Kristi is a spunky girl. She doesn't take kindly to those who dont get along with her, and she can be rather argueminative. Even if she realises she's wrong half way through her arguement, she won't take back on what she said. Her stubborness gets in the way for that, although, that personality traight can be a good thing when she sets her mind on something. She's loyal to those who are her friends and will always stand by them unless they earn distrust. Once that trust is gone, it's hard to get it back.

Kristi was born into a relatively poor family. Her dad died while her mother was still pregnant with the animangus. She had never known a father, but her mother did the best she could with her. She was a bit of a wild child, even from the start and usually caused a mess when she got into something. As she grew older though, she learned how to clean up after herself. She helped her mother around the cafe that was open to the muggle world as she grew. Her mother ran the small cafe hiring people now and again to get work done that she couldnt do herself. Kristi had liked the way her life ran, but it was too consistant. What she wanted was something impulsive that no one would really expect.
Then the letter came. It had been written on parchment in red lettering, saying that she had been accepted into Hogwarts School if Witchcraft and Wizardry. Kristi had seen her mother perform magic and was very excited to go and leave the boring muggle schooling behind. She would no longer have to act "normal" around people and just be herself from that point on.
School wasn't all like she expected. It was much like regular schooling but it was more as well. She still had to sit in classes and study but there was also an air of mystery and adventure. There was something new to explore every year and she grew to love the school. When Kristi was around 13, her mother couldnt stand to be alone anymore during the school year. She began sleeping around with some of the employees. When the young girl found out, she began to argue with her mother constantly and they no longer got along. When she was 14 and during the middle of the year, she'd gotten a letter from her mother that made her extremly angry, angry enough to do something very brash. She found the spell in the middle of the restricted section of the library that night and became an animangus. She could not turn herself into her favorite animal, a black panther. She's still unregistered by the ministry and not many people know.
