, even family and friendship. He speaks his mind more often than not, sometimes much to the dismay of those around him. Jacoby doesn't usually think before speaking and therefore, will not hesitate to tell someone what is wrong with them or to voice an opinion that isn't quite popular. Jacoby is very ambitious and is often willing to go past even his own comfort zone to get what he desires. He is often thought of as cold and just as often apathetic. Neither of which are things that he thinks about often. He simply believes there are more important things in the world to worry about than other people. He can often be arrogant, not only in truly believing that he can do nearly everything, but placing himself above nearly everyone in his mind. He can sometimes be violent. A fact that surprises most of the people that know him well.
Despite appearing apathetic quite often, Jacoby actually does desire the acceptance of others to some extent. He doesn't care about them as friends, doesn't even bother trying to earn their friendship. But where it concerns coworkers and higher ranking Auror's, he will try "too hard". Confused about many aspects of his life, Jacoby often fears he's a bad guy. In actuality, this is far from the truth. He usually picks whichever side is convenient, but that doesn't mean he does not feel guilt or remorse for his actions. Quite immature, Jacoby has been told often that he needs to learn how to "act his age". He has been known to burst out with random factoids no one cares about - many of them awkward or nerve racking. He is, also, the type of person who will randomly dance or sing just to break the silence. He doesn't get attached to many people. Only two or three that he can name, even. But when he is attached, he will remain as such for life.

0VI. overall history Jacoby was born to Susan Walker, the result of a brief affair which she has always described to her son as "one of the better 'mistakes' of her life". His biological father was married and therefore, when he heard that Susan was pregnant left the picture without much warning. She quietly accepted his decision, deciding that she would raise her child on her own despite what her parents thought about it. Susan was only nineteen when she gave birth to Jacoby, but she managed to juggle jobs for the first several years of her life and raised him alone with the help of several babysitters. She never asked his father for a single coin, though she knew he had more than enough to spare. The first years of his life were a struggle. His mother was pinching pennies to survive and there were a few times when they were almost on the streets. They made it through it all, nevertheless.
It wasn't until Jacoby - then a Walker - was eight that his mother met and fell in love with Peter Michaels. The man was a Muggle, but she did not care. She finally decided that maybe having a father figure around wouldn't be so bad, after all, and after nine months of dating the two married. Peter soon thereafter adopted Jacoby as his own. Jacoby and Peter had a strained relationship from the start. Jacoby had never taken to thinking of him as a 'father' and that never exactly changed. He, also, wasn't quite sure he liked the idea of sharing his home with a Muggle. How strange the Muggle was to such a young Wizard, after all. The family quickly grew, with the twins being born nine months after the wedding - Kevin and Derek. There wasn't much time between pregnancies, as Melanie was born when the two boys were one. By the time Jacoby was thirteen, the family had grown considerably. A bit spoiled from being an only child for the first seven and a half years of his life, Jacoby never took to having siblings, either. While he knew that many people loved their siblings, he himself had never developed a bond with any of them. He always felt estranged where it concerned his family, and was quite apathetic when it came time to move out.
Jacoby spent the greater part of his three years before Hogwarts fighting his step fathers presence. The two would often compete in screaming competitions, yelling as loudly as they possibly could. They each have a temper on them that is easily snapped, but Jacoby's was always, perhaps, just a bit stronger (a trait his mother often claims he gets from his biological father). Jacoby received his letter to Hogwarts just as he'd suspected he would - especially since he was the only pure blood child his mother conceived. He was sorted into Ravenclaw, a decision many of his housemates often second guessed as he has many Slytherin traits, as well. He made one single close friend during his first year, a boy that was always his 'polar opposite'. He and the Hufflepuff named Jonathan quickly became best friends and remained as such throughout their Hogwarts years. Being a loner, he didn't make any other friends. (But often did spend time around Jonathan's crowd, much to his occasional displeasure)
During his Seventh year of Hogwarts, Jacoby finally pulled up the courage to ask his mother for the identity of his real father. He discovered that it was none other than Marcus Doom Sr, but, also, discovered the truth about Jonathan's father. He was asked never to repeat either of them, and never has. He has kept each secret since he was seventeen. The only person he has ever repeated it to was Marcus, and only because he knew that the other knew, too. He and Marcus have exchanged letters since he was 23, a fact that Jonathan does not know. The two are not friends, but merely began communicating when Jacoby blackmailed the other - telling him that should he ever harm a hair on Jon's head, he would go to the Ministry with everything he knew that Marcus had done. Though they are not friends by any definition of the word, the two do agree on more than they'd care to admit.
When he wasn't spending his time with Jonathan, Jacoby dedicated all his time to his studies. He passed his classes with mostly perfect marks (except for a few classes that he did not excel in - namely Divination, History of Magic, and Astrology - all of which bored him) and decided during his seventh year that he'd like to be an auror. He met a certain witch named Patricia when he was still in Hogwarts (just of age to date an adult). No one approved of the relationship, not his parents nor his best friend, but the two spent much of their time together regardless. Upon graduation, shortly after Jonathan married his wife, Jacoby married Patricia. The marriage has been rocky throughout all the eleven years, but they have tried hard to make it work. Recently, however, they have seriously begun to discuss divorce and are in the middle of one. A fact that he is hiding from his step daughter and the four kids they have had together. Jacoby, much like is typical of him, has always been apathetic toward the family. He's never been a perfect father (though he sometimes feels his step daughter thinks he is) and will even admit it when asked. The divorce will be finalized after Caitlyn finishes her sixth year at Hogwarts and reaches the age that both parents feel she'll be mature enough to understand. He is rather indifferent to his failed marriage as Patricia had often ran off several times over the course of it.
The divorce is finalized in RP world now.
